Decomposer? Divine Decomposition?

Originally, seeing this statue, a mass of decaying flesh, Qin Chu had speculated that the divinity of this Evil God might be related to decay or corrosion. However, he had not expected it to be decomposition.

As the strand of Divine Decomposition was devoured by Qin Chu, the statue also at this mont completely lost its support, collapsing into a pile of rubble atop the altar.

The chains that had extended from the statue also vanished at this ti.

Seven statues, two of which had now been destroyed, and the spiritual chains wrapped around Asina’s soul were visibly reduced significantly.

Compared to the first ti he cleared a statue, this ti was indeed much easier. Qin Chu didn’t feel much ntal exhaustion, and even if he were to destroy another statue, it should not be a problem. But Qin Chu didn’t do that.

On one hand, it was to maintain control over Asina.

On the other hand, it was to preserve his own strength. His physical body was already extrely weak, and if his spirit were to also fall into exhaustion, in case he encountered any situation, he would not have the slightest strength to fight back, sothing Qin Chu absolutely did not want to see.

Nodding slightly towards Asina’s soul, Qin Chu’s consciousness disconnected from Asina’s soul space and he opened his eyes again to find the sa beautiful, docile face blushing before him.

The full-bodied figure was still lying on him, breathing slightly.

The ssy hair fell on his chest, stirring the skin and causing a slight itch.

It seems Asina was also quite tired.

When she saw Qin Chu open his eyes, Asina was a bit surprised, "Eh? How co it was so quick this ti?"

Upon hearing this, Qin Chu’s forehead was suddenly lined with black, thinking to himself, doesn’t this woman know how to speak? Didn’t she realize the ambiguity in her words? Qin Chu always felt that his dignity as a man was insulted.

"Ahem, because I had the experience from last ti, it was a bit quicker," Qin Chu gave a simple explanation. "How do you feel now?"

Asina closed her eyes and sensed her current physical state: "It seems to be a bit easier than before."

"That’s good, it seems it’s effective."

"Inside your soul, there are still five Divine Statues. I will find an opportunity to cleanse all five statues, and then you will be freed."

A hint of rosiness and a smile appeared on her tender little face, and she gently rubbed her head against Qin Chu’s chest, "It’s okay, take it slow, no rush."

"There is still so ti before dawn, master should rest for a while."

Qin Chu nodded and closed his eyes.

It wasn’t until the following morning that Qin Chu finally opened his eyes. Asina’s figure had already disappeared, seemingly worried that Silf would see her coming out of Qin Chu’s bedroom, which might be difficult to explain, so Asina left early.

Although in Qin Chu’s view it was completely unnecessary to do so since the noise last night was so loud, Silf would definitely have heard it.

Stretching lazily, Qin Chu got up from the bed, moved his body a little, and could feel that his body had recovered most of its strength, recovering a bit faster than he had expected.

After getting dressed, Qin Chu looked strangely at the chair he sat on the previous night, on which he had been reading Augustus’s notes, and then slowly extended his right hand.

He wanted to try out the effect of Divine Decomposition.

His palm rested on the backrest of the chair, and the divine power was activated by Qin Chu; it felt as if beneath his palm, nurous tiny, invisible, and intangible tentacles appeared.

The next instant, with just a snap, the chair that was originally intact was disintegrated into sticks and planks, scattering across the floor.

Is this the power of decomposition?

Transforming matter back to its original state?

No... it’s not just that.

Qin Chu was surprised to find that even after being disintegrated into sticks, the power of Divine Decomposition was still present and continuing. Visibly, the solid sticks rapidly softened, like weathered stone, turning into fine powder in an instant, even finer than flour...

Qin Chu roughly understood the effect of this divinity; it could even revert the material state of certain substances back to the most original molecular and atomic states.

And this decomposition is not only effective against matters like chairs and stones but also effective against living substances, such as humans, demons, similarly exerting effects.

Although it seems to lack grand, spectacular effects, its power is absolutely terrifying.

And there is almost no way to resist it.

Just like the residual divinity of the Lord of Pleasure before, upon entering into the body, the Divine Decomposition imdiately caught the attention of Gluttony Authority, cowering together with Desire Sin Divinity in the corner, trembling as if they could be swallowed by Gluttony Authority at any mont.

It’s not too much to say that without Qin Chu’s suppression, Gluttony Authority could have eaten both divinities as its supplents.

After sensing his body, Qin Chu found that his other heart seed to have accelerated its integration with him due to this period of power exhaustion.

In the short term, Qin Chu found it difficult to judge whether this was a good or bad thing.

```
Just as Qin Chu was examining his own body condition, his sharp senses detected soone approaching from outside the door.
Soon, there was a knocking sound from the door, followed by Angelica’s familiar soft and sweet voice, "Master, there are visitors."
With a gentle wave of his hand, the door swung open automatically.
Dressed in a maid costu, Angelica stepped into the bedroom and started tidying up Qin Chu’s clothes.
Her erald hair gently swayed with her movents, and with the height difference, Qin Chu could even look down through the neckline of the maid costu to scenes a gentleman ought not to behold.
Although Qin Chu had already savored every inch of Angelica’s skin, this sensation had its own unique appeal.
Angelica could naturally feel her master’s unabashed, completely unshielded gaze. She simply shot Qin Chu a coquettish look, but didn’t say much.
For a maid like herself, the fact that her body still held allure for her master was a matter of great pride.
"It’s the Grand Commander of the Holy Court’s Holy Knight Order, Veronica, and one of the Vice Captains, Anpton."
These were the two individuals Asina and Silf had ntioned before.
As Asina had said, they were already back again today, unable to wait any longer.
It seed that the situation within the Holy Court was quite dire.
Considering what the Holy Court was facing at this very mont, Qin Chu could easily imagine the crisis.
The two most important people in the Church Court, the ones holding the highest authority—the Pope and the public figure of the Holy Daughter—had turned against each other and even engaged in a fight to the death.
This fact alone had an even greater impact than the deaths of tens of thousands within the Holy Court.
Despite the Holy Court having the largest number of believers, wielding significant influence over the Royal Family and the Noble Class—especially the nobles, seventy percent of whom were believers of the Holy Court—their faith was almost worthless.
They were not truly loyal to the Holy Court; they simply carried the label of being followers of the Holy Light Goddess as a signboard, seeking the Holy Court’s protection if trouble arose, while giving only insignificant donations each month.
Now that such a catastrophe had occurred within the Holy Court, with the Pope dead, the Holy Daughter missing, many high-ranking officials dead, and severe casualties among holy knights, nuns, and priests, it was clear to anyone that the Holy Court’s influence had substantially waned in just a few days.
The label of being a follower of the Holy Light Goddess could no longer bring any benefits, and it could even beco a burden.
The shrewd nobles would definitely cast away this hot potato at once, even taking the initiative to distance themselves from the Holy Court.
They were well aware that what the Holy Court would face next was the combined siege of the Royal Family and the Earth Mother Goddess Sect. If they did not sever ties quickly, they might be implicated when the reckoning ca.
If the remaining mbers of the Holy Court could cooperate sincerely at this ti, they might be able to maintain the core of the Holy Court. Although their influence would be greatly diminished, they wouldn’t be completely undone.
Unfortunately, sincere cooperation was out of the question for those people. Each of them was eyeing the vacant throne of the Pope, each eager to ascend to that position.
This was evident from the fact that only Veronica and Anpton had co to find Qin Chu. After all, they weren’t the only ones Rose Vesper had sched against and imprisoned.
"Where are they now?" Qin Chu quickly ran through his thoughts and then inquired.
"In the reception room."
"Well, have them wait a little while. Could you call Asina, Silf, and Catherine for ?"
After straightening her master’s collar, Angelica took a step back, glanced at her master’s present appearance with apparent satisfaction in her handiwork, and obediently nodded before turning to leave.
It wasn’t long before Asina, Silf, and Catherine appeared in front of Qin Chu.
Qin Chu pondered in his mind, ’Asina, since Rose Vesper disappeared three days ago, have you had any further contact with her?’
Asina shook her head slightly.
Silf and Catherine reacted in the sa way; they felt that their mission to stay close to Rose Vesper had been completed and naturally saw no need to contact her anymore.
Moreover, they probably couldn’t even get in touch with Rose Vesper at this point.
Given that woman’s cunning, after enduring such a setback, she would likely be very cautious, thoroughly concealing her existence. She wouldn’t even let others know whether she was dead or alive.
"Then, Asina, I am assigning you a task. Silf, Catherine, you two are to assist Asina..."
"I need you to find a way to contact Rose Vesper... and then, hand over Jie Luo’s Soul Fragnt to her." Qin Chu’s smile grew richer and more sinister.
Qin Chu knew precisely what would lure Rose Vesper into the trap.
Those Soul Fragnts were of no value to Qin Chu any longer.
But to Rose Vesper, they were priceless treasures!
