Blazren and Zain entered a hidden room deep inside the Hero Association building.
The hallway leading to it was dim and empty.
The walls were reinforced with thick tal, and the door they passed through had multiple locks and security checks.
Inside, the room was quiet, with only a few lights and so combat training dummies standing in the corner.
Blazren walked to the center and crossed his arms.
"Before we go further," he said, "let tell you sothing important."
Zain leaned against the wall, watching him carefully.
Blazren continued, "Class... It’s not am ability."
Zain tilted his head. "Then what is it?"
Blazren looked at him.
"You could say it’s like a high-tier ability... Or at least sothing like that.
"A deeper system. Sothing rare."
Zain frowned. "So it’s not just a title?"
Blazren shook his head.
"No. And here’s the key."
"Having a Class is also one of the requirents to beco S-Rank."
"Even if you make it to the A-Zone, you won’t qualify for S-Rank without a Class."
Zain nodded slowly. "I see... then what exactly is a Class?"
Blazren raised a hand. "Let show you sothing first."
He took a deep breath and activated [Fla Body].
At once, his entire body was coated in heat and glowing fire.
His arms, shoulders, and chest lit up with controlled fla.
The room temperature spiked.
"This is [Fla Body]," he said.
Zain watched closely, his eyes narrowing.
Blazren then took a step forward and activated another ability.
"Now I’m using my other mid-tier ability, [Blazing Core Focus]."
His fists glowed brighter.
Flas concentrated around his forearms, swirling with more pressure.
He turned toward a practice target in the corner and launched a fire strike.
The fla surged forward in a wave and hit the dummy square in the chest.
The target burned instantly.
Then, without waiting, Blazren deactivated [Fla Body].
But he kept [Blazing Core Focus] active and struck the next target with the sa blast.
It also burned.
He turned to Zain. "Now. Tell what you saw."
Zain stepped forward, thinking.
"Hmm... although both abilities were fla-based," he said, "the power didn’t combine."
"It didn’t stack. It was more like 1 plus 1 equals 2."
Blazren nodded.
Zain continued, "But if you had sothing else."
"Like a passive that boosted synergy between fire-type abilities."
"It could’ve been 1 plus 1 equals 3 or more."
Blazren smiled. "Exactly. That’s the problem."
"Even if both mid-tier abilities are from the sa elent.."
"Without a proper link, they just work side by side. Not together."
Zain nodded slowly. "So that’s the gap."
Blazren turned serious. "And here’s the thing."
"There are passive abilities that boost your other abilities."
"But they’re rare. Most heroes don’t even awakened them."
Zain looked down, thinking. "And Class?"
Blazren grinned. "Class is different."
Zain looked up. "Explain it."
Blazren leaned slightly against the wall. "You know fantasy RPG gas, right?"
Zain nodded. "Yeah, I know."
This body’s mories include stuff like that.
Blazren continued, "In those gas, you’ve got Class, Job, or Profession."
"Things like Warrior, Mage, Rogue."
"Each with their own set of skills and traits, right?"
Zain nodded again. "Active abilities. Passive traits. They all line up with your role."
"Exactly," Blazren said.
"Class in the real world is kinda like that."
"It links everything together: your moves, your power, your instinct."
"A good class makes you flow in combat."
Zain crossed his arms now. "So that’s why Skybrand felt so sharp."
Blazren nodded. "That’s right."
"The connection between her active abilities and passive traits? Perfect."
"Her Class does that."
Zain thought for a mont.
"So wait... She didn’t awaken just an ability."
"She awakened a Class?"
Blazren lifted a finger. "Not quite."
"First, she awakened normal abilities, just like us."
"Then later, she awakened a Class."
"And when that happened... all her original abilities were erased."
Zain’s eyes widened. "Erased?"
"Yeah," Blazren said.
"All replaced with the skills and traits of her new Class."
Zain frowned. "Is that normal?"
"Nope," Blazren said.
"Only happens when soone accidentally unlocks a Class."
"It’s rare. Most people never even see one in their lifeti."
"What’s her Class called?" Zain asked.
"[Skybrand Duelist]," Blazren replied. "It’s unique to her."
Zain leaned forward slightly. "So that power she used in the fight..."
"Yep," Blazren said.
"It all cos from her Class."
"That’s why Velvet Demon had such a hard ti."
"You saw how her attacks always missed, right?"
Zain nodded. "Like Skybrand just vanished every ti."
Blazren smiled. "That’s [Flashstep Reflex]. It’s one of her passive traits."
"As soon as soone targets her, she blinks out of the way."
"Doesn’t matter if it’s sword, gun, or fist."
"If it’s fast and sudden, she’s already gone."
Zain muttered, "That’s... broken."
Blazren laughed. "Yeah, and it gets worse."
He raised a finger. "She also has an active ability. [Skyline Execution]."
Zain tilted his head. "What does that one do?"
Blazren smirked. "She blinks behind a target midair and cuts them."
"If they flinch, fall, or get hit, she blinks again to the next strike point and hits again."
"Over and over."
Zain blinked. "Wait... that’s how she tossed Velra around like a ball."
"Exactly," Blazren said.
"That whole combo? That’s all [Skyline Execution] looping together with [Flashstep Reflex]."
"She blinks out of danger, then blinks back in to attack again."
Zain ran a hand through his hair. "No wonder it looked flawless."
Blazren nodded. "Because it was."
"That’s what a Class gives you. A full set of linked abilities, all ant to work together."
"They’re not just stacked. They’re built to blend."
Zain sat down slowly, still absorbing the info.
"So Class is like... a mix of abilities fused into a structure."
"You can say it like that," Blazren said.
"But here’s the key."
"Abilities you awaken by yourself, and abilities you gain from a Class, they’re not the sa."
Zain looked up. "How so?"
Blazren said, "Self-awakened abilities co one at a ti. They don’t always fit."
"Sotis they clash. Like a person awakening [Tough Body] and [Fla Control]."
"Good on their own, but not built to boost each other."
Zain nodded slowly.
"But Class-based skills?" Blazren continued.
"They’re designed to work together."
"Every passive supports every active. Every move flows into the next."
Zain leaned back and smiled slightly. He now understood everything.
