Oj walked around the factory with caution, He was already surprised by the huge machines inside but now all he felt was concern. 'I should have brought a proper cara for now, my phone can take these images but the low-quality pictures during lack of light has made it difficult I can't use the flash so I guess for now, I can only just take images and apologize for the lack of quality later.' He said to himself.
After searching around, Oj finally made it to the office. He quickly entered and went through the docunts. After going through every possible suspects nas, Oj exited the room and headed towards the exit. 'That was surprisingly easy but I do have a lot of concerns right now' He walked out of the factory to see a flashlight fall on him.
He looked at the source and saw that a soldier was entering the factory for his break. Oj quickly jumped into action to take out the soldier but he was a split second late and the soldier shot his gun once. It didn't hit Oj but it did alert everyone in the area around the factory.
"Shit" Oj knocked out the soldier and ran into the forest. His job was done so all he had to do was escape. After over half an hour of running, Oj finally seed to be in the clear. He hid in the trees as he took a breather.
His mind was not resting however, Oj thought, 'It doesn't make sense Why did the military allow us to sneak into their factory when it was filled with other secret weapons I was curious and looked into their products as well and I saw more than just emps There were huge explosives, anti energy bombs, and much more there were also many experintal weapons there and yet they allowed us to sneak in.' He couldn't think of a proper reason.
Oj shook his head and walked towards the car, He was safe for now and knew that they couldn't find him anymore. He hopped in the car and opened his phone, and called Ryan. 'I can't let this thing bug right now. I'll Only be thinking about this if my questions aren't answered.' Oj looked slightly annoyed.
Ryan picked up and laughed, "I already heard about so commotion happening The search is still happening but if you're calling now, It ans you're in the safe zone" He spoke slowly. Oj scratched his head and spoke, "I was lucky that they weren't that ready for an attack. There were more people but because of that, many just slacked off so I was able to get in easier. But while exiting, I was distracted by certain thoughts which made call you as well." He said directly.
Ryan looked serious and spoke, "And what might those thoughts be?" Oj smiled and explained everything that he saw. He also spoke about how he felt and about his confusion about the entire thing.
Hearing Oj, Ryan smiled, "You're the leading healer for a reason. Very cautious Indeed, we were aware that they would have hidden machines and weapons in the factory so when that general said that we could get a hold of the docunts if we could sneak in, I was surprised myself But I think that's their way to scare us and to tell us that they aren't weak and that they have weapons of their own What did they call it?" After a pause, he continued, "Mind Gas."
Oj sighed when he heard Ryan's words. He looked at the sky and spoke, "I really don't want to do this anymore. I wanted a few new jobs but I think I'll just stick to non combat for now I feel like any ti I get involved with this, so form of politics sneaks in."
Ryan smiled even wider when he heard Oj. He looked out of his office window and laughed, "That's because you're smart that you can relate these things. A Human's stupidity can go far Many wouldn't have even asked this question if they were sent to investigate yet you asked imdiately. Oj, once you get stronger, You might be the top contender for the Leading Position of the bureau But that's out of the topic. For now, I think the sa as well. Having you strictly on healing has been amazing for us as well. So many awakened have been injured lately that the ones with healing abilities can't keep up so your help is the best for us. I wanted you to have so action because I felt like we were limiting you to the back of the battlefield but it seems like It is better for you to stick back and heal. You won't be on the bench for too long though, Your combat abilities will also be required soon. I know that." Ryan said in a serious tone as he ended the call.
He picked up a cigarette and lit it. "I don't usually smoke but It's tis like these when stress levels reach the maximum Midnight and Imani ca back with disturbing news and the military seems to be trying to put indirect pressure on us. The brotherhood also seems to be adding more pressure on us as well. It's a three-way stress inducer and I'm the target." Ryan looked at his desk and put out the cigarette.
"I can't smoke just yet I have a job to do as well. I'll try to get to the end of this no matter what so the ones in the frontline can relax." He felt more motivated.
