After Tony issued this command, J.A.R.V.I.S. began synchronously controlling Stark Industries’ private satellites and SHIELD’s satellite system for joint guidance.
In total, there were over twenty satellites synchronized and orbiting in Earth’s near-space orbit under J.A.R.V.I.S.’s control. Moreover, each of these satellites had a thick, long alloy tube protruding from their center – these were laser emitters!
The fact that other countries and factions’ satellites lacked weapon systems did not an that Stark and SHIELD’s satellites lacked them as well. Earlier, SHIELD had already used the satellite weapon systems from the Damascus sword to strike against so terrorist factions on Earth.
Stark Industries’ private satellite system had also been developed, carrying not only super Iron Man chas but also so of the most advanced Earth-based weaponry.
Now, as Dormammu tangled with Lin Rui’s team and moved away from Tony and the others’ Spaceship, these twenty or so satellites seed to be the last line of defense.
However, Tony didn’t hold much hope for these satellites’ defense. After all, Dormammu had just swallowed two enhanced nuclear bombs, and as powerful as these laser attacks might be, they couldn’t possibly stop him.
“The ultimate defense has been activated, initiate now,” J.A.R.V.I.S. reported, controlling the satellites to begin their attack.
Pū Pū Pū Pū Pū!
As J.A.R.V.I.S.’s voice echoed within the E-Grade Spaceship, dozens of dazzling white laser beams shot from Earth’s near-space orbit toward the black mist that Dormammu had turned into as he rushed toward Earth!
During this nearly blinding assault of dozens of laser beams, Dormammu’s advance toward Earth showed no signs of stopping. The laser beams penetrated his black mist with little effect.
The interior of the black mist rolled briefly, then quickly returned to its initial state. Subsequently, Dormammu accelerated once again toward Earth, leaving the E-Grade Spaceship and the Milano further behind.
On Earth, leaders of various countries and factions who had been monitoring the situation in outer space thought that SHIELD had no way of stopping Dormammu.
However, they hadn’t anticipated the united laser beam attack from the satellites. Based on their analysis, the offensive weaponry equipped on these satellites could overwhelm any nation or faction on Earth.
So, at the mont when the laser beams were fired, they still held hope. Although these satellites posed a significant threat to any nation or faction on Earth, they were now facing a threat from outer space. Naturally, they had to address this external threat first. However, their hope was shattered at the next mont.
“Even this level of laser beam attack has no effect! Once he rushes into Earth, where can we escape to?” Watching the black mist remain unscathed under the laser beam assault, the leaders of various countries and factions couldn’t help but think the sa thing.
However, even though they were gradually losing hope, they still issued the necessary orders, and the military forces of various nations and factions began executing them ticulously.
Even if this operation to deal with the black mist was a suicide mission, they had to go through with it. Perhaps, the danger that SHIELD couldn’t stop would be resolved by them.
In the cosmic space outside Earth, Dormammu was getting closer and closer to the planet. Even if the satellites launched another laser beam attack, Dormammu would continue devouring.
At this mont, Dormammu was confident that once he entered Earth, a planet without the protection of powerful beings like the Ancient One, he could devour a continent in minutes and then consu the entire Earth.
Having road the Dark Dinsion for a long ti, Dormammu hadn’t completely devoured a vibrant, life-filled planet in ages. Furthermore, Earth wasn’t just an ordinary planet; Dormammu believed that his strength would undergo a trendous transformation after devouring it.
Perhaps, after devouring Earth with this extension of himself and dealing with those annoying “ants,” Dormammu would return and rge with his main form. By then, those formidable individuals who had held him back might not even be a match for him.
If he was lucky, Dormammu’s crossing into this world from another dinsion might yield significant gains.
“My summoner! Offer Earth to !” Dormammu’s expression on the large face ford by the black mist at the forefront of his advance toward Earth turned malevolent. Dormammu’s massive mouth opened and closed, emitting a buzzing roar.
While Dormammu issued his summons from space, on Earth, in a concealed location, Kaecilius, who had been severely injured by the Ancient One and was secretly healing, suddenly emanated thick waves of dark energy.
Kaecilius, who had been sitting cross-legged on the ground, healing his injuries, suddenly opened his eyes wide in the next mont. His eyes were almost entirely filled with dark energy.
“Dormammu!! You’ve finally co! Earth! I offer it to you!” Sensing the change in the dark energy within him, Kaecilius stood up suddenly, raised his head, and roared in anger.
anwhile, in a hidden location within the Himalayan Mountains, where the Earth sorcerers resided, Jack was anxiously negotiating with Wong.
After disappearing from the E-Grade Spaceship earlier and returning to Earth ahead of ti, Jack had been able to open a magical portal back to Earth as soon as he could see the planet from the ship.
“Since the Ancient One didn’t bring the Eye of Agamotto with him, then he must believe that soone here is qualified to use it! Now that Dormammu is about to arrive on Earth, if we continue to hide and not use it, Earth will truly be devoured!” Jack, blocked by Wong from entering the chamber where the Eye of Agamotto was kept, shouted with a stern and serious tone.
The reason Lin Rui didn’t allow Jack to go with them to intercept Dormammu was to allow him to return to Earth first and check whether the Ancient One had taken the Eye of Agamotto with them.
If they hadn’t, Lin Rui planned for Jack to persuade Wong to use the Eye of Agamotto’s powers to stop Dormammu. When Jack returned, he indeed found the Eye of Agamotto inside the chamber, but he was unable to persuade Wong to use it.
