Following the chain that had evolved from the python, it seed to stretch to the very end of the Void.

Qin Chu saw it—a massive cage.

Countless chains wrapped around the cage, densely intertwined, shrouded by thick black fog that swirled violently, as if it were flas burning furiously.

Above the dense fog, countless twisted ghostly shadows seed to swim, faintly discernible with a pungent sll of blood that could be slled, and one could hear faint, dizzying murmurs and wails in their ears.

His brain throbbed in waves, and Qin Chu was dumbstruck; he felt as if his heart was about to stop beating.

He was even more certain that he had seen sothing incredible, sothing humans were not ant to witness.

What... what was this thing?

At the other end of the chain, a huge spherical shape, seemingly branded in the Void, sensed the gaze of a stranger; its surface, covered with countless vertical pupils, slowly rotated a few tis, all aligning their gaze upon him.

In a mont, Qin Chu’s body was watched by thousands upon thousands of eyeballs, and his body reacted instantly. Crazy, chaotic screams tore his eardrums, weird twisted figures filled his eyes, and mysterious waves echoed in his mind, making him feel as if his soul was about to explode.

A tearing pain ca from his skin.

Countless eyes on Qin Chu’s skin, rapidly bred like parasites.

All Qin Chu did was take a glance, and despair, madness, and bizarre intense emotions, along with countless shattering fragnts of visions, crazily rushed into his soul.

It seed as if so sinister force was about to seize his body and awaken it using his corpse.

Hiss...

Just then, Qin Chu’s body suddenly began to tremble violently, and the terrifying images before him receded like a tide.

It was as if everything he had just witnessed was rely an illusion.

But Qin Chu was well aware that it wasn’t sothing that could be simply explained away as an illusion; his hands covered his face, tears of blood seeping between his fingers, his clothes soaked in cold sweat clinging to his skin, his muscles tensed as if in spasm, and his mind still in disarray.

A knife was still embedded in Qin Chu’s arm, fresh blood gushing from the wound.

Shaye had done it.

The mont was brief, Shaye only saw Qin Chu suddenly freeze in place, trembling violently, unaware of what Qin Chu had seen. She tried to awaken him, but failed, as Qin Chu couldn’t hear her.

Shaye could feel that the Compulsory Calmness Power had been activated dozens of tis in an extrely short period, yet it still couldn’t snap Qin Chu out of the hallucination.

In such a critical mont, Shaye chose a simple yet very effective thod—she stabbed Qin Chu directly, using the extre pain to bring him back to his senses.

It seed to work quite well.

Shaye could feel signs of spiritual contamination erging on Qin Chu.

She didn’t say much, but hovered near Qin Chu with a solemn expression. She glanced at Qin Chu and then at those scrolls, who could have imagined such weird and evil things stored in the Holy Daughter’s boudoir of the Holy Court.

After a long ti, Qin Chu took a deep breath and finally stood up, his trembling body gradually calming down. He pulled out the knife, a Water Healing Technique gradually healing the wound.

With so trepidation, he glanced at the seven scrolls. Rose Vesper, this woman, had hidden depths beyond Qin Chu’s imagination.

The scrolls—one nearly took Qin Chu’s life, and here there were seven of them.

He didn’t know what lurked within those scrolls, but Qin Chu had a premonition—if these scrolls were left for Rose Vesper to study, one day this woman would beco his most fearso enemy.

The awakened Qin Chu didn’t ntion the scrolls at all but simply secured his storage ring quietly.

Yet, the images he had seen left an unforgettable impression in Qin Chu’s mind—what exactly was that giant eyeball-covered sphere?

What existence was imprisoned in that cage at the end of the Void?

What did those other six scrolls represent?

He felt as if he had inadvertently entangled himself into so indescribable trouble.

Although puzzled, Qin Chu was well aware that it wasn’t sothing he could delve into now, at least not before his strength reached first-week levels or beyond. Qin Chu definitely would not recklessly touch these weird scrolls again.

After tidying up, Qin Chu quickly withdrew downstairs; he hadn’t yet found the true objective of this mission—the remaining six bottles of Enchanting Love Potion.

He had thought they might be hidden behind those Magic Restrictions; who would have guessed that even more terrifying things lurked within.

The remaining places to search were just the desk, wardrobe, under the bed...

But Rose Vesper was a very cautious woman; such important items wouldn’t likely be carelessly placed in such conspicuous spots—that was sothing Catherine would do...

Enchanting Love Potion, Rose Vesper might be carrying it with her?

While muttering to himself inwardly, Qin Chu casually pulled open the desk drawer.

Inside was a photograph of soone... Difficult to say. At first glance, Qin Chu felt this was the type that would absolutely be lost in a crowd.

Of course, not to say it was ugly—ugliness could at least be morable in so way.

And the person in the photograph was neither tall nor short, neither fat nor thin, their skin neither dark nor light, their eyes neither large nor small.

The word "ordinary" seed to have been coined just for this person.

After looking at them, one wouldn’t retain any impression in their mind.

Only the slightly curved corners of their mouth hinted at a trace of gentleness and eeriness.

Just who was this person? Could it really be First Generation Brave Hero Jie Luo that Rose Vesper had specifically left a photograph for? Unlikely, right?

Speaking of which, Qin Chu had only heard of the First Generation Brave Hero by na and had never seen what he actually looked like.

But since he was adored by such exceptional won as Rose Vesper and Catherine, he must have been the handso, dashing type.

The person in the photograph did not fit the bill at all.

Qin Chu didn’t think much of it and casually threw the photograph aside.

Just beneath the photograph was a tal box, and Qin Chu wasn’t hopeful about it anymore.

But since he was already here!

Qin Chu still opened the box, but the mont it opened, his forehead imdiately creased.

Six bottles of pink dicine, all neatly arranged.

Damn it...

He couldn’t help but want to curse, Rose Vesper, this woman, actually just carelessly left such a precious Enchanting Love Potion in a drawer?

After wasting so much ti, to think that it was right in front of him.

For a mont, Qin Chu didn’t know how to react, and even Shaye was holding her forehead in disbelief.

...

anwhile, at the Holy Court.

Saintess Rose Vesper had returned, greeting everyone she t with a gentle smile on her face.

Even when facing nuns of much lower status, Rose Vesper treated them with due respect.

The ceremonial manners of the Holy Daughter, displayed by Rose Vesper to perfection.

This conduct also garnered her a rather good reputation, and the junior nuns who got to greet or speak with the Holy Daughter were ecstatically blushing.

However, at this mont, Rose Vesper’s mind was far from here; she was eager to hear the good news from Maggie and Sana.

But when Rose Vesper arrived at her residence, she didn’t notice Maggie and Sana’s presence.

This made Rose Vesper frown slightly, typically, if they had completed their mission, they would be waiting at the door to report.

A bad premonition slightly erged in Rose Vesper’s heart; could sothing have gone wrong with their mission?

It was impossible, Maggie and Sana’s abilities weren’t enough to contend with the top experts, but dealing with a restricted Angelica should have been easy, right?

Perhaps, Maggie and Sana were just delayed by sothing else?

While comforting herself in her mind, Rose Vesper took out the key to unlock the door; but just as her pale hand picked up the copper lock hanging on the door, she suddenly realized the lock had been broken.

Rose Vesper’s complexion changed drastically in an instant.

Without any hesitation, Rose Vesper pushed the door open, and upon seeing the state of her room, her brain buzzed, and she nearly fainted.

The room looked like it had been torn apart by dozens of huskies, an animal nad by the First Generation Brave Hero.

The bed was a complete ss, clothes were scattered all over from the ransacked wardrobe, the desk was flipped over, and even the two Magic Restrictions on the floor and wall were unlocked, with no sight of the storage rings that were kept inside.

Rose Vesper shuddered violently, and the next second, she staggered crazily upstairs.

Upstairs, the three Magic Restrictions had also been breached, with the storage rings inside gone without a trace.

In that instant, Rose Vesper felt as if all her strength had been drained, she stumbled backward two steps, leaned against the wall, and collapsed to the ground, shaking.

It’s all gone, all of it.

Seven billion mana...

Three thousand Holy Crystal Stones!

Most importantly, those seven oracles, all gone...

Who the hell did this!
