Asina also deeply disliked this attitude.
Even though such a posture, in Asina’s eyes, was nothing but a pitiful clown.
"Then what do you think, even if everything goes very smoothly according to the original plan, and Lord Jie Luo is successfully resurrected, what will happen?"
"Let tell you, Rose Vesper will find a way to eliminate , you, Sister Catherine, and the betrayed Aileen the day before Jie Luo’s resurrection."
"Even if Jie Luo is resurrected, only Rose Vesper will be by his side."
Of course, Rose Vesper was also the one being kept in the dark... When everyone is an insider, the only one who isn’t becos the insider.
Almost every mber of the forr Hero Team had secrets in their hearts that they didn’t want the others to know.
The plan had already collapsed; Jie Luo was impossible to resurrect.
Whether this was her true thought or just an excuse, this was Silf’s stance, and she no longer wished to contribute anything more to the resurrection of Jie Luo.
As she spoke, Silf tore off a piece of rabbit at and threw it to Asina.
Asina felt slightly irritated, chewing in small bites. As she gently swallowed with her slender neck, there was an exotic and enchanting allure to her.
Although it was just simple roasted at, her lips were greasy after eating, and there was an uncomfortable oily feeling deep inside her mouth.
Silf took out a pink bottle from her storage ring, of which the contents were either a drink or a magic potion. She gulped down most of the bottle and then handed it to Asina.
When out and about, there weren’t so many taboos.
Asina took the bottle and shook it slightly. The pale pink liquid swayed softly inside, looking quite appetizing.
"What is this?" Asina asked with so confusion.
"It’s bought from the Mage Association, said to be suitable for magicians when traveling. It can serve as a drink and also speed up the recovery of magic power and physical strength," Silf explained briefly.
She had prepared a lot of it before leaving Qin Chu’s palace.
But the last two bottles she drank recently tasted a bit off, seemingly sweeter.
Perhaps it was because she had just eaten the roasted at, which left her mouth dry and salty. Silf didn’t think much of it.
Indeed, she could feel a faint magic power fluctuation. Moreover, since Silf had already drunk half a bottle herself, Asina no longer hesitated and downed the remainder in one gulp.
Not even a drop was left.
There was no choice; in the vast wilderness, food and water were extrely precious resources.
Although they had prepared a lot of things before heading out, the ti and effort spent on this trip had still exceeded expectations.
Asina’s pink tongue swept over her lips, swallowing even the last drop on her lips, then turned to Silf, "Silf, what do you think of Jie Luo?"
"Jie Luo?" Silf knitted her brows tightly. She seed troubled and took a while before speaking, "To be honest, to this day, I still have no idea why Jie Luo chose to be a mber of the Hero Team."
"Before, I never questioned this issue."
"But now, I feel sothing is strange. Although I was a fugitive like Carl, Muse, Benson, and Ronald, there should have been so differences, right? Who knows, maybe it was simply because my Elf identity was sowhat special?"
"Moreover, I find it even more strange now, why did I end up liking Jie Luo? I’m not like you; after all, he did save you from that magician. Such a thing has never happened to . Was it rely because we spent a lot of ti together?"
Asina’s brows were tightly furrowed. Was Silf thinking the sa way?
But unlike her, Silf wasn’t so full of doubts; she didn’t dwell too much on this question.

Muttering to herself, she then stood up, dusting off the gri and fallen leaves clinging to her maid costu’s skirt, Silf said, "It’s about ti we continued our search."
"If the information we gathered earlier is correct, the suspected site of a teorite’s fall in the year Lord Jie Luo died should be in these mountain forests..."
Silf looked up at the towering peaks before her, feeling an inexplicable sense of frustration in her heart.
Searching for a small crystal stone in such a vast area was bound to be extrely challenging.
Asina also nodded and stood up, "Perhaps we can look for so help."
"Help?" Silf grew even more puzzled.
Then, she watched as Asina took out a flute from her space ring and, after a brief mont of hesitation, began to play it.
Hiss...
The mont she heard that sound, Silf instinctively covered her ears.
My God, what kind of flute could make such a weird noise?
It sounded like a sawtooth frantically scraping against a steel bar, hoarse, shrill, and as unpleasant as sounds could be.
After just a few seconds of listening, Silf felt her scalp tingle and her ears nearly pierced through.
What drove Silf to the brink was that, accompanied by the extrely unpleasant flute music, a rustling sound began to erge around her, as if countless small animals were scurrying rapidly through the underbrush and on the ground.
Taking advantage of the moonlight, Silf looked around.
The next instant, goosebumps imdiately covered her fair skin.
What on earth were those?
The ground was teeming with a layer of gray and black mice, large and small. Almost every place her eyes could reach was stuffed with these ugly and filthy creatures.
Pair after pair of bean-sized eyes glead with a weird red light.
Not just on the ground, even the nearby branches were crawling with rats and squirrels, along with so rodent species she couldn’t na.
"Hey, Asina, what are you doing?"
"Since when did you start practicing such... oh, disgusting magic?" Silf was on the verge of collapse, nearly ready to hurl a spell out.
She just couldn’t deal with things like cockroaches and rats.
Asina didn’t answer, the flute music continuing, suddenly rising to a high pitch.
Countless rodents around them shuddered as if stimulated, their fur standing on end.
After a few seconds, Asina seed to issue a command to these rodents through the music.
The swarms of mice suddenly turned and spread rapidly in all directions.
Finally, the flute was removed from Asina’s lips.
With so many helpers, finding Lord Jie Luo’s soul fragnt should be quite likely, shouldn’t it?
But this ti, Asina wasn’t planning to hand over the soul fragnt to Rose Vesper or to Qin Chu imdiately.
She wanted to decipher the information stored in the soul fragnt herself, as soon as she got hold of it.
