Savra walked into the hall where Zain was seated.
She leaned casually against one of the pillars, her eyes sharp and playful.
"By the way, Zain," she said, her tone light but her smile edged with aning.
"When I went hunting today, I ran into people from the stronghold."
Zain looked up, his crimson gaze steady."I see. And what happened?"
Savra twirled a fla between her fingers, smirking. "I told them to go back to their leaders."
"I told them the Devil Nest now belongs to us, and if they want to live, they should leave."
Zain’s lips curled into a small smile. "Bold, as always. But it won’t be that easy."
"The stronghold has really strong Supres stationed there. They won’t walk away just because you said so."
Savra laughed softly and flicked the fla into the air. "Then let them stay."
"If they refuse to leave, we fight them. The Heavenly Demon Sect is not weak anymore."
Zain nodded slowly, leaning back on his throne. "Indeed. Which is why I’ll give you both a task."
His eyes shifted between Savra and Velra. "You two will go et the Supres directly."
"Tell them to leave the Devil Nest, or prepare for war."
Velra, sitting lazily on the armrest of Zain’s throne, straightened and grinned.
"Oh? Finally, so fun. I was getting bored watching the new girls train. A Supre will make for a nice warm-up."
Savra smirked, crossing her arms. "Supre or not, I’ll burn anyone who thinks they can take what’s ours."
Zain’s smile widened. "Good. Both of your strengths are already at the Supre level."
"It won’t be easy for anyone to counter you. Even if you don’t win outright, you’ll make them understand our power."
Zelia, who had been standing near the training area, stepped forward, her sword resting on her shoulder.
"Zain, I’ll remain here. If you’re focusing on upgrading the girls’ abilities, soone must guard the sect."
"If the stronghold dares to attack while you’re busy, I’ll cut them down."
Zain looked at her and gave a single nod."Very well. Then it’s settled."
Savra cracked her knuckles, her eyes gleaming with excitent. "Velra, looks like we’re partners for this mission."
Velra flicked her whip to the side with a smirk. "Partners? Hah. Try to keep up."
"I don’t want to do all the work while you play around."
Savra chuckled, fire dancing across her hand. "Don’t worry. I’ll leave so scraps for you."
Zain rose from his throne, his crimson aura flaring for a brief mont as he looked at them. "Go."
"Show them what the Heavenly Demon Sect truly is."
Velra and Savra nodded in unison.
With a final glance at Zain, they turned and walked toward the gate leading out of the sect.
Zain sat back down, his eyes narrowing as he looked at the training grounds filled with new mbers.
"Now... It’s ti to raise their strength. A sect of thousands must be more than numbers."
Zelia tightened her grip on her sword, her calm eyes scanning the horizon.
"No one will touch this place while you work. I swear it."
---
Savra and Velra moved swiftly through the Devil Nest, cutting straight toward the stronghold that guarded the Core.
The closer they ca, the more walls and runes appeared, pulsing faintly with protective ether.
Soldiers on the walls spotted them and shouted warnings, but neither woman slowed.
When they reached the gates, Savra’s voice rang out, sharp and playful.
"Leaders of this stronghold, co out and et us!"
Velra cracked her whip against the ground, the sound echoing like thunder.
"The Infernal Demon and the Velvet Demon have arrived. Don’t bother hiding inside."
The entire stronghold stirred. Guards scrambled to the walls, their weapons raised nervously.
Inside the main hall, the four Supres looked up in shock.
The Beastman Supre’s ears twitched, and he growled. "Tch. Already? They ca faster than I thought."
The Hero Supre frowned, standing from his chair.
"We only just finished agreeing to talk with them. Yet they’re already here at our gates."
The Mage Supre tapped her staff against the ground, her eyes narrowing.
"They must have been watching us. Or perhaps... they simply don’t fear us."
The Cultivator Supre closed his eyes briefly, then opened them.
"Either way, they are here now. We cannot ignore them."
From outside, Savra’s voice carried again, full of confidence.
"Don’t keep us waiting. Or are the great Supres of the stronghold too afraid to face us?"
Velra chuckled, resting her whip on her shoulder.
"I expected more pride from an Alliance stronghold."
"At least send soone strong. Not these weaklings staring from the walls."
Inside, the Beastman Supre slamd his clawed fist onto the table. "Arrogant! I’ll tear their throats myself."
But the Mage Supre lifted her hand, stopping the Beastman before he could storm out.
"No. Wait." She tapped her staff against the ground, her eyes calm but sharp.
"Before we step forward ourselves, why not send so of our top elites first?"
"Let them test the truth of these so-called Demons’ strength."
The Hero Supre leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms.
His armoured fingers drumd against his elbow as he thought, then he nodded.
"That is a good idea. If these won truly are Supres, we’ll see it with our own eyes."
"And if they are not, then our elites can crush them."
He looked at the others, his tone steady.
"We also need to know if they are demonic cultivators who can feed on the Devil Nest’s ether."
"If that’s the case, they are more dangerous than we first thought."
The Cultivator Supre stroked his beard slowly.
"Indeed. Send an elite group. But make sure they are warned to be careful."
"We still do not know the limits of these won’s power."
The Beastman Supre grinned, showing sharp teeth.
He slamd his fist into the table, leaving a deep crack in the stone.
"Fine. I’ll gather the strongest hunters. Let them be the first to clash."
The Mage Supre narrowed her eyes, her voice cold.
"If they fall too easily, then we will know these Demons are not bluffing."
The Hero Supre stood, his armour rattling as he turned toward the hall doors.
"Summon them. Let the elites prove their worth."
"And let’s see if the Infernal Demon and Velvet Demon are truly as fearless as they claim."
