If he was too ostentatious, he might catch the Demon King Nage’s attention, who would suspect him of conspiring for power and simply erase him with a wave of his hand.
Horus had said that he would beco stronger than the Demon King, but as it stood now, the Demon King could erase him with just a flick of his wrist.
Because Candice had instructed him to keep a low profile, Romon had shrunk his body from several dozen ters to just five or six ters.
Low enough, right?
This size went practically unnoticed in Demon King City.
Yes, Romon could adjust his size at will, but he habitually preferred to maximize his body size no matter the situation because he felt it made him more imposing.
While Romon was lost in his thoughts, suddenly, with a loud ’bang’, his head seed to hit sothing, sending a surprising amount of elasticity his way. Romon’s body involuntarily moved backward, and he couldn’t help but fall on his bottom.
This instantly ignited Romon’s rage. Who the hell doesn’t watch where they’re going? Couldn’t they see soone... no, a demon was in front?
His fierce eyes glared ahead, only to see a massive spherical object of bright blue color right in front of him, at least ten ters in diater.
Romon imdiately recognized the identity of the other party—Korclaf, the Sli King, one of the Seventeen Abyss Demon Generals.
The king among the Sli clan.
Slis were the most nurous among the demons, even more so than goblins, and were also weaker than goblins, essentially the weakest of demons.
They could even be terd the sha of demons.
Even a human child about ten years old, ard with a wooden stick, could defeat a sli.
Yet, from such a frail species, there erged an anomaly. Its size broke all bounds of its kin, inflating almost limitlessly and growing bigger and bigger.
Everything it enveloped, whether rocks, trees, or even living humans and demons, could be rapidly digested and converted into its own energy.
Using this unique talent, Korclaf’s level escalated quickly, and his power increased trendously, eventually earning him a spot among the Abyss Seventeen Demon Generals.
Of course, while Korclaf was powerful, Romon was by no ans a weakling.
A re Sli, daring to knock him over? Where was the dignity of the Seventh Prince?
This could not be tolerated, absolutely not.
Romon’s face instantly twisted into a fierce and savage snarl, and with a roar, his body suddenly swelled, a massive fifty-ter creature looming before Korclaf, his fist large as a small hill smashing down towards the Sli King’s spherical head.
Seeing that, it seed he intended to smash the gigantic, rounded sphere outright.
At this scene, a group of demons watching burst into uproarious cheers, excited by the spectacle.
One was the recently famous Seventh Prince, Romon; the other was Korclaf, one of the Abyss Demon Generals. If these two fought, it would definitely be interesting, and so demons even quickly set up a betting pool nearby, ready to wager on who would win.
Just as the massive fist was about to smash down, Romon suddenly rembered the instructions from Candice and Horus. In the next second, his descending fist abruptly opened and slowed in mid-air.
The fuzzy paw gently stroked Korclaf’s sleek head:
"Oh, it’s Lord Korclaf, isn’t it? Long ti no see, I hope I didn’t hurt you just now?"
Pfft...
Like a muffled thunder, this voice still echoed around the ears of many demons nearby.
Who knows how many demons couldn’t hold back and just spat out their saliva, their shocked expressions were clearly visible on their chaotic faces.
My Demon King above.
Was this the temperantal Seventh Prince they knew?
When had he beco so easy to talk to?
With Romon’s personality, shouldn’t he have started by rampantly causing destruction without distinguishing right from wrong?
Even Korclaf’s rounded body stiffened, its bright blue liquid contents shifting constantly. It seed even he hadn’t expected Romon to suddenly change his behavior, his head... well, his whole body which was basically his head, beaded with a large drop of sweat:
"Cough, cough, I... I’m fine... How about you, Lord Romon?"
"Ahahaha, I’m good too. By the way, Lord Korclaf, co to my territory for a drink soti. I’ve recently acquired quite a few fine wines from the humans," Romon said with a hearty laugh.
Candice had instructed him, and this would help narrow the gap between demon... or rather, between demons.
"Definitely, definitely..." Korclaf nodded, wiggling his spherical body.
Watching as Romon shrunk down and happily strode forward.
The onlookers among the demons were all wide-eyed, feeling as if they had witnessed an illusion.
Romon also felt frustrated suppressing himself like this, but for the throne of the Demon King, he was willing to endure, unsure if this act had earned him any favor.
Just then, Romon’s eyes brightened as he spotted a familiar figure not far ahead.
It was a lady who looked almost exactly like a human female, except for a pair of black wings on her back... If judged by human standards, she would definitely be considered a great beauty.
