Looking at the still wriggling innards at his feet, it appeared to be half of a heart – flung out from who knows whose body.
So blood even clung to the boots of Atreus.
Hiss.
In that mont, Atreus sucked in a breath of cold air, feeling a chill down to his bones.
His slender neck constantly moved as if sothing was stuck in his throat.
Those four demons—one brother Fulna, one sister Delna, of average strength and sowhat inferior to him... but the other two, Princess Jacqueline and Wolf King Wolfes, were genuine Level 90 powerhouses that not even Atreus could contend with.
And just like that, these four top experts burst into pieces in the blink of an eye.
Just like that... dead?
Dead?
This weird spectacle left an eerie silence at the scene; everyone who saw this mont stiffened on the ground, including the Demon Princess herself, all doubting whether there was sothing wrong with their eyes.
They must have seen it wrong, right?
All breaths disappeared at this mont, with hearts feeling as if they were seized by a massive hand, contracting, expanding, beating frantically.
It was several seconds later that Princess Atreus finally shifted her gaze forward again, relocking it on the human standing behind the destroyed demons.
This ti, Atreus saw the man’s face.
Her heart inexplicably twitched.
Hero.
She recognized the man’s identity at a glance.
Could it be that everything was the doing of the Hero?
No... that’s absolutely impossible. Even a Hero couldn’t possess the strength to instantly kill Jacqueline and Wolfes. Could this man be the Demon King?
Hadn’t Helois and Iyeta said that the Hero’s strength had completely exhausted?
In a flash, countless chaotic thoughts surged through Atreus’s mind, feeling as if her brain lost its ability to think.
Continuing to gaze further back, the scene beca even more grueso, filled with severed limbs and thick blood plasma.
The ground had almost turned into a muddy swamp, and this so-called Hero stood amidst this swamp, with the broken bodies and blood serving as an entourage that made the man appear even more terrifying than a Demon.
Even further back, there were five won.
In front of one woman lay the dead Lowell.
The remaining four won, according to the intelligence Atreus held, were the Hero’s Maid Angelica, Antasia, and the turncoats Helois and Iyeta whom she had placed beside the Hero, unhard by the Reverse Prophecy Technique aid at demons under Qin Chu’s manipulation.
It appeared that these four won did not participate in the war.
So, apart from the Fierce Giant Ape Lowell, all other demons, including those top powerhouses, died at the hands of the Hero?
After realizing this, the fear in Atreus’s chest swelled even more.
She had thought the noises heard before were the demons and the Hero clashing mightily, in an evenly matched battle.
But now it seed like an absolute massacre... How could the Hero’s strength be so terrifying when his power had already waned, yet he still possessed such a fearso combat force?
Were Helois and Iyeta, those treacherous wretches, intentionally deceiving her?
As Atreus fixed her gaze on Qin Chu, he too slightly lifted his head to look at the beautiful Demon Princess Atreus, "Hey, Princess, how are you?"
His greeting was very gentle, very amiable.
As if the blood stains on him never existed.
But that smile only made Atreus tremble, and the fear that had been fernting in her chest erupted completely in that mont.
Atreus did not know what exactly had happened here, but at least she understood one thing—facing the man before her was sothing she could not contend with.
To rush towards an enemy that all her brothers, sisters, princesses, heavenly kings, and demon generals couldn’t handle ant courting death.
"Retreat!"
The Princess was decisive.
With barely a mont’s hesitation, she shouted sharply and turned to flee.
Behind her, a pair of wings like a Dark Angel instantly unfolded, dragging Atreus’s body to fly swiftly backwards, in an attempt to escape this dangerous area.
The subordinates around Atreus were even quicker to react; they had long been awaiting their master’s command. The mont Atreus’s voice rang out, they imdiately took action.
Qin Chu’s expression remained unchanged, still all smiles. He didn’t even hint at giving chase, simply opening his arms upwards toward the sky.
In his left hand, Fire Elents were furiously gathering.
In the palm of his right hand, Ice Elents were rapidly converging.
In just a brief instant, two small magics had already taken shape within Qin Chu’s palms.
Both hands fell almost simultaneously. Qin Chu was a very hospitable man; he decided to set off a bit of fireworks to welco these visitors from afar.
"Super Order Magic, Skyfire teor."
"Super Order Magic, Ice Dragon Burst!"
The next instant, the sky changed color.
The first to appear was a blazing crimson glow.
Huge fireballs the size of houses appeared out of thin air in the night sky, dispelling darkness with their fiery light, illuminating the nearby area so that every detail was exposed.
