Such a good person was rcilessly killed by Karsas.
At this mont, Norma had completely lost hope in Karsas, just as Mr. Qin had said before, Karsas had long been invaded by the will of the Evil God, and the current Karsas could hardly be considered human.
Enshrouded in a thick stench of blood, with heads hanging around his waist, he was like a demon walking out of a sea of blood... Perhaps, the mont Karsas first ca into contact with dark power, this end was destined.
All her efforts and sacrifices had been in vain.
Just now, he even wanted to kill her along with himself.
If it weren’t for Mr. Qin pushing her away in ti, his fate would have been her own.
She finally understood what Qin Chu had said, to face her power directly. This was her talent, to not run away from it but to use it to protect those she valued.
But by the ti Norma finally realized this, it was already too late.
Ha-ha-ha-ha...
Outside the window, Karsas was still laughing maniacally, his body surging with blood. Did a re Qin Chu really think he could oppose him?
This foolish man, did he not realize that without Violet, without Catherine, without Asina... a re Hero was not his match at all? Karsas thought that killing him would be as easy as crushing an ant.
The crimson light in his eyes was fixated on Qin Chu, wanting to see the agonized and desperate visage of Qin Chu close to death, watching him struggle in a pool of blood, which would bring Karsas the utmost pleasure.
But the laughter abruptly stopped, the helt hiding the crimson light suddenly filled with shocked leaps. That red light carried a heavy incredulity, a hand pointing toward Norma...
...behind her.
A muffled roar ca out of his mouth.
Right behind Norma, Qin Chu had actually risen from the ground, his face showing no sign of pain, looking as though he hadn’t been injured at all. He scratched his head, then grabbed the crimson long spear, forcefully pulling it out of his body, his stomach wound healing at an incredibly fast rate, the blood even flowing back into the wound.
What... what kind of ability is this?
Even the Holy Court’s Great Healing Recovery Technique didn’t have such an exaggerated effect.
That wasn’t all; after the wound had completely healed, Qin Chu even stretched languidly, yawning as if he felt a bit sleepy.
Then, he extended his right hand’s third finger towards Karsas.
Although Karsas didn’t know what the gesture ant, at this mont he felt profoundly insulted, his finger trembling as he pointed at Qin Chu.
Unfortunately, at this very mont, Norma’s ntal state had clearly beco disturbed... The girl who had always been timid, due to witnessing Qin Chu being pierced by the spear and soaked in blood, suffered a great shock.
He was the only person other than her parents who truly cared about her.
Her mind was nearly on the verge of collapse; in her eyes, there was only the murderer who had killed Qin Chu in front of her, the man who had never cared for her, who only mocked and was cold, the man for whom she had endured five years of hardship, desperately wanting to save, her fiancé... Karsas!
Norma looked at Karsas pointing his finger at her and spoke with a cold, hollow voice, "You an, I’m the next one you want to kill?"
"All this ti, I struggled to save you, to free you from the clutches of darkness and malevolence, to return to a normal life. I looked everywhere in the Imperial City for soone to plead your case, to spare you from execution, but you are completely unworthy of humanity, capable of killing even Mr. Qin, such a kind person."
At this mont, Norma seed to suddenly understand that her feelings for Karsas were perhaps not true love.
It was just a false sense of responsibility, a delusion of self-righteousness.
Everything she desired, Karsas couldn’t give her, whether it was a warm ho, a sweet life, or even just a word of concern, it was beyond Karsas.
And it was this false feeling that had cost Norma five years of her youth.
Five years, that ought to be enough, right?
Karsas’ body trembled slightly, his crimson gaze carrying an eerie light, he kept pointing behind Norma, uttering unpleasant roars... That was the only sound he could make now.
He seed to want to tell Norma sothing.
"Don’t point at with your finger. I know you’re about to strike down next... For soone as bloodthirsty as you, that’s quite normal, right?"
Karsas continued to roar, appearing even sowhat impatient, and impatience made him even angrier.
"I was wrong, perhaps, I should not have saved you from the start, letting you fall into the darkness."
"But, thinking you can kill is not that easy..."
"I will kill you with my own hands."
Under extre ntal breakdown, one’s character often undergoes a great change, and terrifying strength bursts forth. At this mont, Norma cast aside all her fear, her timidity, and for the first ti confronted her own power, her true strength.
After these words, a bizarre booming sound suddenly emanated from Norma’s body.
The braids in her hair, one by one, the hair ties burst apart, and her silver strands danced wildly behind her.
These hair ties, made of Secret Silver, were also the seals that bound Norma’s strength. Norma’s magic power was so strong that she had to use these magical artifacts to suppress her own magic power; otherwise, if this wild strength were to burst forth, it could even cause catastrophic disasters.
With each exploded hair tie, Norma’s aura rose by one level.
Strength, growing stronger and stronger, the floorboards of the room below her feet already started failing to withstand the impact of the wild magic power. Starting at Norma’s feet, cracks spread outward like a spiderweb.
All seven hair ties burst apart.
The aura around Norma increased to seven tis its original level, her surging magic power as dense as ink, like a tsunami, rolling around her body, and the earth seed to be drawn by so force, shaking violently.
At this mont, Norma was on par with Nadia, Asiya, and the other Great Sages.
This was Norma’s true strength.
At this ti, the will controlling this body was not Gaia’s but Norma’s own.
Perhaps Norma herself could never have dreamt that the first ti she would unleash all her strength, it would be to confront her own fiancé.
Her empty, indifferent gaze fixed upon the blood-red figure in the sky, "Karsas, at this mont, I, Norma Miriam, break off our engagent."
Norma crouched down, a fair little hand pressing directly onto the ground.
The next instant, the entire earth shook violently, as if an earthquake had struck, and the Sikes Hotel swayed continually, as if it could collapse at any mont.
A terrifying, indescribable roar ca from deep within the earth.
Karsas, surprised, found that beneath him, a series of cracks spread at an incredible speed.
The ground split, and the earth quaked.
Pitiable was the Imperial City’s sowhat recently repaired roads and buildings due to the Prince’s previous destruction, which once again suffered intense impact.
Within the Sikes Hotel, whether resting, enjoying, striving, or working, all were hit by the severe trembling, screaming as they fled their rooms, so even too panicked to dress, as the dignity of Nobles ant nothing when compared to one’s life.
Norma’s eyes, empty and cold, stared at Karsas in midair. Her voice was icy as she spoke:
Super Order Magic, Earth Mother’s Anger!
The next mont, an enormous hand suddenly broke through the ground, each finger like a massive stone pillar, the palm as imposing as a huge mountain, entirely composed of gigantic rocks.
Firm, massive, weighty, filled with an incomparable sense of power.
Every inch the giant hand moved brought about an earth-shattering tremor.
And that wasn’t all. A large amount of earth and rocks, drawn by so force, rose into the sky and latched onto the giant hand, making it even more exaggerated in size.
This was the power of the Earth Witch!
The giant hand swung down from the sky.
With a bang, it smashed into Karsas.
