Chapter 1088: Awkward
Lin Rui imdiately realized that the damaged window he saw was the result of Thor summoning Mj?lnir, which shattered the glass on the facing wall.
Thor had only cleaned up the ss but hadn’t thought about replacing the window, perhaps because he couldn’t afford to hire soone to do it. Besides, he didn’t dare to ntion it or contact the landlord, fearing a scolding.

Lin Rui wasn’t surprised by the result. When Mj?lnir was still in New xico, it had caused multiple power outages at a SHIELD research facility.
Now that Mj?lnir had returned to Thor’s possession, but he still couldn’t control it properly, even a slight release of its power was enough to cause significant damage in New York City, an international tropolis.
“What should we do? Won’t soone co after for this?!” Thor nervously walked to the window, his head extended to get a glimpse of the outside.

“Rest assured, nothing will happen. Your current identity is known not only to but also to SHIELD and Tony. Although this widespread power outage has caused so damage, nobody will co after you for it. SHIELD will handle it for you,” Lin Rui explained with a smile, seeing Thor’s perplexed and distrustful gaze.
Ever since the Dark Elves invaded Earth and Asgard dispatched powerful reinforcents, Thor’s identity had ceased to be a secret. As long as Thor didn’t engage in any wrongdoing on Earth, SHIELD could effectively resolve simple property damages like this.
“Really?” Thor released his grip on Lin Rui’s hand and continued to ask, still not entirely convinced.
“If you don’t believe , you can wait and see, or should I ask for you?” Lin Rui replied, sensing Thor’s lingering doubts.
Given Lin Rui’s familiarity with SHIELD, he could quickly receive a response by asking them.

In order to demonstrate SHIELD’s sincerity, Coulson assured Mirage Knight over the phone that they would resolve the situation. He had already arranged for SHIELD agents in New York to take care of it.
“Ah… Wasn’t Mirage Knight severely injured and unconscious just a few days ago? Why is he causing trouble as soon as he wakes up…” Coulson muttered helplessly while observing the busy activity of the elite agents in the headquarters.
