Soone glanced at Yin Tian, then turned to look at Qu Datong.
"A doctor, who just happened to cure Chi by coincidence and bewitched the King with his flowery speeches, nothing but a petty villain."
Qu Datong spoke expressionlessly, then sneered at Yin Tian, "Yin Tian, do you know where you are? Even if you have beco a royal court physician, you have no right to co here. Get out this instant!"
"Brother Qu!"
Sir Chi, who had recovered, stood up and looked at Qu Datong, "Please speak more courteously to the Master of the Chi Family."
"Qu Datong."
Sir Du also spoke slowly and deliberately, "How can you speak to my lifesaver like this?"
Upon these words, the Family Heads and clan mbers of the other three great families present were all stunned.
What’s the deal with this young man?
Qu Datong rely scolded him, yet it led to both the Chi and Du Families speaking out to protect him?

For a mont, everyone’s gaze fell upon Yin Tian, curious about what sort of charm this young man possessed.

Qu Datong sneered, "Today is the day when the Seventh Great Family of the Imperial City is established, what right does this kid have to be here? rely for his dical skills? Ridiculous!"
"With my Qu Family here, the Imperial City has enough, can this kid really join the Imperial City with his dical skills?"
Upon hearing this, everyone nodded slightly in agreent.
Qu Datong’s words might have personal grievances behind them, but what he said made sense.
On such an important day, Yin Tian, as a doctor, even if a royal court physician, did not qualify.
Sir Du hesitated, finding himself unable to point out any flaws in Qu Datong’s words!
Sir Chi, however, spoke up without any hesitation, "By virtue that he is the Master of the Chi Family, is that status not enough to be here?"
Everyone’s gaze towards Sir Chi changed at once.
This old man, he’s really decided to go against the Qu Family for Yin Tian’s sake!
Is it really worth it to do so?

Qu Datong was left speechless by Sir Chi’s retort.
He snorted but said no more.
Sir Chi then gestured to Yin Tian, "Master, co here and sit. I want to see who dares to drive you out today!"
"Oh? Is that so?"
Another voice suddenly rang out, "Since when does my palace’s affairs beco sothing for War God Sir Chi to decide who stays and who leaves?"
Everyone shuddered.
They all turned their heads and saw that, unbeknownst to them, the King had appeared on the dragon throne.
"Greet the King."
All bowed to pay their respects.
"No need."
The King waved his hand dismissively.
"Your Majesty, I..."
Sir Chi started to say sothing in explanation, but the King spoke, "However, that Sir Chi has recovered his health and I didn’t even go to see him, it seems sowhat inappropriate."
"Sir Chi’s recovery is a fortune for , and for the nation."
Sir Chi lowered his head, not daring to speak.
Qu Datong, feeling smug, looked at Sir Chi and Yin Tian, then spoke with a slight bow, "Your Majesty, this man has disturbed the court and co here uninvited, showing great disrespect. I hope Your Majesty will expel this child, to prevent others from copying his actions and disrupting decorum."
But when the King heard Qu Datong’s words, he didn’t even glance at Qu Datong, instead turning his attention to Sir Chi.
"Also, what you just said was not bad, Sir Chi," the King said, sitting on the dragon throne with a dignified smile, "I, too, want to see who dares to drive this young man out today."
Qu Datong: "..."
The other three great families’ mbers: "??"
What sort of spell did this kid cast on the King to earn such favor for Yin Tian?
"Today, I have summoned you all here, and I’m sure you are all well aware of what I intend to do," the King said calmly, his voice penetrating every ear, "For eighty years, there have been only six great families within the Imperial City. Today, I have decided to establish a new Seventh Great Family!"
All faces turned serious.
Finally, to the matter at hand!
They had all been curious about the Seventh Great Family of the Imperial City.
"Yin Tian."
The King’s gaze fell upon Yin Tian as he spoke softly.
"Here."
"Today, I confer upon you and the Yin Family the title of the Seventh Great Family of the Imperial City. I hope you will work hand in hand with the other six great families to protect our lands!"
"Understood."
Yin Tian had just acknowledged when Qu Datong let out an angry shriek, "Your Majesty! This is unreasonable!"
Suddenly, everyone’s gaze fell upon Qu Datong.
"What do you an by that, Sir Qu?"
"Your Majesty, the six great families of the Imperial City all manage the nation’s most powerful forces. By suddenly conferring this status upon him as the Seventh Great Family of the Imperial City, how can he convince the masses? Today, I want to ask, what qualifies him to beco the Seventh Great Family of the Imperial City?"
At these words, everyone naturally nodded in agreent.
"Indeed."
"There’s no such rule."
"A family that no one has even heard of has suddenly been conferred the status of the Seventh Great Family. Indeed, it’s hard to justify."
