Still, since it was a carbon copy...
"I guess I’ll try to set a world record on this run." I said to myself before pulling out the hero’s sword.
When the hero’s sword ca out, there was also sothing that ca out of the open door.
I didn’t hesitate at all to cut down the arrows that ca through the open door.
At the sa ti, it didn’t end with just a single swing.
I continued to swing the sword in front of as more and more of these arrows ca out at .
With how many of these arrows ca flying out, it really didn’t seem like there would be an end.
But I suddenly stopped swinging even though there were more arrows that were flying at .
Only these arrows didn’t reach in the end.
It was as if they suddenly ran out of montum while flying halfway through the air and started to dip down towards the ground. Before they could reach , they suddenly stabbed into the ground in front of .
I wasn’t surprised to see these arrows like this, but I also didn’t step forward even though I had said that I would be setting a world record.
"After the arrows should be..."
As if in a trance, I suddenly started swaying side to side even though there wasn’t anything that ca out of the door in front of . But that was only for a few seconds before more things ca out.
This ti, it wasn’t arrows that ca out.
This ti, it was a bunch of rocks that flew through the air.
It was only when these rocks flew through the air that I started moving forward.
With the swaying motion that I used, I was able to move out of the way of each of these rocks that ca at .
I could have swung my sword at the rocks, but it was easier to dodge out of the way rather than cutting them down like I had done with the arrows. The arrows were smaller and didn’t have as much weight to them, which ant that they were easier to cut.
Though I was strong enough to cut the rocks, it wasn’t as if the montum of the rocks would disappear. At the sa ti, the rocks were large and heavy, so cutting them would just create fragnts.
There was even the chance that my power with the hero’s sword would be enough to crack it if I cut these rocks down.
So instead of taking that risk, it was better to use this simple thod to move through them.
This was a tried and true thod that had been tested by many different players in the past. Since it was a thod that was based on experience, there was no way that it would fail.
Only in the middle of swaying back and forth while moving forward, I suddenly moved to the side a bit.
"That tile was left, right, right, and left."
There was a specific reason for to move like this.
That was because there were certain tiles on the ground that would set off more traps if I were to step on them. There was nothing to gain from stepping on them and it would only make the trial harder, so of course I would avoid these tiles.
While muttering to myself from ti to ti, I kept moving along this corridor.
As well, I would make so strange moves all of a sudden that really didn’t seem to make sense, but all of these moves were calculated.
Every ti I did sothing, it was to avoid a different trap.
At this point, it really was muscle mory since this was sothing I had done countless tis in the past.
The only thing that was different was...
"I can use wind magic to speed myself up in this part."
"If I use water magic to counter it, I should be able to skip this part."
"If I use earth magic, the barrier should allow to block everything since they’re just weak attacks."
I wasn’t just following the guide that I had from my past life, I was also making adaptations on the spot. I used the different magic spells that I received from my avatars to help skip certain parts in this trial.
As for what this trial was...It was a simple test of ability.
A hero should have a certain level of ability, which was exactly what this test was for.
As long as they were able to make it down this hall without being hard...well, that would be a bit too much. As long as they were able to make it down this hall without falling, it didn’t matter if they were injured along the way, they would pass this second trial.
But of course, it did matter how one passed the second trial since it was a trial of ability.
Those that could pass without a single hit would naturally receive a higher score.
At the sa ti, those that could pass this trial faster would naturally receive a much higher score as well.
With my old strats and my new strats...
"Damn! Did I really just cut off an entire ten minutes from this run?"
At this point, it didn’t matter if I fooled around in the last trial, I would still beat the world record like this.
I had only managed to cut off two minutes in the first trial, but I was able to cut off an entire ten minutes in the second trial.
That just went to show how much of a difference it made when I was able to make full use of my magic.
The first trial was just about running speed, the second trial was about adaptability to different traps and different spells ca into play there.
I couldn’t help looking down at my hands before saying, "I really am a busted character."
This was the awareness that I had as a player from another world.
