Although Qin Chu felt that these patrol soldiers weren’t of much use.

If the mysterious entity in the Void really wanted to corrupt this world, these pitiful soldiers would be the first to fall, utterly helpless against the onslaught.

So of the magic lamps were broken due to the previous chaos and impact, leaving the streets flickering between light and dark.

Patrol Soldiers walked past Qin Chu, greeting him with friendly respect. Rumors spread quickly, and though the incident had happened at night, gossip is in people’s nature.

Qin Chu had saved tens of thousands of humans from the corrosion of the Evil God, under the envelopnt of the crimson light. News of this act had spread rapidly.

Tales of angels descending, of being the envoy of the Holy Light Goddess, filled the streets, and these rumors had morphed during their spread, to the extent that so claid Qin Chu to be the reincarnation of the Holy Light Goddess...

Reincarnation my ass, I’m a man.

He muttered, his face carrying a gentle smile as he responded to the saluting soldiers.

The morning sun had just begun to drive away the damp curtain of the night as Qin Chu arrived at the entrance of a bar.

Inside the bar was the sexy and seductive owner, Candice.

She seed to have just ended the night’s work, yawning as she prepared to take a short rest, but her eyes suddenly brightened when she saw Qin Chu.

Swaying with a sultry air, still carrying the scent of alcohol, she walked out from behind the bar, effortlessly picking up a completely drunk patron and carelessly tossing him outside the entrance.

"Isn’t that a bit harsh for treating a bar’s patrons?" Qin Chu couldn’t help but say, "After all, they’ve spent their money here."

Candice was indifferent: "Doesn’t matter, when they wake up they’ll only think they passed out outside. Besides, this happens often. Or do you want to treat them gently?"

"Let’s forget that. I hope you reserve your gentleness for ," Qin Chu answered very honestly.

Candice laugh a little fox-like and invited Qin Chu into the bar. Closing the door, she turned and leapt into Qin Chu’s arms, delivering a kiss full of Enchanting Demon charm.

Her eyes were filled with infatuation.

It had been only a few days, but to Candice, it had felt like an eternity.

Lord Horus is always so charismatic.

The almost suffocating kiss finally ended, but Candice did not leave Qin Chu’s embrace. Her purple hair was slightly disheveled, her alluring eyes brimming with deep affection.

It must be said that with even just half-blood heritage, Candice’s charm was enough to drive anyone mad.

Silf’s attempts to flirt with Qin Chu were crude and incapable of eliciting a reaction from him.

"My dearest Horus, how should I address you now? Divine Envoy? Descended angel, or Hero?"

"You know about this too?" Qin Chu touched his nose, feeling sowhat embarrassed; these titles seed rather shaful to him.

"A bar is always a hub for information," Candice smiled. "And I’m also a spy. I wouldn’t claim to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the events in Orville Royal City, but I definitely know more than you’d imagine. By the way, what do you think our relationship is now? Lovers? Would that be more exciting?"

Candice’s bewitching eyes twinkled with a strange light, seemingly thrilled by the notion which bore a resemblance to the excitent of an illicit affair.

Strange preference.

"I’m not married, so it wouldn’t be an affair... but you are mine," Qin Chu emphasized.

Candice was very pleased with the response, and she pecked Qin Chu’s lips lightly: "So when does Lord Horus plan to turn from a girl into a true woman?"

The provocative voice, the voluptuous body in his arms.

Worthy of being an Enchanting Demon, every move she made was laced with an irresistible charm.

However, this situation did not last long as Candice’s expression grew serious. She knew that Lord Horus had co to see her for sothing important, and she was not in a rush.

She was enjoying this sensation, this anticipation and waiting, which was a happiness in itself.

Moreover, she had already received much from Lord Horus and did not yearn for more.

She longed for peace in the world,

for a most blissful night with Lord Horus once everything was settled.

And she had an important question to ask Lord Horus:

"What exactly is that crimson?"

"A divine being in the Void, one of those that shackles this world," Qin Chu simply replied.

Candice was sowhat shocked: "Knowing you’re both the Hero and Horus, I thought you were deceiving ..."

"While there are parts where I’ve deceived you, at least this isn’t one of them," Qin Chu sighed sowhat helplessly: "Honestly, I wish there weren’t so many nuisances in the Void casting their gaze upon this world."

He wasn’t concerned with what the world would turn into, but being the primary target of such scrutiny did not please Qin Chu.

"However, they can’t co down for the ti being, so there’s no need to worry for now."

How long this would last, Qin Chu was unsure.

But he had a feeling that the Goddess in the Void Cage wouldn’t hold out for much longer.
