Muse’s face was ashen.

He had a rare mont of insight and realized that Asina seed to be manipulated by the woman in black stockings, who had altered her mories and consciousness.

He tried to awaken Asina’s consciousness, even if it ant dying here himself, as long as Asina could escape with Jie Luo’s Soul Fragnt, there was still hope for Jie Luo’s resurrection.

But now that Soul Fragnt had been handed over to Qin Chu by Asina, all hope was lost at this mont.

Qin Chu knew the plans of the forr Hero Team mbers, aware that they wanted to kill him.

Given the cruelty and malice shown by this Second Generation Brave Warrior, it was almost certain how Qin Chu would treat this Soul Fragnt.

For a mont, Muse struggled desperately on the ground.

A gash was torn across his torso, and his body was riddled with diseases; any normal person in this condition wouldn’t stand a chance of getting up, yet Muse managed to stand up by sheer willpower.

Although staggering, he seed ready to fall at any mont.

Dark brown blood hung from the corners of his mouth, and with his hands dragging the Battle Axe, he slowly moved toward Qin Chu step by step.

He wanted to snatch back Jie Luo’s Soul Fragnt.

He didn’t want to lose this last hope, knowing well that he was in no position or caliber to confront Qin Chu, yet he still refused to give up.

Unwilling!

It had to be said, his feelings for Jie Luo were indeed very deep.

Qin Chu even wondered if he was like Ronald.

Jie Luo was indeed popular, especially among n...

Qin Chu simply watched the Soul Fragnt in his hand, a smile full of his face, while his other hand gently patted Asina’s forehead, "Good girl, well done."

The praise from her master made Asina feel very comfortable and happy.

Nestled in her master’s arms, feeling the warmth and heartbeat of Qin Chu, she didn’t dislike this feeling.

But, deep within Asina’s heart, there was always an inexplicable discomfort.

Faintly, she felt sothing was amiss but couldn’t pinpoint what it was exactly.

She wondered why she had fallen for Jie Luo. Was it just because Jie Luo had saved her? But why had she never felt disgust for Jie Luo over all those years after that? Even after Jie Luo had died, she still couldn’t forget about him.

Was her feeling that deep?

If her feelings for Jie Luo were really that profound, then why, after comparing Jie Luo and Qin Chu, did she conclude that Jie Luo was inferior to Qin Chu? Even her feelings for Jie Luo had begun to fade slowly.

Asina further wondered why she had fallen for Qin Chu!

In her mory, she only made a deal with Qin Chu, trading her body for Qin Chu’s provision of blood to resurrect Jie Luo.

Her body was toyed with by Qin Chu in all sorts of ways, although initially she despised it, at what point did she start to not hate it as much and quietly endure Qin Chu’s ravaging? Even enjoying it?

And when had it started that in the tis Qin Chu didn’t seek her out, she felt lonely and even longed for him?

Could it be... that because it happened so often, she had fallen for Qin Chu?

Asina’s cheeks flushed red, if that was really the case, then she was indeed quite shaless.

Asina sharply sensed that her mories seed to be missing sothing, making her feel very uneasy.

Yet, strangely, the thought of investigating what was missing was not very strong, as if a voice in her head was telling her...

Why care so much, isn’t it pretty good as it is now?

Qin Chu saw all the changes in Asina’s expressions, guessing that she must be feeling bewildered right now.

A peculiar thought crossed his mind, wondering how interesting it would be if Asina personally killed Muse, Aili, Aileen... those forr mbers of the Hero Team.

He casually glanced at Muse.

The man was struggling frantically to move toward him. His injuries and diseases were too severe; even though the distance wasn’t far, it would still take a long ti for him to reach him.

Qin Chu handed the Soul Fragnt to Ireta.

He wanted to know exactly what was recorded in this Soul Fragnt.

Each added Soul Fragnt deepened his understanding of what had happened in the past.

He didn’t even avoid Muse and Asina.

Ireta nodded, her slender fingers pinching the Soul Fragnt, her eyes slightly squinted, and her powerful Soul Power gradually began to penetrate to the deepest part of the Soul Fragnt.

Asina quietly watched the scene.

Her chestnut eyes seed to peer through the unusual arcs.

Those were Ireta’s soul threads.

The threads were searching every corner within the Soul Fragnt.

Asina furrowed her brows, "Master, this Soul Fragnt is empty..."

Qin Chu laughed, "So things, you just can’t see."

After a while, Ireta’s icy voice finally ca through; however, judging just from the content recorded in this Soul Fragnt, it was difficult to determine exactly what point in ti it was from.

That was First Generation Jie Luo, recording everything Second Generation Jie Luo did.

"That damned Goddess, how many Earthlings has she thrown into this world? What exactly does she want to do?"

"Are these all Heroes? Could it be that the Goddess wants to choose the most talented one from among them to save this world?"

"Please, that’s impossible. Every Earthling who just ca to this world is found by that guy, Second Generation Jie Luo, and then killed."

The words spoken by Ireta made Muse halt in his tracks.

And left Asina’s face full of surprise.

Is this content recorded in Jie Luo’s Soul Fragnt?

But what’s the deal with Second Generation Jie Luo?

Asina’s already bewildered mind beca even more chaotic at this mont, feeling the situation might be even more complex than she knew.

Ireta, indifferent to the confusion of Muse and Asina, continued in her detached tone, interpreting the content of the Soul Fragnt:

"Damn it, another unlucky soul was discovered by Second Generation Jie Luo; this person is dood to die a horrible death because he’s followed by Karsas and Benson, two murderous demons... The only consolation is, that freak, Muse, isn’t here."

"Poor fool, seems he had been wandering in the dense forest for quite a while and, seeing a person at long last, he thought he had encountered his own kind and joyfully approached to greet them."

"This damned one, who stole my mories, shalessly said he thought of a brand-new ga called ’soccer.’"

"Karsas and Benson turned that poor Earthling into a soccer ball using a sack."

"They, wanting to prolong the tornt, deliberately did not use Fighting Energy and even made the victim wear tal armor."

"But, even so, they are of Martial God Level."

"They kicked around for several hours, and when they finally stopped and opened the sack, there was nothing left but a pulp inside; flesh and bones had all been shattered into bits, mixed together."

"After enduring such long tornt, this poor guy finally died. I hope in his next life he won’t be so unfortunate as to traverse to a Different World."

Asina couldn’t determine if this was truly the content preserved in the Soul Fragnt, but it indeed seed like sothing Jie Luo, Karsas, and Benson would do.

Qin Chu also deliberately did not give Asina a precise response, letting her speculate wildly.

"Second Generation Jie Luo discovered a mysterious place, intentionally avoiding all mbers of the Hero Team, going there alone."

"Oh, my God."

"What did I see?"

"That was a huge heart, as large as a mountain."

Qin Chu’s brow furrowed slightly, a heart?

Whose heart?

As large as a mountain!

Qin Chu’s mind inadvertently conjured up the ssages left by the long-fallen Fire God he received in the Fla Temple.

In the Void, there are eight Evil Gods... besides the seven he knew, there was an eighth and most powerful Evil God.

A thousand years ago, the fall of the Gods was the masterpiece of that Eighth Evil God.

According to the Fire God, that guy’s body was as vast as the stars, and the powerful deities of the Sky Do Continent were no match for the Eighth Evil God.

In the end, relying on sheer numbers, they managed to slay the Eighth Evil God.

The body of the Eighth Evil God was divided into seven parts: the head, limbs, and torso... even the heart was taken out, all scattered across the Sky Do Continent.

When he first learned this, Qin Chu couldn’t help but comnt in his mind that this guy’s death was quite similar to his own.

The only difference was that his own heart hadn’t been taken out separately.

Now, hearing about the content recorded in the Soul Fragnt, the mountain-sized heart, the first thought that ca to mind was, could this be the heart of the Eighth Evil God, the Strongest Evil God?

Couldn’t be, couldn’t be... It’s been a thousand years, wouldn’t the heart have rotted by now?

But then again, that was an Evil God, and it seed nothing was too strange.

"My God, just a heart as big as a mountain, how vast must the owner, the body of this heart, be?"

"Speaking of which, the heart has been taken out separately and yet hasn’t rotted, looking lively as ever, even feeling the flow of fresh blood within."

"Even a single heart exudes a pressure akin to storms, tsunamis, and earthquakes. Though I don’t want to admit it, the despicable being who stole my body does actually have pretty impressive strength, but the overwhelming oppression made it impossible for him to approach too closely, he could only observe from afar."

"Damn, that’s weird."

First Generation Jie Luo made a comnt.

"Moreover, what irks more is that the aura on this heart seems sowhat similar to those beings in the Void."

With a thought, Qin Chu beca increasingly convinced of his own speculation.

"Second Generation Jie Luo felt the surging energy contained in this heart; what a greedy bastard, he actually fantasized about taking this heart’s power for himself."

"Enduring the overwhelming pressure, this kid actually stepped towards the heart."

"With much effort, he finally approached that huge heart, I could feel his face contorting, and he finally reached out his claw, touching the enormous heart, then..."

"...the heart thumped!"

Fuck!
