"Debora, let him go. You shouldn’t be acting this way in public."
When this voice rang out, there was a disappointed look that appeared on Debora’s face, but she still let go.
The owner of this voice was one of the few people in this world that would actually be able to talk Debora down.
The owner of this voice was Viscount Denoir, Debora’s father.
Once Debora released , I couldn’t help letting out a sigh of relief, but it was a bit too early for that.
After all, there was still Viscount Denoir that I had to face.
When he walked over, there was a frown that was on his face.
This frown wasn’t directed at Debora, but rather it was directed at .
With this look on his face, it was very clear how he felt about . Of course, I understood why he felt this way with the relationship between him and his daughter.
Simply put, he was a father that had no resistance to his daughter.
He was a father that just couldn’t help spoiling his daughter with whatever she wanted.
That was also why I had been able to et Debora in that far off town and how I had been able to save her to create this situation.
"Yulian Redmont." Viscount Denoir said after a long mont of silence.
But before I could say anything, Debora suddenly said, "Father, that’s rude. You can’t just call soone by their full na like this." Then in a gentler voice that was like the voice of a lovestruck girl, she said, "You should just call him Yulian since you’ll be seeing a lot of him in the future."
Another bitter smile appeared on my face when I heard this.
She didn’t even bother taking my thoughts into consideration when she said this.
Debora really was soone that was spoiled by her father in thinking that she could have whatever she wanted.
Though in this case, it wasn’t as if this was sothing that was impossible.
After all, Viscount Denoir was an ally of my father, but that didn’t an that he was weaker than my father.
They were allies because both of them belonged to the neutral faction, but there was a reason why Viscount Denoir was able to beco an ally instead of just an associate. It was all because of the power that he possessed even though he was a viscount.
Viscount Denoir stayed in the capital most of the ti because he was the head of a certain departnt.
This departnt was quite the important one in the kingdom, which ant that he was able to wield quite a bit of influence.
At the sa ti, Viscount Denoir was one of the few high class magicians in the kingdom.
With both of these identities, it could be said that he was even higher than Count Redmont in terms of power. Though he still had to lay low since he was a part of the neutral faction.
It was also because of this that I couldn’t treat either Viscount Denoir nor Debora poorly.
After another long mont of silence, Viscount Denoir said, "Yulian, co in and let’s have a little talk."
Another bitter feeling filled , but this ti I held it back from appearing on my face and just gave a simple nod in response.
Though she had been warned about coming too close to , it didn’t seem like Debora had any intentions of actually letting go with the way that she continued to cling onto my arm.
At least she didn’t get as close as before after her father had given her a warning, but she still did whatever she wanted.
This ti, her father also didn’t say anything.
It was clear that he was still spoiling her even though he had to go against his own words.
After entering the house, there was another voice that rang out.
"Debora, darling, what did I tell you about your bad habit?" This was a voice that seed to be exhausted as it gave a sigh after it finished saying this.
It was only then that Debora finally let go of my arm and I let out a sigh of relief.
This was the other person that could control Debora.
It was Viscountess Denoir, Debora’s mother.
Though based on her appearance, one might have thought that she was her sister rather than her mother. This was also ignoring the fact that Viscountess Denoir was actually older than her husband, Viscount Denoir.
There were rumours that she was a witch that had managed to keep herself from aging with a forbidden spell, but this wasn’t sothing that anyone could prove.
But the one thing that could be said was that Debora certainly got her beauty from Viscountess Denoir.
The two of them looked similar with their purple hair and purple eyes, but Viscountess Denoir had a much more mature look to her, as well as a fuller figure.
Not that I actually dared to look at her for too long.
Once she finished reprimanding Debora, Viscountess Denoir looked at with a smile before saying, "Yulian, it’s good to see you again. I already told you that you should visit again, but you’ve been keeping our Debora waiting for so long."
A bitter feeling filled once more since I had no idea what Viscountess Denoir was thinking.
Unlike her husband and daughter who were quite easy to read, it was hard to tell exactly what Viscountess Denoir was thinking through that smile of hers.
And that was why I was more afraid of her than I was of either her husband or her daughter.
"Debora, co and help prepare so snacks for our guest."
Debora looked unwilling to part, but she still followed her mother in the end.
At least for now, she could still be restrained.
Though I wasn’t left here alone.
Viscount Denoir narrowed his eyes to look at before saying, "Co into the living room. There’s sothing I want to talk to you about."
