Dinner ti arrived.
The mbers of the Su Family sat quietly around the dinner table, eating their al.
Yin Tian sat next to Su Qinwei, constantly picking out dishes for her.
The eyes of the Su Family mbers looking at Yin Tian were filled with disdain, as if sharing a table with him was a disgrace.
Everyone was eating when Su Changliu suddenly put down his bowl, slapped his neck, and said, "Strange, how co there are still mosquitoes at this ti?"
"Dad, now that you ntion it, it really seems like..."
Su Qinxue’s face was also full of confusion, "Buzzing nonstop, it’s really noisy, my legs have been bitten."
"Just light so mosquito coils..."
As Su Changhe was speaking, he suddenly saw Su Qinxue frothing at the mouth, her body sliding straight down from the chair!
"Qinxue? What’s wrong with you, Qinxue..."
Su Changliu stood up abruptly, looking at Su Qinxue with great concern, but then his body swayed, and he too fell to the ground.
"What’s going on..."
Su Changhe’s expression was one of shock, and then his body shook, and he fell down as well.
"Dad! Uncle, cousin?"
Su Qinwei was terrified, standing helplessly in place.
Old Mr. Su was the first to turn his head, looking towards Yin Tian.
Everyone in the Su Family had fallen ill, but he, Yin Tian, and Su Qinwei were unhard, which was clearly related to the thing Su Qinwei had given him during the day!
"As expected!"
Yin Tian’s face was a shade of iron blue.
He stood up and strode directly towards the window, where he saw a person running swiftly into the distance amid the darkness.
The figure of that person was sowhat shaky, as if they had a leg injury.
It was the Gu Master who had tried to attack Yin Tian earlier in the day!
"That was fast..."
Yin Tian spoke in a solemn tone, his face looking less than pleasant.
He knew that the Gu Master would definitely strike at the people close to him, but he did not expect the assailant to act so swiftly, unwilling to wait even a single night, coming to seek revenge on the sa day!
"Yin Tian... please co quickly and save my dad, he’s about to die!"
Su Qinwei’s voice carried a sob, looking imploringly at Yin Tian.
"Don’t worry."
Yin Tian spoke, walking over with big strides.
He laid Su Changhe’s body flat on the ground and then began to search him.
Soon, Yin Tian saw a spot of swelling on Su Changhe’s neck, as if a mosquito had bitten him and left a welt.
"It’s a Mosquito Worm."
Yin Tian spoke solemnly.
The Mosquito Worm, a rather vicious worm.
Once bitten, it leaves its own larvae in the host’s body, which absorb the host’s blood and grow rapidly.
At the sa ti, the poison carried by the Mosquito Worm also spreads quickly throughout the host’s body with the blood, causing the host to faint, froth at the mouth, and fever.
"Bring a knife."
Yin Tian instructed Su Qinwei.
Su Qinwei imdiately hurried to the kitchen and ca back with a boning knife.
Yin Tian took the knife in hand, squatted beside Su Changhe, and gently cut an incision less than a centiter long on his neck.
Blood flowed out, sticky and different from normal blood.
Then, Yin Tian put aside the knife and began pressing on Su Changhe’s neck wound with both hands.
More sticky blood poured out, and soon, small, pinhead-sized, pale yellow eggs were squeezed out by Yin Tian from Su Changhe’s neck!
The eggs were actually very small.
But having absorbed Su Changhe’s blood, they had grown significantly larger.
Yin Tian continued to press firmly on the wound on Su Changhe’s neck, making sure no larvae remained inside.
Afterward, Yin Tian picked up the knife again and cut open all five fingers on Su Changhe’s left hand.
Placing one hand on Su Changhe’s chest, he pressed slightly, speeding up the blood flow from Su Changhe’s hands.
After a large amount of that sticky blood had stread out, the blood that followed returned to a normal bright red.
"Yin Tian, how is my dad?"
Su Qinwei stood by, her face full of worry.
"Don’t worry,"
Yin Tian reassured her slowly, "The larvae and poisoned blood have been squeezed out, he’ll be fine now."
Then, Yin Tian proceeded in the sa manner to find and remove the traces left by the Mosquito Worms and the poisoned blood from Su Changliu and Su Qinxue, before finally putting the knife on the ground.
Seeing the three’s complexions change from ashen back to their natural color, Su Qinwei and Old Patriarch Su also let out a sigh of relief.
"So we just leave them here now?"
Old Patriarch Su looked to Yin Tian and asked.
Yin Tian nodded, "They should be fine after a little while."
Ten minutes later, Su Changhe finally ca around.
Upon opening his eyes, he found himself lying on the ground, with Su Qinxue and Su Changliu lying next to him.
"What happened to ..."
He rubbed his head, feeling a splitting headache, his fingers and neck ached terribly.
"This morning, Yin Tian prepared sothing for you guys, and you all refused, now look at the result,"
Old Patriarch Su let out a cold huff, "If it weren’t for Yin Tian, you all might have died!"
Su Changhe looked bewildered, having no idea what had happened.
He was also clueless about his current situation.
After a while, Su Changliu and Su Qinxue also woke up.
The three looked at each other, all with confused faces.
They had no idea what had happened.
