Demons had appeared on the Sky Do Continent over a decade ago.

After their appearance, they imdiately exhibited intense aggressiveness. Humanity tried to resist, but after nurous battles with countless casualties, they still faced defeat, and only then did they begin to summon Heroes out of desperation.

For the vast majority of the people on the Sky Do Continent, this was all they knew.

Regarding where the Demons ca from and how they were born, there have always been various speculations. So say Demons live in the Demon World, others say they reside in the Abyss, yet others say Demons are born from evil and filth, teeming with dirty lifeforms.

But, Qin Chu knew.

The history of Demons stretched back at least a thousand years.

A thousand years ago, during the great war of the Gods, the blood of the Evil God and the local gods spilled across the world, staining the oceans red and soaking the land.

The entire world was shrouded in blood rain, and the region of the Sky Do Continent was affected less compared to other areas... The life forms in places more severely contaminated by divine blood eventually transford into weird Demons under its erosion.

To put it more bluntly, the ancestors of the Demons could have been a wild beast, a bird, an insect, a large tree, or even... possibly humans.

That was all Qin Chu knew. He couldn’t understand much more, and it seed now that he could learn a substantial truth from Atreus’s words.

Even Helois and Iyeta couldn’t help but feel curious. They too were Demons born here, knowing little about their original living places.

Among the Demons, the place they lived before seed to be a taboo topic for so reason, rarely discussed.

It is said that the Demon nests could lead to their original living place, the so-called Abyss.

But all Demon nests were controlled by the Abyss 17 Demon Generals and the Four Heavenly Kings, and other Demons were not allowed to inquire about them.

The Demons that ca to the Sky Do Continent through the nests in the Abyss, and those born on the Sky Do Continent ford two distinctly separate groups, each disliking the other.

How should it be said? The Demons from the Abyss were more temperantal and unpleasant.

Those born in the Sky Do Continent were more intelligent; although their temperant wasn’t exactly pleasant, it was sowhat moderate and not overly exaggerated.

The Demons from the Abyss viewed those born in the Sky Do Continent as weaklings; whereas the ones born in the Sky Do saw those from the Abyss as fools.

Antasia and Angelica were also a bit curious; only Antia didn’t care at all about these matters.

The only things she cared about were herself and Qin Chu, and now, sowhat strangely, Antasia too.

Atreus, truly deserving the title of forr Demon Grand Princess, did not show the slightest hint of stage fright despite everyone’s gaze focusing on her, and spoke with ease.

"In the world of humans, it is said that Demons co from the Abyss, from the Demon World..."

"Actually, there is no Abyss in this world, nor is there what is called the Demon World."

"We call the place where we live... the God Abandoned Continent!"

The na God Abandoned Continent... sohow, it caused everyone to feel a very strange sensation.

Atreus gently bit her lip, a hint of a bitter smile on her face, "Yes, just as you imagine, it is a continent abandoned by the gods."

While everyone had already speculated upon hearing the na God Abandoned Continent, they still felt sowhat shocked to hear Atreus confirm it.

The Demons felt abandoned by the gods?

These were Demons; could it be that they once had faith in gods?

Demons believing in gods... What gods did they believe in, Demon Gods?

Seemingly sensing everyone’s puzzlent, Atreus’s smile grew more bitter, "I know what you are thinking, but... Demons do have faith, or at least they once did."

"The life forms of the Sky Do Continent have always lived in the most comfortable circles; you probably don’t know how terrifying the outside world actually is."

"Like the Sky Do Continent, the God Abandoned Continent is a piece of land that exists in this world. It faces the Sky Do Continent across the sea, and the weird Endless Sea blocks the connection between the God Abandoned Continent and the Sky Do Continent."

"According to so fragnted ancient texts, a thousand years ago, the God Abandoned Continent also had its own gods... Our ancestors were not Demons, but... not much different from you... humans, at least partly."

"But one day a thousand years ago, crimson blood rain began to fall from the heavens, and the red rainwater flooded the world."

"In that blood rain, humans, animals, birds, fish, and insects all suffered from corrosion."

Gulp...

The words of Atreus left everyone shocked. The expressions on their faces could only be described as weird; even Antia, a woman who cared about nothing, couldn’t help but be drawn in.

The ancestors of the Demons, so even being humans?

This... What was this?

"Weak, unlucky beings died at that ti. The books recorded that during that period, the God Abandoned Continent was littered with corpses everywhere, covered with dead, rotting bodies, their stench masking everything else."

"The God Abandoned Continent is a larger landmass than the Sky Do Continent, and the number of life forms living there was also greater than here. But that one blood rain directly resulted in a reduction of over ninety percent of life on the God Abandoned Continent."
