"Anya, it's father. Natali disappeared. I can't get out of the hospital. Can you help to find her?" Deny said as soon as the call was connected to Anya.
Hearing his words, Anya's throat felt tight. She couldn't say anything.
"Anya, can you hear ? Father had just dread that Natali was crying. I was so panicked and afraid sothing happened to her. Can you ask Aiden for help? I'm worried that sothing bad happened to Natali," Deny continued from the phone.
"I don't have ti for that. Natali is the daughter-in-law of the Mahendra Family. If sothing happens to her, just tell them to look for her," Anya said coldly.
"Anya, Natali is your sister. Don't be like this. I have planned a big wedding for you after I received an investnt from the Mahendra Family. I know you won't embarrass as my daughter, right?" Deny said, trying to persuade Anya.
"Natali is your daughter. I don't have any relationship with you anymore. Don't call again," Anya imdiately hung up.
Their car had stopped in front of the house. Aiden told his bodyguard to get out and leave the two of them in the car.
Anya was about to cry when she received a call from Deny.
Even though she knew that Deny was not her real father, hearing Deny panicking and worrying about Natali sohow hurt her.
She felt so sad…
Probably because she treated Deny as a father figure for a long ti…
Or maybe because she missed a father figure in her life…
When Natali disappeared, Deny was the first to worry and look for her.
But when Anya was in trouble, nobody cared.
"Don't cry. You still have ," Aiden pulled Anya's body into his arms.
"Aiden, I also want my father's love. I really wanted it since I was little, but only Natali was in his heart," Anya leaned her head on Aiden's chest. "Am I not worthy of being loved?"
"Isn't it enough that I love and spoil you?" Aiden lowered his head and wiped the tears that rolled down Anya's face. "I don't mind to 'love you' until dawn today,"
Aiden's words made Anya laugh between tears. "I can't stand you. Forget it," she said with a chuckle.
"Don't you want to be loved?" Aiden lifted Anya's chin and chewed her lips.
Anya returned Aiden's kiss, but her eyes glanced slightly at the door of the house worriedly. What if a servant ca out? What if Hana saw them?
Aiden's kiss deepened until he heard the sound of approaching footsteps. However, instead of releasing his wife imdiately, he purposely kissed Anya anyway.
Anya's face turned red then she hit Aiden's shoulder softly. The man just chuckled when he saw Anya fixing her clothes and hair before getting out of the car.
Hana stopped at the door of the house and looked at the two of them with a smile.
Aiden got out of the car first and then helped Anya to get off.
"You guys are back! Mrs. Diana is waiting," the expression on Hana's face looked a little worried.
"Is she still awake? What happened?" Anya asked in surprise.
She and Aiden left after dinner and now they ca back late. But why was her mother waiting for her return?
"Mrs. Diana is asleep, but she received a call from Mr Deny. They said that Miss Natali couldn't be contacted, so… " Hana looked doubtful when explaining this.
Aiden's face turned serious. "Did she know about it?"
"Mrs. Diana lost her cell phone when she went to the park. After that, soone tried to harm Anya. A few days later, Natali disappeared. Mrs. Diana felt suspicious and tried to connect the dots," Hana answered.
Anya fidgeted when she heard Hana's explanation. "My mother is very sensitive. We'd better figure out how to explain all this to her,"
"No need. Let explain it to her," Aiden took Anya's hand and entered the family room.
Diana was sitting on the sofa, looking like a parent ready to scold her children for doing sothing wrong.
"Mother, we are ho. Are you waiting for ?" Anya imdiately greeted her and pretended to be calm.
"Let go of Natali," Diana didn't mince words. She even knew that Natali was in Aiden's hands. Otherwise, it would be impossible for Anya and Aiden to go out at nights like this.
"Mother, I don't understand what you are talking about," Anya said.
"Deny called and said that Natali was missing. A few days ago, I lost my cell phone. Soone called you on my cell phone and nearly hurt you. Luckily, Aiden found you at the right ti. If this has anything to do with Natali, hand it over to the police. Don't get your hands dirty for soone like her," Diana said firmly.
Anya turned her head to look at her husband. She didn't know whether to admit or continue to lie.
"I caught Natali. I just want her to feel what she wanted to do to Anya. If not, she would never realize her mistake," Aiden answered honestly.
Diana looked at Anya and Aiden who were standing in front of her. They hadn't been married for long, but Aiden truly loved Anya, more than he loved himself.
Diana also felt very angry when she found out that Natali intended to harm Anya. But after calming herself down, she realized that they shouldn't get their hands dirty for soone like Natali.
"Aiden, as Anya's mother, I also felt very angry when I found out that Natali wanted to harm my daughter. But you shouldn't deal with Natali this way. Leave her to the authorities," Diana said.
"Mother ..." Anya hugged her mother in relief. "I thought you would scold us,"
Diana stroked her daughter's hair affectionately. "Of course I will scold you. How can you hide sothing this big from ?"
"With Aiden, no problem will happen to . Look at , I'm fine," said Anya with a smile.
"I can rest easy when Aiden is with you. But your stupidity should also be reduced a little," Diana pointed to Anya's forehead. "Go back to your room. I want to talk to Aiden for a while,"
Anya looked at Aiden carefully, worried that her mother would scold her husband.
"What kind of expression is that? It's not like I'm going to eat your husband. How long have you been married that you are so possessive of him?" Diana laughed as she said it.
"Mom, stop it. Alright, I want to take a shower first," Anya imdiately got up and ran away to hide the blush on her face.
Once Anya left, only Aiden and Diana were in the living room. Aiden told Hana and all the other servants to rest.
"Sit down," Diana said.
Aiden imdiately sat down. His face looked normal as if he had done nothing wrong.
"Did you guys et Natali?" Diana asked.
"Anya is too soft. She thinks there is a reason behind Natali's cruelty to her all this ti. I brought Anya to ask everything directly in front of Natali," Aiden didn't hide anything and said the truth in front of Diana.
"No matter how many tis Natali has hurt her, Anya always thinks of Natali as her sister because she thinks Deny's blood is flowing in their bodies. You did the right thing. Let Anya know the truth so that she won't be rciful the next ti. Fortunately, you saved Anya from it. Otherwise… "
Diana closed her eyes sadly. She couldn't imagine what would happen to her daughter if she fell into the hands of the two n.
"Mother, as long as I am here, no one will be able to hurt Anya. Don't worry," Aiden said.
"Did Natali beg in front of Anya? What did Anya say?" Diana asked.
