"Brr, it’s so cold..."

"Stop complaining, you’re just making it worse..."

"Why are we even in this place?"

I didn’t say anything while my party complained, but I did second their complaints.

However, I had a different reason for coming here, so it wasn’t as if I was going to succumb to the complaints.

There were two others that didn’t succumb to the complaints either.

One of them was the third princess of the Abel Kingdom, Andrea.

She couldn’t complain like the rest of them because she was part of the people that had sent us here in the first place.

As the hero, it was only natural that we would receive missions from the Abel Kingdom and the church for the prosperity of the human race. This was one of those missions that we had been sent on.

So it was only natural that Andrea would be focused on completing this mission.

The other one that was focused was Amy.

Though the reason that she was focused on the mission was for a different reason compared to Andrea.

The reason that she was focused was for soone else’s sake.

"We need to complete this mission without a single problem, so stop complaining." Amy said to the party, but I could tell that her eyes were looking at .

That was because her reason for completing this mission was to help establish my reputation.

As a hero, it was only natural that my reputation would be at stake when it ca to completing this mission.

But for , there was a completely different reason.

"Alright, let’s see if we can find where these monsters are hiding." Instead of complaining with them, I had everyone get ready to search.

Though when they heard this, it was clear that they weren’t excited about doing this. Especially since there was a blizzard that was currently happening outside this cabin.

It was already this cold inside of the cabin, so it was hard to imagine what it would be like on the outside.

But at the sa ti, it wouldn’t work if we delayed for too long.

The monster that we had been sent here to deal with was one that only showed up in blizzard conditions like this. So if we wanted to find the monster, then the only thing that we could do was head out while the blizzard raged on.

It looked like they weren’t happy about this, but there was nothing that they could do about it in the end since they knew that I was right.

But after searching for a while, I suddenly said, "We should split up and cover more ground. If we keep trying to search in a group like this, the only thing that will happen is that it would escape before we could find it.

"Everyone knows how to contact each other, we’ve already planned this out. If we waste too much ti, it’ll escape from our grasp and it will hurt even more people."

This ti, they couldn’t act as calm as before.

After all, we had seen the devastation that this monster had left.

That cabin that we had been in was one of those scenes.

"Alright, we’ll spread out. But you have to be careful." Amy was the one that said this before Andrea nodded in agreent.

However, it was clear by the looks on their faces that they were still hesitating when it ca to this matter. It didn’t seem like they wanted to split up since they were worried about .

But in the end, they split up since they said that they would.

After splitting up from the rest of the group, I didn’t waste any ti in tracking down the monster.

"Roar!"

Though it wasn’t using human words, it was easy to tell what this monster was saying based on its actions.

"Who are you and how did you find ?"

I didn’t waste any ti with the monster as I quickly cut down all of the attacks that it used against .

This monster was a yeti, a special kind of monster that lived in snowy areas like this mountain. It had a natural affinity for ice magic, so all of the attacks that it used against were ice elent based.

But none of these icicles could even approach in the face of the flas that I created.

That was because the concentration of mana in our spells were completely different. And at the sa ti, there was sothing else that was special about the flas that I used.

"Pyro, surround it."

As soon as I said this, the flas that had been around suddenly surged forward and created a wall of flas around the yeti.

This wall of flas almost seed alive with the way that it moved.

So much so that the yeti really couldn’t do anything to escape from these walls of flas.

When it was surrounded like this, I couldn’t help shaking my head with a bitter smile before saying, "Isn’t this a bit too easy?"

This yeti was supposed to be an early ga boss, but it really didn’t feel like that at all. With how easily I was handling this yeti, it was as if it was nothing more than a common mob.

The power that I possessed really was too broken...

"Well, it’s not as if this yeti is a good thing. Let’s end this."

With a single wave of my hand, the fla walls that had been around the yeti suddenly collapsed in around it.

The yeti did what it could to try and block it with its ice magic, but it couldn’t do a thing against these raging flas. The flas were just too strong for the ice to stop and it soon collapsed in on the yeti, completely engulfing it in flas.

I didn’t bother watching the yeti burn to death.

Instead, I walked off and looked around before saying, "If I rember correctly, it should be in this direction."

Though it was hard to tell since I was surrounded by a blizzard.
