Heidi was not just a queen of a nation but also Antasia’s mother; she could tell from the way her daughter looked at Qin Chu that her daughter was deeply in love with this man.

Heidi had already witnessed the extent of Qin Chu’s strength, and there was no doubt about his power, but even with the prowess of a Hero venturing into such a dangerous area, Heidi couldn’t help but worry.
At this mont, weighing on the scales of Heidi’s heart were the welfare of her daughter and the two million citizens of the Ice Duchy. Heidi could not hinder her son-in-law from adventuring into the deep glacier for the sake of her daughter’s happiness... but at the very least, preparations had to be made.

Qin Chu also briefly discussed with everyone that on this trip into the deep glacier, he planned to go alone. In such a weird place, having more people might not necessarily be effective.
After all, the remains of the Evil God lay buried deep within the glacier, and Qin Chu did not want to let Angelica, or even Great Shaye, accompany him on the adventure.

However, a trace of dissatisfaction was still clearly visible on the girls’ faces.
In the evening, they indulged in a lavish al, savoring the Ice Duchy’s cuisine; perhaps due to the incredibly cold weather, the dishes were mostly high in calories with heavy use of salt and oil.
After Qin Chu was satiated with food and drink, Heidi knocked on the door at just the right mont.
"Qin, your room is ready. You should get so rest early tonight," Heidi said with a gentle smile on her face and a slight curve to her lips.
Compared to Osvid, Heidi was much more relaxed around Qin Chu, not caring too much about his status as a Hero and Pope; the word son-in-law trumped everything.
As a mother-in-law, calling him "Qin" was perfectly fine.
Qin Chu stretched and stood up: "Thank you very much, Miss Heidi."
Miss Heidi, Qin Chu’s way of addressing her... sohow calling her mother-in-law felt odd.
The moniker made Heidi cover her mouth and chuckle: "Miss Heidi? It’s been many years since anyone has called that. I’m over forty now, and the title ’Miss’ is too much for to bear."
"Haha, Miss Heidi is too modest; standing next to Antasia, I thought you were her sister," Qin Chu said with a chuckle.
Qin Chu had grown from his forr wooden self and had beco more articulate.
True to form, no woman dislikes being told she looks young, and Heidi’s smile beca even more tender and charming: "Qin, you have such a way with words. No wonder you have so many girls who like you."
