Against this holy magic, there really wasn’t anything that the bloody figure could do.

After a certain point, he even started begging for his life.

"We’re both demon kings, there’s no need for you to do this. If you spare , I’ll give you my power, I swear! I’ll even serve you if you let go!"

In a way, this didn’t seem like the demon king that had once caused a slaughter all through the demon race. This seed like a pathetic demon that was now begging for his life because he was in danger.

But I understood why he did this.

He was a fragnt soul, so it wasn’t as if he would last long like this.

If he didn’t find a body, it was only a matter of ti before he disappeared for good.

Death was a terrifying thing.

At the sa ti, these were the exact sa lines from the ga.

From everything that I had encountered, it seed that there were many things that drew from the ga.

It really made wonder if this was a world that was based on the ga or if this was the world of the ga. And if this was the world of the ga, what did it an that there had been a ga about this world in my past life?

Well, that didn’t matter right now.

"No. You should know how it is for demons, do you really think that I would trust you?" I said with a teasing smile on my face.

The bloody figure quickly said, "No, you can trust , I promise. I’ll even give you my soul essence as long as you spare ."

But I just looked at him with a smile on my face.

This smile showed that I clearly didn’t trust him.

"No, no, it can’t end like this! How could my life end like this! I am the great demon king!" The bloody figure shouted while waving his hand as if he was trying all that he could to stop this from happening.

But there really wasn’t a thing that he could do.

This bloody figure was nothing more than a remaining fragnt of Demon King Balcor’s soul.

Even if Demon King Balcor had once been the demon king, he didn’t have the sa power. With just a fragnt of his soul, what he could demonstrate was only a fragnt of the power that he once possessed.

That was also with the help of this trial as well.

If it wasn’t for this place that he prepared, then he really wouldn’t have been able to do anything.

However, what he didn’t know was that I had weakened it.

This trial location was built up with different spells, but they combined into sothing that gave Demon King Balcor power. However, the fact that it was made of different spells made that this was a weakness.

It ant that there were different cores that these spells were connected to.

Normally, these spells would be used to run the different trials.

That was why the cores were in these trials.

The first trial, the spell that was there drew power from the bloody corpses to provide Demon King Balcor with energy.

Once I destroyed that arena and sent the bloody corpses into the abyss, it moved out of the range of the spell and it could no longer draw on the power of those bloody corpses.

The second spell relied on the suffering of those demons.

But I freed them from their suffering with what I did and removed their blood essence, which was why it was drastically weakened.

The third spell drew on the power of the Hell Hound.

However, I took the Hell Hound with , so that completely ruined the spell.

Everything had been done on purpose.

And that was part of the reason why Demon King Balcor couldn’t wait any longer.

If he waited longer, he would beco weaker and weaker after all.

But this was still enough for to take him down with my holy magic.

"Just accept your death." I said in a calm voice.

The bloody figure seed to react when he heard this before saying, "Let tell you my story! I promise that you’ll change your mind if you hear my story!"

I just raised my hand and pointed it at the bloody figure while releasing the sa holy magic, but I didn’t raise the power of it to finish him off.

Seeing this, the bloody figure said, "I was the seventh born of...NO!"

He didn’t get further than this as I suddenly increased the power of the holy magic.

Demon King Balcor had relaxed his guard a bit since he thought he would have a chance. So when he was hit head on by this increased holy magic, he really couldn’t resist at all and was instantly purified.

In the end, there was only regret that was on his mind.

If he had chosen to work with this new demon king from the beginning and been truthful...then would there have been a chance?

"No, that’s not how we demons do it." That was the last thought in Demon King Balcor’s mind.

After Demon King Balcor had been purified, the bloody figure disappeared without a trace.

The only thing that was left behind was sothing that dropped onto the ground.

A smile appeared on my face the mont that I saw this before I walked over to pick it up.

This was the item that I had co all this way for.

This was the item that would help beco much stronger than I currently was.

Picking it up, I looked it over before bringing it to my wrist and snapping it on.

I didn’t even need to appraise it to know what it was since I had already obtained it many tis in the ga.

This item was the Sanguine Bracelet, it was a guaranteed drop from Demon King Balcor.

That was why there was no chance that I would have spared him.
