"How did you find this place?" Elder Arun couldn’t help asking this after I led him here.

I just calmly said, "I found it after reading sothing that was in the safe in the baron’s study."

Elder Arun narrowed his eyes to look at before saying with a sigh, "I knew that you were acting too well behaved..." He then shook his head as if he was dealing with a naughty kid.

But in the end, he looked around the cave at the corpses that were laying all over the ground.

So of the corpses were burned, but there was one that was left in good condition.

That was the corpse of the demon that was right in the center of the cave.

Other than this, there was a pile of corpses that were in the corner of this cave that everyone seed to be ignoring. That was because they could tell with a single glance that this was a pile of victims that had been piled here.

With the way that their bodies were, it was easy to tell what had happened to them.

"So after discovering this place, did you take care of these people?" Yulian suddenly asked this question.

Elder Arun imdiately narrowed his eyes to look at Yulian, but Yulian didn’t care about Elder Arun as he looked right at while waiting for an answer.

After a mont of silence, I gave a slow nod before adding, "I know that you won’t believe , but all I can say is that I didn’t see a single thing that happened here. When I arrived, it was already like this. I knew that it was dangerous to remain here any longer on my own, so I called the others over."

Elder Arun suddenly supported by saying, "I believe him."

Yulian and I both felt embarrassed when we heard Elder Arun say this.

It was supposed to be a back and forth between and Yulian so that we could establish that we didn’t have any relation to each other.

But when Elder Arun cut in like this, it made both of us feel awkward...

In the end, Yulian just said, "I believe you, it’s just that this is a serious issue for our Abel Kingdom."

The other humans looked like they wanted to stop him, but Yulian raised his hand to stop them before saying, "As you can see, our Abel Kingdom has had so problems with the demons. However, it seems like they’re also starting to involve you elves in this matter."

Elder Arun and I imdiately knitted our brows before looking at each other.

In the end, Elder Arun said, "This is sothing that we have to discuss with the other elders of the Verdant Forest. It isn’t sothing that I can decide on all on my own."

Yulian gave a nod before saying, "I just hope that you will convey our sincerity in this matter."

Elder Arun looked at the demon corpse on the ground one more ti before giving a nod.

Once that matter was settled, the only thing that was left to do was to take care of the things that were in this cave.

Yulian just led us into the back of the cave to let Elder Arun take a look at the different things that were back there. After all, there were so things that ca from the territory of the elves.

If the humans were to confiscate it, there was no telling what they would do with it.

The way that Elder Arun looked at Yulian changed when he saw this.

At least this showed sincerity more than just so words.

And to show so sincerity back, there were a few things that Elder Arun left even though they ca from the elven territory. These were items that weren’t as valuable to the elves that could be given to the humans.

That was his way of showing sincerity to the humans that had helped them take care of these elven slavers.

With both sides showing sincerity like this, it really seed like the future was bright.

Other than this, there was the matter of the female corpses that were left in a pile.

"Since they were humans, please let us handle them. We’ll try our best to identify who they were and give them a proper burial, as well as contact their next of kin."

Since they were humans, it wasn’t as if the elves could actually take these corpses.

So Elder Arun just gave a simple nod in response.

Though as he looked at the corpses, he couldn’t help feeling that there was sothing strange about them.

They were simply too neat to be corpses that had been defiled...

It was as if soone had cleaned them up before they had left this place.

The person that had killed the demon...it seed like he was soone that cared about doing what was right if he would spend this ti cleaning up the corpses like that. So at the very least, it didn’t seem like they were an enemy...

Though it also didn’t an that they were a friend either...

Just who was it that had done this?

It wasn’t hard to tell that this was what Elder Arun was thinking based on the expression on his face.

But it wasn’t as if the two of us would expose ourselves like this.

As for the female corpses that had cleaned up, that was done by us before we left this place.

That was the least that we could do for them.

Now it was all about how the king of the Abel Kingdom would react after all of this.

Though it was a bit risky for Yulian to make these decisions on his own, it was still the best choice here.

At most, he would just receive a demotion for acting on his own.

But if the king and ministers of the Abel Kingdom were smart, then they would know what to do.
