This milk tea shop had a lot of character.

Because business was booming, they didn’t take online orders; you had to wait in line.

In the entire Capital Star, this was the only milk tea shop where you had to stand in line to order.

Yan Qianyi had just positioned herself at the end of the long queue when suddenly a familiar voice reached her.

"Qianyi, I’ve finally waited for you!"

She looked up and saw Qu Yang erging from the shop with a cup of milk tea in his hand.

His face was all smiles, reminding her of the tis when she would wait outside and he would cheerfully approach her with the milk tea he’d queued up for.

Yan Qianyi paused, "Waited for ?"

"Yeah, I ssaged you and called you, but you didn’t answer, and I didn’t know where you were living now, so I thought of how you used to love this shop’s milk tea. Now that it’s winter break, you’d co by eventually, so I’ve been here every day waiting for you."

Yan Qianyi gave an awkward twist of her lips and let out a cold chuckle.

That’s really touching.

"I can’t believe my persistence has finally paid off and I’ve gotten to see you!"

Qu Yang offered the milk tea to Yan Qianyi, "I ordered it for you, it’s still your favorite flavor. I know you hate to queue up, so I co here every day to order the milk tea you like, hoping to bump into you."

Yan Qianyi’s brows knit slightly, "Are you really that idle?"

The smile froze on Qu Yang’s face; he quickly stuffed the milk tea into Yan Qianyi’s hands, "It’s cold, warm up your hands."

This scene was captured by people who had been squatting in the corner all along.

"No need, I’ll get my own."

Yan Qianyi tried to give the milk tea back to Qu Yang.

As they pushed back and forth, the milk tea cup fell to the ground and spilled everywhere.

The people in line all looked their way, and in the eyes of strangers was sympathy for Qu Yang.

"This boy cos every day, saying he’s buying milk tea for his girlfriend, enduring the long queue, but she’s unappreciative."

"Yeah, that’s heartless."

"If my boyfriend was willing to queue up every day to buy milk tea for , I’d marry him already."

"How envious."

"Pretty girls really do beco spoiled and arrogant. She’s been spoiled rotten."

Hearing everyone’s quiet discussion, Yan Qianyi no longer felt like drinking milk tea.

She turned and walked away.

Qu Yang continued to follow her, "Qianyi, don’t be mad."

Yan Qianyi stopped and glared back at him, "What exactly do you want? Can’t you stop making a scene in public?"

People who didn’t know better would think they were a couple quarreling.

Qu Yang looked at Yan Qianyi with pleading eyes, "I... I want to make up with you."

Yan Qianyi thought it was completely unreasonable, "Have you lost your mind? Haven’t we already made ourselves clear?"

This was utterly absurd!

Qu Yang had not sought her out for a long ti.

She thought he had completely let go.

She didn’t know what had gone wrong with him all of a sudden for him to start pestering her again.

Qu Yang said, "Anyway, you’ve broken up with Mu Yunlie, and Yan Ruyi is in jail, can’t we go back to how things were?"

"I don’t know where you find the courage to say such things. It’s just not possible between us; I’ve told you before. And I’ve reconciled with my husband; we’re living together now."

Qu Yang furrowed his brow as if he hadn’t expected this but also didn’t seem too shocked.

"Stop following and stop wasting ti on aningless things!"

Yan Qianyi finished, turned, and walked away, slipping into the mall ahead.

The top floor of the mall was where the dining options were located, and the grilled at restaurant that Yan Ruyi had suggested to Mu Yunlie was right here.

There were many people shopping for clothes in the mall, but not many people were eating upstairs.

Nowadays, food was much more expensive than clothing.

Most people chose to drink Nutrient Liquid, preferring to spend their money on tangible goods rather than indulging in even a single bite of food.

Yan Qianyi walked into the grilled at restaurant.

It was lunchti, and only a few tables in the restaurant were taken. Although there were no private rooms, it was still fairly quiet.

She knew Mu Yunlie didn’t like crowded places. He usually only dined in private rooms when eating out, so she had deliberately chosen a corner spot farthest from everyone else.

After sitting down, Yan Qianyi pulled up her Light Screen to check so information.

She didn’t know how much ti had passed when suddenly a bouquet of vivid, dripping red roses appeared before her.

A smile blood across her face, "Ah Lie, you’ve co..."

But when she looked up, the smile on her face instantly stiffened.

She had thought it was Mu Yunlie who had arrived, but to her surprise, it was Qu Yang!

Yan Qianyi frowned, "Didn’t I tell you not to follow ?"

Qu Yang placed the roses on the table and sat down opposite Yan Qianyi.

"I saw you entering this mall, and I knew you would co to this grilled at restaurant. Qianyi, look, I’m the person in the world who understands you the best. Only with soone who truly understands you can you be truly happy."

Yan Qianyi scoffed coldly, "If you really understood , you wouldn’t be pestering like this."

"I just don’t want to give up on you that easily."

"But you already gave up on once."

"I’m sorry... I truly realize my mistake, won’t you give another chance?"

"There’s no need for apologies, I don’t care at all." Yan Qianyi said indifferently, "You better leave now. I made lunch plans with my husband, and he’ll be here any minute. He has a bad temper, and if you don’t want to be beaten to a pulp by him, I advise you to disappear right now."

Mu Yunlie was quite the jealous type. If he were to arrive and see Qu Yang here with a bunch of roses, he would definitely be unhappy.

She really didn’t feel like explaining anything about Qu Yang again.

"Then I’ll find you another ti, and we can talk properly."

Qu Yang stood up and left without any hesitation.

Before Yan Qianyi could even react, he had already vanished from sight.

Yan Qianyi chuckled to herself, speechless.

She had never known before that not only was Qu Yang cheeky, but he was also a coward.

If she had known that rely ntioning Ah Lie would scare Qu Yang off, she would have said it much earlier.

After checking the ti and estimating that Mu Yunlie should be arriving soon, she pressed the service call button on the table.

A service robot made its way to her.

After placing her order, just as she was about to ask the robot to dispose of the roses, Mu Yunlie walked over.

Seeing Yan Qianyi holding the roses, he asked, "Surely they’re not for ?"

Yan Qianyi paused for a mont.

This was... a bit awkward.

She looked up at Mu Yunlie and explained with a smile, "They were giving them out downstairs in the mall as part of a promotion, but I’m not too fond of roses. I was about to give them to the robot."

Mu Yunlie sat down across from her, his face filled with a gentle smile, "I like them, give them to ."

Yan Qianyi: "..."

Seeing the expectant look in Mu Yunlie’s eyes, she couldn’t bear to refuse.

Feeling extrely awkward inside, she handed the roses to him, "Then they’re yours."

Mu Yunlie took them in both hands and took a sniff.

Amidst the brilliant red roses, his face was as entrancingly handso as a supernatural being.
