Alex sighed and nodded. He looked at the reaper and shot his gun towards its head. He wanted to make every shot count, so Alex shot towards the injured areas of the reaper.
The tactic seed to work and the bullets had penetrated the reaper's wounds even deeper. The reaper roared in pain but it didn't slow down. It rushed towards Alex as it no longer had to fear the barrage of bullets from the rifle. The reaper slashed its blade at Alex, Not even giving him ti to breathe properly. Alex dodged the attacks as much as he could but the flurry of attacks was too much for him to completely co out unhard from.
The reaper also seed to be faster than he has expected. 'Must be the anger that made him speed up but still, I didn't expect him to be so quick. And that weapon is also extrely shart. As soon as it touched my clothes, it just ripped into pieces.' Alex thought as he saw his clothes get torn apart.
However, The next attack got Alex in a pinch. The reaper suddenly jumped forward, completely pushing Alex to the wall. At this mont, there was no distance between Alex and the reaper. And as he was pushed into the wall, Alex felt an imnse pressure on his body, being crushing my the reaper's body.
The reaper seed to enjoy crushing Alex and put more pressure, however the wall gave in and Alex fell into the building behind him. He looked around and jumped backward, creating distance from him and the reaper.
'I hope Hades' plan goes well.' Alex thought as he shot towards the reaper more. The plan that hades had for Alex was simple, Make ti. As much ti as possible but don't run far from the reaper. 'I need to stay a certain distance close to the reaper but also make as much ti as possible. After so ti, he will tell and what I need to do is jump towards the reaper and carefully shoot it between its head'
The plan sounded simple but the confusing part for Alex was what hades had said after that, 'He told not to worry about him after I kill the reaper and that he would be back soon enough. Does that an that he would disappear for so ti? Use his remaining power to help against this thing? I don't understand at all But if that is the case then I will have to do as much as I can in my power to prevent that.' Alex's eyes turned red.
He ca to the conclusion that Hades would use its own power when fighting against the reaper, exhausting itself in the battle against the reaper and being unable to do speak or communicate with Alex after. And this conclusion seed to be correct seeing that Hades didn't even reply or comnt on anything that Alex was doing so far.
Alex's mind slowly turned blank, there was no other thought but only one goal. Kill the reaper.
His grip tightened as Alex jumped to the ceiling of the building, breaking through to the roof. Alex was trying to get the reaper into an open space. Once he jumped to the roof, Alex ran from roof to roof, through the deserted town, Searching for the best place to continue the battle.
Alex looked back at the reaper as watched as it ran towards Alex. Its armor was slowing it down but now, It seed to have dropped so of its armors and was running at an even quicker speed. Slightly surprised, Alex ran at a quicker pace.
It felt heavy to run but the thought of completing his objective was kept Alex running. He shot more bullets towards the reaper, this ti hurting it even more so due to its lack of armor. Alex looked at the reaper and jumped to the road.
The place was at the center of the town and was open. Alex pressed the small button at the side of the gun to extrude the daggers and jumped towards the reaper. Nothing in his mind but kill.
His eyes glowed even more as Alex felt a surge of power. This random surge of power was also noticed by the reaper as it slowed down and readied itself for impact.
*ARGH!* The reaper grunted as Alex stabbed it in the chest and in the back. However, even with those two stabs, the reaper seed to be unaffected except for the initial pain it received. Alex however hadn't given up, he jumped back and then stabbed the reaper even more.
He continued to stab it as much as he could while dodging all incoming attacks from the reaper. The attacks did take a toll on the reaper but it kept on attacking back at Alex. It seed like the reaper did not care if it was being attacked, It only had one thing in mind, Kill Alex.
It seed to be the sa for Alex as well, He didn't think of anything else but to kill the reaper.
After a few minutes of non stop attacks being hurled back and forward, The reaper suddenly stopped. It seed to have sensed sothing and suddenly jumped backwards, Looking all around the city. Sothing was amyss.
However, Alex didn't let the reaper's distraction go. As soon as he got the opportunity, Alex continued to slash the reaper, this ti at its neck, dealing a considerable amount of damage. The reaper stumbled back, holding its neck. It looked at Alex in fear and then turned to the town once more. Sothing else was out there that made the reaper scared. However, Alex didn't notice that at all, All he had on his mind was to kill the reaper. And so he continued.
This ti, his attacks all went for the kill. Alex jumped to the reaper, stabbing it in the heart and then at its knees. Alex then continued to the reaper's neck, slicing its head off completely. After a small bit of silence, the reaper's body fell to the floor, it's head in Alex's hands.
