Once I arrived, the first thing that I did was give another order.
"Prepare the piles."
The soldiers didn’t waste any ti bringing in the things that I ordered them to bring in.
The mont that the demons saw these things, their expressions couldn’t help sinking.
After all, they recognized these things with just a single glance. They knew that these were the things that had caused them to be in this situation in the first place.
These humans...they just didn’t stop using their tricks.
Even now, they were still doing the sa things as before.
It really was hard to tell which one of them were the demons with the way that the humans acted.
The demons didn’t want to see them doing the sa thing, but it wasn’t as if they could charge out of the castle either.
Even though so ti had passed, it wasn’t as if the effects of the poison that they suffered from had completely disappeared. If they were to charge out and fight, the only thing that would happen is that they would be overwheld by the humans.
But it wasn’t as if they could just let the humans do whatever they wanted
They had to figure out sothing...
"Follow !"
There was a voice that ca from the side of the demons before flas suddenly appeared. From those flas, there was a figure that jumped down out of the castle along with a few other figures following behind.
These figures seed to be covered in flas, but there was also sothing different about their bodies.
When one looked closely, they could see that there was so kind of strange liquid that was flowing in their skins.
This seed to be a red liquid that wasn’t the sa as blood.
In fact, it seed like it was too light to be blood and it seed like it was even glowing a bit.
What was under their skins was lava.
The identity of these figures was that they were a group of lava demons, one of the special types of demons that had co with this invasion force. They were a tribe that was far stronger than the rest of the rank and file demons.
That was why when they showed themselves, the rest of the demons seed like they were filled with morale. It seed like they believed that these lava demons would be able to change the tide of the battle.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The mont that these lava demons landed, they suddenly saw smoke coming from under them.
Or it was better to say that it was steam that appeared under them.
This steam quickly filled the area around the lava demons and soon covered up their line of sight.
The lava demons had no idea where this smoke ca from, but they didn’t seem to have any fear as flas burst out around them.
If there was one thing to admire about these lava demons, it was how they didn’t seem to have any fear at all.
Well, that and the fact that the lava that flowed inside of them really was hot. It actually seed like it beca hotter depending on the mood of the lava demons.
At this mont, they were enraged that the enemy in front of them was ssing with them.
But I certainly wasn’t ssing with them.
I was the one that was responsible for the steam that appeared after the lava demons landed. As for what it was that had caused the steam, it was ice that had appeared under the lava demons.
Before they landed, I created a thick layer of ice where they would land.
With the heat that ca from the lava demons, it was only natural that they would lt the ice and create this steam.
But this wasn’t all that I had planned.
After the ice, I created a large stream of water around myself that I threw at the lava demons.
One might think that it wasn’t a good idea to throw water at demons that were made of lava since they would just turn this water into steam. This steam would hide the lava demons and would burn anyone that was around them.
This would seem like it would only help the lava demons rather than helping the humans.
But that wasn’t the case this ti.
After the water surrounded the lava demons, there was an intense chill that filled the air.
Even though the heat of the lava demons had been heating up the water and turning it into smoke, there was sothing else that appeared that froze all of the water in an instant.
Even with the lava demons in the water, it didn’t seem like they could stop the water from freezing like this.
It seed like there was nothing that the lava demons could do against this chill.
Once they were frozen, it seed like the lava inside of them had cooled down and turned into a solid.
Once the lava cooled, it was as if the very blood of these lava demons had stopped flowing with how they went into hibernation.
The last thing that they could do was reveal a look as if they couldn’t believe what happened.
It wasn’t just the lava demons or even the demons in the castle that couldn’t believe what happened. Even the humans that had been watching this had looks of disbelief on their faces.
The ones that had the most intense reactions were the ones that were by the one that did this.
"How did you do that?" One of them asked.
However, all I said was, "Does that matter right now? Get everything ready so we can take care of the demons."
The soldiers slowly ca back to their senses and went to follow their orders again.
The demons also ca back to their senses and realized the danger that they were in.
That was why there was another group that suddenly ca out of the castle.
