Alex was once again in a state of shock. 'So that ans that I can just summon gates and get stronger that way That seems almost weirdly powerful, the ability to summon gates where reapers co from.' He thought. It was true, that ability was extrely powerful if used correctly and could even terrorize countries if used with bad intent.
'That's where the catch cos from. The use of this ability seems to be limited to only appearing if you take care of the reapers. And no harm is done to the people who are affected by the reapers that co from the gate. That's why I told you to summon at a rural place. That way, we don't need to risk anyone from getting hurt. I don't know what the repercussion is if you let soone get hurt or break the rules but it can be almost anything looking at what this thing is capable of so it better to be safe than sorry.' Hades explained. Alex nodded when he heard Hades's explanation.
"Hana?" Ryan was sitting in his office chair. He seed to be confused at the mont as he looked at Hana who was standing in front of the door. She looked at Ryan with a cold stare and spoke, "I suggest leaving the guy alone from any weird questions. I've already questioned him when I t him and There is no answer to your questions I know you're going to ask him anyways but I think I need to at least prepare you for the lack of answers you will get. Once again, after six months, I will still attest to his character and say that he will be of no harm to us or the organization." She said with a slightly threatening tone.
Ryan took a deep breath and shrugged. He looked tired and overworked. "Hana, It's just my job to question soone who disappeared for so long into thin air and appear out of thin air once again. We even assud he was dead but here we are. Don't worry, we won't harm him but I will need so form of an answer. Those higher ups are still on my damn back about what happened to the potential S rank in the country. It seed like they had sothing planned for him once he was stronger but it was cut due to Alex's disappearance." He explained.
Hana nodded and walked out of the door, "I can't do anything to them unfortunately, I would have if I wasn't trapped by those bastards. But my situation is already this dire so I'll leave that to you. Just ca here to told you that we can trust him, take my word for it." She spoke as she walked away.
Ryan sighed once again and picked up his phone, "I guess I'll need to call Master Zhun He isn't in the best health right not but he's still healthy enough to live for long." He spoke as he dialed a number.
"Master Zhun Hana just ca and talked to . She still attests to Alex's characters and told us not to be harsh on the questioning I don't know what's going on and the work from the previous project has already been stressful, I don't know what to do right now. My focus is all over the place so I require so help in this. He will be here soon and I'm sure you're interested in hearing about what happened so, could you co by my office?" Ryan said in a tired tone.
He looked outside the window as he put down the phone and took a deep breath. "The military, A weird guy that appeared out of thin air through a gate, then disappeared and then appeared once again but in thin air, Those damn terrorists and this new serum that's going around criminals What the hell do I focus on?" Ryan smiled as he looked at his stressed-out face reflected back on the window.
After so ti, The doors to his office opened and an old man walked in. It was master Zhun but he didn't look as energetic as before. His eyes were sunken and his face seed to have so more wrinkles. However, the sparks in his eyes weren't gone yet. He looked at Ryan and laughed, "Ryan, take a break every now and then. I never had to take care of jobs like this when I was in charge but I can feel the stress from you" He also walked to the window and smiled.
As Ryan was about to reply, He saw a taxi park by the building and a man with long brown hair exit it.
Alex exited a taxi and looked at the huge building in front of him. He took a deep breath and walked into the building. 'It feels like only a few days have passed since I've co here but to think that it's more than six months I wonder what Master Zhun and Ryan will say to now that I'm back I'm pretty sure that I'll be questioned about it thoroughly I did just suddenly disappear without a word.' He smiled awkwardly as he walked to the reception.
However, as soon as Alex reached the reception, a loud bang ca from behind him. Alex quickly turned back and saw that there was a gate that had appeared. A few reapers slowly walked out of the gate.
"Why Why always the wrong ti." Alex whined as he walked outside. He knew his job was to clear the gate and kill the reapers but he wanted to take a proper break until he talked to Ryan.
'Kid, This one wasn't It just seems like your luck isn't so good. You'll have to deal with this gate all on your own also, It seems. The two powerful ones have their eyes on your right now. Why not show off to them?' Hades seed to be enjoying himself.
Alex rolled his eyes and put his hands on his guns. He was ready for another battle.
