Upon hearing this, Yan Qianyi was startled.
Mu Yunlie froze completely.

Mu Yunlie moved in front of her, "The words I said that day were indeed a joke."

"Exactly, exactly." Nangong Xiaoxue nodded repeatedly, "We just ca out for a walk and happened to hear, that’s all, it wasn’t intentional."
Mu Yunlie didn’t believe it, his eyes darkening.
Nangong Xiaoxue anxiously said, "Ah Lie, you’re usually so clever, how can you be so foolish when it cos to matters of the heart? This isn’t right!"
Nangong Jie concurred, "Indeed, too foolish."
