Harris had left Aiden's study for a long ti, but Aiden was still in the room. He did not move from his place, still sitting in the sa chair as before. His eyes were closed, resting, but his brain continued to think about the information that Harris had just given, especially about Raka Mahendra's return.
His body leaned back on the chair while his head looked up slightly towards the ceiling of the room. His eyes remained closed while his brain continued to spin rapidly.
Until suddenly, he heard loud voices from downstairs. The voice made him wake up from his thoughts. He opened his eyes in annoyance and was amazed when he heard unfamiliar voices.
Aiden imdiately got up from his chair, left his study and went downstairs to see what was going on.
…
Anya had just finished helping Hana to wash the dishes and clear the table after breakfast. It beca her routine with Hana every ti they finished eating.
Today, she had too much ti in her hands. She didn't need to go to the flower garden because Aiden had ordered one of the servants to water the flower garden. In the end, she decided to relax in the family room while waiting for Aiden to finish discussing his work with Harris.
She sat on the sofa in the living room and turned on the television. However, her eyes were not fixed on the program broadcast by the television. Her attention was focused on the book she was holding. She planned to finish the book in her spare day.
When she was engrossed in reading a book, a noise was heard from outside.
"Anya! This is dad! Let father in!" Deny's voice ca from the front door of the house. His shout was followed by a loud banging on the door.
The voices of several other people were heard, as if trying to block Deny from entering the house. But Deny continued to insist and bang on the door screaming, forcing his way to et Aiden.
The man wanted to et Aiden, not Anya…
Anya was surprised when she heard her father's voice. She imdiately got up and left her book on the sofa. Hana also rushed to the front door, wiping her wet hands. She rushed out because she heard a commotion.
However, the two of them imdiately stopped when they saw Aiden descending from the second floor. As he walked downstairs, Aiden told one of his bodyguards to open the door and let Deny in. He ca down and approached Anya, while waiting for the arrival of the man who was making a scene outside his house.
Deny entered while dragging Natali, his eyes were fixed on Aiden. He did not pay attention to Anya who was standing near Aiden and did not look at her at all. Deny just looked at Aiden.
"Stop right there." Aiden said coldly as Deny continued to step forward to approach him. He glared at the two people who entered his house. He did not want the two people to be too close to him and Anya.
"Aiden, please forgive my stupid daughter." Deny said as he continued to drag Natali into the house.
Aiden snorted when he saw the two people. He knew why Deny ca to his house. The last few days, this man ca to his office and insisted on seeing him. It was all because Aiden refused to collaborate with Deny's company on a project he would carry out next. Aiden was never even willing to et him and Deny always ca ho empty-handed.
Now, it seed that the man was looking for another way to et him. The man ca to his house because Aiden didn't want to see him at the office. He even brought his cunning daughter to apologize.
Deny pushed Natali's body, told her to kneel on the ground and apologized to Aiden. anwhile, the only person Natali saw was Anya. Natali saw Anya standing not far from Aiden and glared at her sharply. Her gaze was filled with hatred as if Anya was the one who was at fault for what she was experiencing at this ti. As if Anya was the cause of her suffering.
Anya saw the look on Natali's face with an indifferent look. She could also see Natali's hands were still a little red from the hot water Aiden had poured on them. But she had no intention of helping Natali. She was not stupid enough to help people who'd wronged her.
All of this was Natali's own fault. She was the one who planned to lie to Aiden and fra him to get out of their match. She was the one who made Aiden so angry.
As a grown woman Natali must take responsibility for her actions. Now, she had to endure what she had done!
"Aiden, I just found out what really happened. I brought my stupid daughter to apologize to you. It's up to you how you want to punish her, but please forgive her." Deny said, pleading. He was desperate, not because he felt guilty for his daughter's actions, but because Aiden had cut all employnt relations with his company.
Just as he didn't care about Anya, he didn't care about Natali either. Previously, Natali was still useful to him because his daughter could be engaged to a mber of the Atmajaya family. Natali and Aiden's engagent could bring the Tedjasukmana family to prosperity.
However, look at how things were now. Natali didn't just ss up the engagent which could bring the Tedjasukmana Family into one of the powerful families. The girl also made Aiden so angry that Atmajaya Group no longer wanted to cooperate with his company.
His daughter was really stupid.
Aiden just raised her eyebrows while looking at the two people in front of her. Not a single word ca out of his mouth. He wanted to see what Deny and Natali wanted to do.
"Aiden, I'm sorry..." Said Natali softly. She tried to make her voice sound pitiful so that Aiden would lt. However, her eyes filled with hatred on Anya. She wasn't aware that Aiden could see all of that.
As long as she could pretend to be a weak woman, no man would have the heart to do anything to her. She believed this thod also worked in front of Aiden. Little did she know that she was ultimately wrong. Aiden paid no attention to her, "Sorry for what? Tell what was wrong with you." He asked in a cold voice. He stared straight at Natali, completely unfazed by Natali's pleading voice that could lt the hearts of all n.
Anya who witnessed all that could only shake her head. Now, she could see Natali's acting clearly. Inside, she cursed herself for being so stupid and trusting Natali before. Why was she so stupid that she couldn't see how fake this woman was?
Aiden's gaze made Natali feel sweat running down her forehead. She felt that if she answered incorrectly this ti, maybe Aiden would really kill her.
Aiden was the most handso and wealthiest person in town. Even though his eyes were blind, there were still many won who were lining up to beco his lovers. Natali was really lucky to be engaged to a man like that.
However, Natali did not even appreciate her luck and betrayed Aiden.
She felt the hair on her neck stand up. Her mouth opened and closed again, unable to find the right words to answer the man in front of her.
