The battle had ended, and Qin Chu had beco the last victor.

The defeated Catherine lay powerless beside him.

Qin Chu wasn’t idle. He needed to quickly convert his battle experience into his own strength. He wouldn’t miss any opportunity to beco stronger.

Sitting cross-legged on the ground, Qin Chu entered a ditative state.

However, he hadn’t noticed that just as he had entered ditation, a circle of invisible gray mist began to spread on the cold floor, with countless thin, tentacle-like entities crazily wriggling above Qin Chu’s head and gradually enveloping him from above.

As his consciousness sank into his body, his vision quickly blurred, a gray haze forming and gradually being dispersed by a firelight. He saw a crimson, diamond-shaped object, only the size of a soybean but burning with a blazing fla.

That was his Fighting Elent, the core of his Fighting Energy.

Beside the Fighting Elent was a peanut-sized, colorful diamond-shaped crystal. That was his Demon Core.

Although Qin Chu did not systematically practice magic in his second journey, the demons he consud mainly fought using Magic Power, which resulted in his spiritual power becoming the strongest of his attributes, so much so that his Demon Core was even larger than his Fighting Elent.

Guided by his consciousness, the Fighting Energy within his body continuously swirled. The Fighting Elent, like a greedy beast, swiftly devoured the free-floating energy, and its crimson color beca even purer.

Scattered on the ground beside him was a pile of crystal fragnts, which were from the Holy Crystal Stone that Qin Chu had crushed.

The abundant energy contained in the Holy Crystal Stone gifted by Rose Vesper turned into a fiery dragon, crazily surging into Qin Chu’s body, with each second Qin Chu could feel the growth of his Fighting Energy.

Wave after wave of heat emitted from his body, the intense energy dispersing the cold of the night. Tufts of flas danced on the tips of his hair as Qin Chu’s entire body turned a fiery red, seemingly a burning blaze.

Certainly, his strength was advancing, a positive developnt, but Qin Chu’s brows were tightly furrowed, a sudden, sharp pain throbbing in his forehead, and from deep within, an urge to wildly destroy surged forth.

Following that, Qin Chu felt as if his head was swelling. A weird energy silently infiltrated, seeming ready to burst his skull.

His body also beca increasingly hot, his skin almost turning into red-hot iron.

His ditation was being invaded. He didn’t know what kind of presence was interfering with his ditation.

Amidst the haze, he seed to hear, from an unknown source, an ethereal murmur...

He couldn’t understand what the voices ant; they did not belong to any language Qin Chu knew.

But Qin Chu could feel that the voices were full of weirdness and seduction, a kind of murmur that could lead a person to fall into the Abyss, as if a cold, slippery, round, and slender tentacle was wrapped around his neck, the ends of the tentacle wriggling on his face, neck, arms, and belly...

The slippery, wet, soft weird touch almost made Qin Chu’s scalp explode, as small bumps instantly appeared all over his body.

He wanted to open his eyes, but his eyelids felt as if they were sewn shut, completely unable to open.

His body twitched involuntarily. Even though he couldn’t open his eyes, he could still see indescribable translucent entities in front of him, twisting their weird limbs.

They were ghosts, ghostly shadows, indescribable beings.

They wriggled closer to Qin Chu, their limbs all transford into snake-like tentacles, andering on the ground and in mid-air, dragging their shapeless bodies inch by inch closer...

Contamination!

Twice peeking into the mysteries of the Void had finally earned punishnt. In that boundless Void, powerful entities had noticed Qin Chu’s presence. Perhaps because Qin Chu was too weak, or perhaps because those entities couldn’t leave that starry sky for so reason, they did not appear before Qin Chu in person, only able to interfere with his will through this contamination.

It seed, if those entities had appeared before Qin Chu in person, with his current strength, he would likely have suffered imdiate Destruction.

Qin Chu had thought that this contamination had already been suppressed by the power of the Holy Light within him, but the contamination was sly and bizarre, suddenly appearing while Qin Chu was ditating.

This thod was extrely malicious.

If this continued, his consciousness was bound to lose its sanity due to the influence of corruption.

Suddenly, Qin Chu endured the distractions around him and fought against the whispers in his ears as his consciousness sank once more.

He intended to regain control of his body. He did not know how much ti had passed—it felt like days, yet seed to be only a few breaths. Suddenly, the index finger on Qin Chu’s right hand twitched.

Hums...

The next instant, at the position of Qin Chu’s right wrist, where silver hair was entwined, a large expanse of white light burst forth suddenly.

The milky white light swept around like waves, with his hair even detaching from his wrist and swirling in the air above Qin Chu’s head. Each swirl was a burst of Holy Light, and the silver strands elongated, connecting end to end to form a massive ring.

Behind Qin Chu, a tender green sprout also gradually erged, becoming clearer under the Holy Light Blossom. Its solitary leaf, lush and seemingly delicate, swayed while supporting itself against the violent fluctuations.

In the rings of Holy Light, a ghostly shadow with enchanting curves erged, resembling a transparent crystal with countless chains wrapped around the shadow.

The next mont, the mysterious ghostly shadow raised a perfectly shaped Jade foot and tapped lightly in mid-air.

In an instant, the entire world halted.

Then, centered around the ghostly shadow’s Jade foot, a huge ring, woven from countless silvery threads, rapidly dispersed in all directions.

Those weird ghostly shadows, as if encountering their nesis, let out cries of despair and instantly turned into vast swathes of white smoke that perated throughout the palace.

They were dispersed... no, not dispersed, they were purified.

The evil consciousness and souls turned to ashes in an instant; the energies filled with corruption were also purified into the purest form of energy.

From the roots of the tiny sprout behind him, nurous lines suddenly grew, like a dense network of roots spreading on the ground and in mid-air, greedily devouring the energy purified by the Holy Light.

In a short while, the energy perating the area was completely devoured by the sprout, which seed to have grown a bit larger; the roots also shortened and retracted, densely entwining over the Demon Core and Fighting Elent.

A dark gray light disappeared in front of Qin Chu, containing endless madness; nearly invisible, one could still hear heart-palpitating roars...

Qin Chu opened his eyes once again; all the weird imagery before him had vanished, and he was quietly sitting on the floor, with Catherine still lying destructed beside him.

Everything was identical to before his spiritual practice, as if everything he had just experienced was rely an illusion.

Catherine, Angelica upstairs, the guards outside, none had been affected by the recent evil attacks; to them, nothing had happened.

Qin Chu silently stretched out his right hand; the mark left by the silver hair on his wrist was still flickering with faint light, and he could still feel a warm trace, vaguely visible. He turned his head and looked back; there was no green sprout behind him.

His brows deeply furrowed together, and after a mont of hesitation, he mobilized the Star Fla Fighting Energy within his body.

Hums...

A fla danced in the palm of his hand.

Staring at the fla, reflected in the pupils of his eyes was a silvery white color.

Light Seed, Life Seed...

Antia had once ntioned that the seed within him had already sprouted... Also, the unclear-faced ghostly shadow that erged among the Holy Light, what existence was that?

With a light tap of his toes, space solidified, ti stopped, and all evil instantly turned to ash.

The ghostly shadow appeared within the ring ford by the threads; could it be possible that the figure was an existence imprisoned within the Void Cage?
