Seeing that I wasn’t responding to the order, it seed that the one who gave it beca more agitated.
"What are you doing? Listen to my orders now!"
Once again, I just ignored him as I looked right at the two cloaked figures.
Seeing the way that I looked at them, the two of them couldn’t help taking a step back.
The other cloaked figure asked, "Isn’t there sothing wrong with this lich? What did you do when you were creating it?"
The first cloaked figure didn’t respond as he continued looking right at .
Finally, he said, "It’s a failure. It’s a good thing that I put a self destruct spell on its phylactery just in case."
As soon as his voice fell, he raised his hand and pointed it at . Only there seed to be a trace of hesitation in his actions when he did this, as if he couldn’t bear to do it.
That mont of hesitation was what I seized to attack.
If they were going to destroy , it wasn’t as if I would just let them do that.
Flas gathered as I pointed my finger which was now all bone at the cloaked figures.
It was just that I wasn’t able to cast this spell in ti.
One was a fireball spell and the other was a magic array that had already been engraved, so it was clear which one would activate first.
There was this feeling of pain that ca from inside of that made lose concentration of the spell that I was gathering. Once I lost concentration, the flas that had been gathered started to break up.
"Ha, ha, ha, trying to harm your master! You’re nothing more than a failure that I can destroy at any ti!" The cloaked figure said while laughing like he had a sense of superiority.
It was as if he was enjoying the fact that he held the life and death of a being that was superior to him in the palm of his hand.
The problem was that it didn’t actually happen.
There was this feeling of pain that ca from deep inside of , but that only lasted a few seconds before disappearing. In fact, the feeling of pain was like a sharp jolt that ca at first before slowly disappearing.
So that pain didn’t actually last that long in the first place.
The cloaked figure also seed to realize this as he could tell that there was sothing off about the magic array that he was activating.
"Why is my connection being cut off? What is happening here?"
"Ha, ha, ha, you thought that you could control ? Now it’s ti to pay." I said as I raised my finger once more and started gathering the flas.
The two cloaked figures naturally knew that sothing was wrong and imdiately turned as if they wanted to run, but there was nothing that they could do.
However, was it that easy to run from a spell like this?
All they could do was release their own magic barriers in an attempt to stop the flas from reaching them.
The mont that the flas made contact, there was no resistance at all.
The magic barriers just simply couldn’t go against the flas that hit them and were wiped away along with the two cloaked figures.
There were looks of regret and confusion that were in the eyes of these cloaked figures as they were engulfed in the flas.
It was just too bad that there was no dicine for regret.
After killing those cloaked figures, the first thing that I did was connect with the other three.
After all, I wanted to know what had happened to .
"We don’t know either. We just found that you were dead and then you ca back to life."
"So none of you were watching when they kidnapped ?"
"Are we supposed to babysit you? We have our own lives to live."
The one that I really wanted to call out was the main body since as far as I knew, he was living the life of a mob noble. I knew that he was having fun with the twin maids and even more than that...
"Then what about the self destruct magic array? What stopped that?"
"I assu it’s our combined willpower and mana control that allowed us to resist that self destruct magic array. But if you want a more detailed description, I really couldn’t give you one since I have no idea either."
In the end, since they didn’t know anything, it was better for to search this area.
But to the main body, I said, "Help check out my skills now that I’ve beco a lich."
Since he wasn’t doing anything anyway, he might as well help him check out the new skills.
Though I knew what the main body really wanted to do.
It was the middle of the night and there was a soft bed with cute girls in it.
After tossing this matter to the main body, I started looking around the room.
Or it was better to call this a cave since we were inside of a cave in the middle of nowhere.
Once I took the scope of the cave, I couldn’t help revealing a bitter smile.
"Perhaps I shouldn’t have used flas..." I couldn’t help muttering to myself as I used water to put out the flas.
This cave had been filled with many different things. The one thing that it was most filled with were papers.
So that ant that the flas had actually burned most of the paper that was here...
How was I supposed to figure out anything now that I had destroyed all of these things?
