Only Ireta, the Daughter of Death, knew the true horrors hidden beneath the ice.
Part of it was the remains of the Evil God.
But, aside from the Evil God Remains, there were many other bizarre entities concealed there.
In the depths of the glacier, a place rarely visited by humans,
it was rumored, just like the Endless Sea, to be a place one could enter but never leave... However, there was never a shortage of adventurous souls in the world of mankind, those who considered venturing into the unknown as a mark of glory.
The spirit of exploration was not inherently right or wrong.
After all, the advancent of human civilization often occurred through such adventures.
But the death toll this type of exploration caused was another matter.
For a thousand years, the bone-chilling cold and the blizzards have failed to deter the truly adventurous spirits, and countless lives have been lost here.
Without exception, those who have ventured into this region possessed extraordinarily great strength...
Such strength often required equally powerful souls and wills to sustain.
It was unpredictable how these already strong souls, eroded by the breath of the Evil God for so many years, would warp.
Until now, these evil spirits had always been dormant.
But after the ice layer was shattered, the breath of the living poured in with the air.
The evil spirits sealed in the ice were all awoken at that mont.
Ireta’s expression grew somber. Confronting these evil spirits that had grown stronger after being eroded by the Evil God was quite troubleso, even for her as the Daughter of Death.
Damn it.
The ice layer, tens or even hundreds of ters thick, had been hardened by thousands of years of extre cold, its hardness surpassing that of boulders. It wasn’t sothing that could be easily shattered, yet now it had broken apart due to a Super Order Magic technique, the teorite Technique?
Could it be that this was also the deliberate arrangent of that mysterious entity?
What exactly did that being intend to do?
Ireta’s mind was flooded with thoughts, but at this mont, she had no ti to ponder them. Her dark eyes peered through the thick layer of ice and clearly saw the black traces stirring beneath the ice layer.
The evil spirits were about to break free.
Though her body had long perished and breathing had ceased, Ireta felt her own breath quickening at this very mont.
Her gaze swiftly turned to Inas and Florence behind her, and her pale lips parted, "Run!"
Her voice wasn’t loud, but it clearly pierced the ears of the two won.
Run?
The invisible oppression left the two won struggling even to breathe.
What had the Daughter of Death discovered that compelled her to urge them to flee?
There was no ti to consider too deeply. Inas and Florence exchanged looks, wanting to stay and help... but before, the two together could hold off an enemy, providing so support to Ireta.
But now, as the situation rapidly deteriorated, their presence had beco a hindrance. It was clear from Ireta’s expression that this conflict was no longer sothing they could be involved in.
However, the two won were smart.
Even though they sensed sothing was amiss, they imdiately sought hope in their minds.
Their only hope was... Qin Chu.
Perhaps, only that Hero who wielded the Holy Light Power and inherited the legacy of the Holy Light Goddess could avert the impending disaster.
Florence imdiately placed her finger on her ear, trying to contact Qin Chu using ssage Magic.
But she failed.
It was unclear if it was due to the seal of the glacier being broken, the pervasion of the Evil God’s breath, or the unleashing of the evil spirits, but energy was disturbed so severely that ssage Magic could not reach Qin Chu.
"Inas, you must reach the Ice Duchy as quickly and directly as possible," Florence ordered, her status as a forr Church Venerable of the Earth Mother Goddess Sect surfacing, as she displayed far more experienced command than Inas despite having stepped back from her position.
"If you encounter anything along the way, contact imdiately using ssage Magic."
Inas understood that the situation did not allow for delay.
Without hesitation, she nodded forcefully and rushed toward the direction of the Ice Duchy with all her might, supporting her protective shield.
During the escape, Inas’s shield was severely attacked. In just a few seconds, the surface of the shield was riddled with large cracks.
As for Florence, she retreated at a slightly slower pace.
While withdrawing, she continually attempted to contact Qin Chu using ssage Magic, hoping to quickly leave the area where energy had beco extrely chaotic.
Six clones remained in the sky.
They had no intelligence, like mad dogs.
But it was precisely this dog-like ferocity that drove them to refuse to allow any prey to escape from their sight, and two clones imdiately attempted to give chase.
"Death Domain."
Ireta’s expression was icy, a chill flashed in her dark eyes as she spoke in a low voice, uttering a mysterious term.
Whoo!
A gloomy gust of wind rose.
A chill, completely different from that of the glacier, spread through the void. The world seed to be enveloped in a faint grey hue.
Not a deep black, but a gloomy grey-black.
