When Qin Chu read this, his first thought was that it couldn’t be possible.

Did Zimrman imply that the blood rain from a thousand years ago caused the demons to appear?

So, are the demons actually the descendants of God?

The authority of God could lead to the madness and loss of control in a Witch’s consciousness, and blood could cause the ergence of demonic beings—Qin Chu did not doubt these points. What he doubted was the actual duration for which demons had appeared—it was just a matter of the past few decades, wasn’t it? Only when humanity could no longer hold on did they start summoning the Hero.

If demons had truly appeared a thousand years ago, how was it possible that there wasn’t even a slight record of them? Could humanity really have withstood an attack by demons for such a long ti?

Qin Chu was full of doubts, and he quickly turned to the next page, only to see it was full of densely packed fine print:

"Do not doubt, the demons were indeed born during the blood rain a thousand years ago."

"There are clear records in Wise Mountain, so lives that bathed in the blood rain began to mutate, whether they were humans or wild beasts. However, the numbers were not very large, quickly suppressed by the major Churches and states at the ti, without causing much chaos."

"Most importantly, the areas most affected by the blood rain are not located above the Sky Do Continent but over the ocean and beyond the ocean..."

"We do not know what exactly exists beyond the ocean."

"But if there are lives beyond the ocean, that area must be the most severely eroded."

"People often say that demons co from the Abyss, but in my view, demons might actually co from beyond the ocean, perhaps they just opened so sort of channel, breaking the blockade between the Sky Do Continent and other places."

Qin Chu furrowed his brow; he recalled seeing sothing during a demon lair clearance that resembled a black-purple spaceti vortex. Through that weird portal, one could see a glimpse of the other side.

It was a world where flas burned and the air was filled with filth.

Qin Chu had once thought that place was the so-called Abyss.

"Mr. Brave may not know this, but the people of Sky Do Continent cannot leave this land. Even if they go to sea, the maximum range is just three hundred kiloters; beyond that lies thick fog. No matter how skilled a navigator, once they enter that area, they quickly lose their way,"

"Either swallowed by the raging waves or unconsciously returning to the far shore."

"Even a master of the Great Sage level would get lost there."

"The so-called Sky Do Continent is more like a huge cage; all the lives on Sky Do Continent live inside this prison. However, from another perspective, this is also a protection for Sky Do Continent—we’ve lost our freedom, but gained our lives."

The Great Sages of Wise Mountain are not rely studying Magic; they are more like observers, watching and studying this world.

"For a thousand years, the Great Sages of Wise Mountain have been continuously searching for the truth about the events a thousand years ago and beyond the ocean. It’s not an easy task."

"Each generation achieves very little, but no one gives up."

"This is a journey with no visible end; walking this path can be utterly exhausting."

"Yet, we are not without gains. We know that the blood rain a thousand years ago is related to the Void, and that mysterious forces from the Void had corrupted this world. All sorts of weird and terrible entities, such as the Blissful Witch Association and the Plague School, erged at that ti, bringing unprecedented disasters to this world."

"But please, do not attempt to peek into the Void lightly. In Wise Mountain alone, there have been at least forty Great Sages who attempted to discover the secrets of the Void; these people either died or went mad."

"One of the mad predecessors, the most talented and powerful in Wise Mountain for a thousand years, even broke through human shackles, seeming to have glimpsed the future; he prophesied that entities within the Void would bring eternal death to Sky Do Continent."

"Oh, right, a thousand years ago, so of your compatriots even descended from Different World to Sky Do Continent."

"I’m not sure how many there were, they brought new languages and technologies, but they also brought new disasters. Most of them beca followers of the weird, embodint of disaster and fear."

Qin Chu thought of the Stone Plate that Asina had brought back, so contents of which were clearly written in simplified characters—perhaps these were the compatriots Zimrman ntioned, who descended to Different World a thousand years ago.

"Why these people suddenly appeared is still without conclusion."

"We speculate that maybe they were summoned by so entities involved in the war a thousand years ago."

"So of them even left their descendants on Sky Do Continent, their progeny often possessing astonishing talents and Strength, far exceeding the native residents of Sky Do Continent."

"However, after a thousand years, I guess the bloodlines have probably beco so diluted they’re unrecognizable."

Qin Chu’s expression suddenly turned sowhat weird.

Astonishing talent and Strength?

The first person Qin Chu thought of was Asina.

In Ireta’s words, Asina possessed the most tenacious and powerful soul in a millennium and her innate talent in Magic training was truly remarkable.
