The flas released by the flamingos were not very powerful, only akin to that of Small Fireballs.

However, when tens of thousands of flamingos released flas simultaneously, the power beca extrely exaggerated in an instant, as flas fell like raindrops from the sky, almost enveloping every corner of the forest.

The scene was like a teor shower, filled with an abnormally beautiful aesthetic.

Yet, within this beauty lay a heart-palpitating terror.

The flas fell on tree trunks, branches, leaves, and onto the ground. If it were just a cluster of Small Fireballs, it would be difficult to ignite the damp leaves, but as the dense flas fell together, the moisture was quickly evaporated.

Then, the dry leaves and branches swiftly beca the best fuel, and with crackling sounds, flas rapidly rose within the encirclent.

Thick black smoke tumbled in the sky, cloaking everything like dark clouds.

The heat from the flas made the air appear sowhat distorted, as the moisture in the tree trunks also rapidly evaporated.

For a ti, the whole jungle was nothing but burning flas, completely transford into a sea of fire.

Rolling heatwaves hit Luo ng, making the mane on his body flutter, with crimson flas dancing in his large eyes.

Excitent was written all over his face.

Burn, burn.

This conflagration would aid him in his complete victory!

He was none other than Luo ng, the Seventh Prince of the demons. What was wrong with setting a forest on fire?

Who could do anything to him?

Besides, if he could catch Ronald and Aileen in the process, even if it was just one of them, that would constitute a great achievent.

Compared to the gains, these were not losses at all, perfectly bearable.

The most important thing was that this was not his territory, but that of his Third Sister...

Even if his Third Sister’s territory turned to ashes, what did that have to do with him, not even half a Mana?

Damn it!

Ronald let out a low curse.

Aileen held his wrist, hiding their tracks.

Yet this thod made their movent quite clumsy. It was impossible to completely dodge the dense falling fire sparks from the sky; a cluster of flas landed on his hair, burning off a large section of his precious hair, and even exposed his scalp in so areas.

Despicable, despicable, despicable...

He could imagine just how ugly and wretched he must look right now.

Thick black smoke invaded his nostrils, causing Ronald and Aileen to cough violently.

The flas were not enough to kill them, but they greatly hindered their movent. Everywhere they looked was engulfed in red.

When did that idiot Luo ng beco so smart as to attack in this manner?

This was entirely out of their plans.

Ronald wanted to speak, but as soon as he opened his mouth, he was imdiately filled with filthy dirt and the taste of ashes from vegetation made him spit continuously.

His nostrils were almost clogged with ash, making breathing exceedingly difficult.

Ronald didn’t realize that it wasn’t because his nose was blocked, but because the whole forest was burning fiercely, causing a sudden depletion of oxygen and causing them to show symptoms of hypoxia.

But both Ronald and Aileen were very powerful. Even with the lack of oxygen, they could survive for a long ti and wouldn’t die so easily.

However, if they kept trapped here, their fate would be no different from that of the animals burned to death.

They wanted to escape, but at this mont, they couldn’t even determine the direction; the wildfire had covered everything. They could only stumble forward blindly, with Ronald’s body carrying many Water Magic Scrolls but daring not to use them for fear of being discovered the mont he did.

Moreover, compared to the endless flas around them, these Water Magic Scrolls were truly a case of "a drop in the bucket."

They could only struggle desperately in the burning flas, dodging, their body temperature rising higher and higher, their skin cracking and drying out, the soles of their shoes seeming almost to lt, sending waves of scorching heat... Suddenly, Ronald’s ears caught a strange noise.

A rotten tree trunk apparently couldn’t withstand the scorch of the flas, cracking with a creak, toppling directly in the direction of Ronald and Aileen.

This kind of situation happened often but wasn’t always easy to avoid, particularly when the two were holding hands.

re monts before the falling trunk could hit them, Ronald swung his other hand and sent forth Sword Qi, splitting the trunk into pieces with a "whoosh."

This action caught the attention of Luo ng, who had been watching the sea of fire, and a ferocious smile spread across his face.

He opened his gaping maw, truly deserving the description of a gaping mouth.

"Finally found you... sneaky rats scurrying everywhere."

The next second, Luo ng’s body shot into the fiery inferno with a whoosh.

Regardless of the flas scorching his body, his robust physique allowed Luo ng to disregard such minor injuries.

His body was like a bulldozer, rumbling with each movent, the ground bouncing each ti his footprints made the earth churn up billowing clouds of dust.

Encountering a large tree ablaze in his path, he showed no courtesy, casually waving his hand and sending it flying.

The tall trees, before Luo ng, were as fragile as little tree seedlings, and huge rocks were trampled into fragnts by his massive toes; resolutely, he forged a pathway through the sea of fire.

Ronald and Aileen also felt the tremors from the ground, aware that Luo ng had started to act.

However, the sky-shrouding flas and black smoke prevented them from seeing the distant scenes, and they instinctively felt that to remain in place would be very ill-advised, so they subconsciously fled towards an area where the flas were slightly less intense.

Just as they had left the spot, whoosh, a thick, dark breath was sprayed directly at their previous location, crashing down.

A loud boom followed, an intense explosion.

This move was nad by Luo ng as the Demon King’s Breath.

But the na was so ostentatious that Luo ng always hesitated to call it out in public.

The dark and sinister energy, mixed with scorching heat, instantly turned into a violent shockwave that spread in all directions.

Ronald and Aileen, who had not fled far, were imdiately caught by the blast, their bodies nearly simultaneously blown away, and in mid-air, they uncontrollably let go of the hands they had been holding.

Without Aileen’s help, Ronald’s body finally beca visible in mid-air.

The sight caused Aileen’s complexion to change dramatically; she twisted agilely in the air, lightly touching her toes on a large tree and then rushing towards Ronald with lightning speed.

She knew that without her assistance, Ronald would soon be surrounded by demons.

Her relationship with Ronald was quite good; she couldn’t bear to see Ronald die at the claws of demons, and most importantly, the losses of the Hero Team had already been too great. Karsas and Benson were already dead, and if Ronald too...

That consequence was unbearable.

Compared to Aileen’s urgency, Ronald, in this mont, displayed a man’s courage.

Perhaps already knowing that he had no future and was destined not to escape from this place, Ronald steeled his heart, and a sharp, slender sword that looked more like a ceremonial weapon appeared in his palm.

With a flick of his wrist, lethal Sword Qi burst forth from the blade, whooshing towards Aileen.

Aileen was forced to stop, suddenly finding herself without leverage in mid-air and abruptly retreating.

"Ronald, what are you doing?" Aileen shrieked.

Her dark brown hair was now a disheveled ss, and she vaguely knew what Ronald intended to do; her pretty face was filled with sorrow, and her gem-like orange eyes misted over with a layer of moisture.

"Leave this place..." Ronald issued a deep voice.

His body landed on a large tree that was burning fiercely.

"If both of us stay, neither of us will survive, but if you’re alone, they can’t catch you," Ronald spoke quietly.

"I’ll attract Luo ng and those demon masters here, and you take the chance to escape. Quick, it’ll be too late soon."

"The task of resurrecting Jie Luo, I’ll leave it in your hands."

Ronald took a deep breath, fixing his gaze ahead.

Thick black fog obscured his vision, but he could feel that Luo ng would erge from there.

"Right, before you kill Qin Chu, you should torture him for a while..." A twisted smile spread across Ronald’s face: "Don’t let him die too easily, that damn bastard, if it wasn’t for him, Karsas and Benson wouldn’t have died."

To not have the opportunity to teach the Second Generation Brave Warrior a lesson was truly regrettable.

Seeing Aileen still lingering on the spot, Ronald’s expression grew increasingly cold: "Get lost, resurrecting Jie Luo is the most important task."

Aileen clenched her teeth, staring at Ronald for two seconds before she bit down hard and her body vanished from the spot, just as Ronald had said, this was her only chance to escape. Taking advantage of Luo ng and a large number of demon masters being here, she could break through the encirclent and slip away.

If she tried to take Ronald with her, it would be impossible.

At the mont her figure disappeared, two crystal-clear teardrops fell from the corner of her eyes, rolling down her cheeks.

Could this be the first ti the mbers of the Hero Team showed their feelings for each other?

It was indeed touching.

Watching Aileen’s figure vanish before him, Ronald let out a long sigh; next, he would have to do his utmost to stop Luo ng and the nurous demon masters here, right?

It was going to be troubleso.

But they would witness the strength of the noble Son.

Clenching his teeth, Ronald intended to rush at Luo ng.

But just at this mont, Ronald suddenly rembered sothing very important.

He should have given Jie Luo’s Soul Fragnt to Aileen, to take with her—that was the result of his hard work here for a long period.

If he couldn’t take that out with him, wouldn’t his death be in vain?

"Wait, Aileen, co back..."
