Yin Tian, carrying Murong Liuli, left William’s villa; they didn’t go anywhere else but directly returned to the hotel to prepare for the evening’s knighthood ceremony.
"Yin Tian, after the knighthood ceremony, are we leaving here?"
Murong Liuli, lying on the bed playing with her phone, asked indifferently.
"Yes."
Yin Tian nodded, a look of nostalgia on his face, "I wonder if anything has changed over there during the days we’ve been gone."
Just then, as if suddenly rembering sothing, Murong Liuli sat up from the bed and then ca over to Yin Tian’s side.
"Tian, tell about your other fiancées."
"What’s there to tell? Aren’t you going to et them the day after tomorrow?"
"But I’m curious..."
As she spoke, Murong Liuli kept shaking Yin Tian’s arm.
Yin Tian, quite helpless, said softly, "Alright, alright, let go of first, then I’ll tell you."
"Okay!"
Murong Liuli imdiately let go of Yin Tian’s arm and sat there obediently, her face filled with anticipation.
...
Ti flew by, and in the blink of an eye, it was already the next evening.
Yin Tian and Murong Liuli were still waiting for Tom to pick them up, but instead received a call from William.
"Tian... I’m really sorry, there has been a little accident, you might need to co here on your own now..."
Yin Tian blinked, jokingly said, "Is this all the treatnt a duke gets in your country?"
"Don’t tease ; I really had a bit of an accident here, so you’ll need to bear with it."
"No problem."
Yin Tian nodded, "Send the location; we’ll head out now."
"Alright."
William hung up the phone.
A few seconds later, Yin Tian’s phone rang, already receiving the location from William.
Yin Tian checked it, found it not far from the hotel where they were staying, and took Murong Liuli downstairs imdiately.
By the ti Yin Tian and Murong Liuli arrived at the venue of the knighthood ceremony, twenty minutes had passed.
The outside was filled with parked cars.
"So many cars!"
Murong Liuli expressed her surprise.
"Seems this knighthood ceremony is quite an event," Yin Tian said with a slight smile, then took Murong Liuli’s hand and walked toward the venue.
But just then.
From behind them, suddenly the roaring sound of a motorcycle engine erged.
Yin Tian frowned and promptly pulled Murong Liuli into his arms.
Murong Liuli uttered a cry of surprise, not even having ti to realize what was happening.
The next second, after Yin Tian had pulled Murong Liuli to his side, a speeding motorcycle zipped past the spot where she had just been standing.
Whoosh!
The fierce wind tousled Murong Liuli’s hair.
Yin Tian’s expression grew grim as he watched the motorcycle that had stopped not far away and the young man alighting from it.
If it hadn’t been for him, any ordinary person likely wouldn’t have had ti to react.
With the speed that motorcycle was going just now, it could have instantly taken Murong Liuli’s life!
"Are you two blind?"
The young man had the characteristic blond hair of the Great British Empire and, though handso, spoke in an especially offensive manner, "You even dare to block my way?"
"You were the one who almost hit just now!!"
Murong Liuli’s eyes brimd with tears, her voice filled with grievance.
The young man scoffed, then shook his head, "Really, why should I bother with you commoners about such things?"
With that, he actually turned around and walked away.
He went straight into the building.
"Tian..."
Murong Liuli looked at Yin Tian with a pitiful expression.
But in Yin Tian’s eyes, there was a flash of cold light.
This young man seed to be another attendee of the knighthood ceremony...
"Don’t be angry,"
Yin Tian reached out and rubbed Murong Liuli’s head, "How about I get back at him for you later?"
"Mmh..."
Murong Liuli sniffed, looking extrely aggrieved.
"Let’s go."
Yin Tian took Murong Liuli’s hand again and headed toward the venue.
When the security guard saw Yin Tian and Murong Liuli approaching, he too wore an expression of contempt, "Sorry, the two of you, this place has been booked, and people from other countries are not allowed inside."
Yin Tian, not bothering to waste words with the guard, directly pulled out the duke’s dal Queen Eliza had personally given him from his pocket.
The sight of the duke’s dal made the guard’s legs go weak with fear.
He had never heard of a foreigner receiving a duke’s dal from his own country before.
But he could tell that the dal in Yin Tian’s hands was genuine.
The man standing in front of him was a bona fide duke!
"Now, may I go in?"
Yin Tian asked coolly.
"Of course, of course... Please..."
The guard stamred out, his previously straight back bending imdiately.
He didn’t even dare to glance at Yin Tian’s face again!
