But just at that mont, Qin Chu, who had been aimlessly wandering around the Civilian District, seed to have finally found his target. He stopped drifting and headed straight in a certain direction.
Asina’s spirit perked up. If she could catch Mr. Brave slipping up, many things would beco much easier. She quickly followed after him, her full chest bouncing energetically, drawing the gaze of nearly every man in the vicinity.
That fair and delicate skin was completely different from the roughness of the won in the Civilian District, and her ample, rounded long legs were seductively charming.
Such a beauty was a rare sight in the Civilian District. In fact, so n even accidentally ran headfirst into walls.
The crowd and attention around her made Asina particularly irritable. She didn’t want to attract too much notice, for it would be troubleso if Qin Chu beca aware of her.
Fortunately, Qin Chu was truly an utter blockhead. He had not noticed the chaos behind him at all, and after a while, Asina saw him enter a tavern.
From a distance, she could see that the tavern owner was a rather pretty lady with an exceptionally hot figure...
Ssht!
Asina’s body shivered involuntarily, her forehead lined with black marks. No wonder Qin Chu sent Angelica, Violet, and Catherine away. He had actually co here to flirt with won.
The damned Mr. Brave.
Already having three outstanding won by his side, all curvaceous and beautiful, not to ntion Nadia, what else could he possibly be dissatisfied with?
Could it be that all n are like this, eating from the bowl and looking at what’s in the pot?
All of a sudden, Asina felt a wave of discouragent. If this guy didn’t have the title of Mr. Brave hanging over his head, she really wouldn’t be the slightest bit interested in him.
Feeling like she had wasted her entire afternoon on Qin Chu, watching this scumbag of a Mr. Brave trying to pick up a girl didn’t seem like an interesting affair. Yet, after giving it so thought, Asina didn’t leave. She ordered a milk tea in a beverage shop opposite the tavern and sat by the window, quietly observing.
It was dayti, not yet the hour for drinking, and Qin Chu was the only custor.
Candice was as enchanting as ever, and her strength seed to have increased a bit after not seeing her for many days.
True to what Shaye had said, that she had the makings of a Witch, her talent was indeed formidable.
But Qin Chu now knew that becoming a Witch was not an easy task. Except for Shaye, who had a natural gift, Witches like Violet obtained Divine Authority and learned the knowledge of the Gods before embarking on the path of witchcraft, their powers growing increntally along with their madness.
Although Candice was talented, she probably couldn’t reach Shaye’s level.
A long purple dress accentuated Candice’s graceful figure, and her long purple hair fell like a waterfall down her back, nearly reaching her calves, swaying gently with her movents.
Her eyes, like athysts, sparkled with vivacity, while her fair and pretty face bore a playful expression, "Mr. Brave... you are being followed... Is that woman one of your admirers? She seems quite upset that you have appeared here."
It wasn’t that Candice was stronger than Asina. Although Candice had so strength, she still had a significant gap compared to Asina, who had already reached the level of the Great Sage.
The disturbance outside was just too loud to ignore.
"Don’t worry about it. Tell , what’s new with the Demons?" Qin Chu shook his head. Without the True Eye here, and with Asina on the other side of the noisy street, there was no need to worry that his conversation with Candice would be overheard by Asina.
Qin Chu needed to always keep track of the movents on both the Demon and human sides to plan his next steps.
Without hesitation, Candice, her fair fingers pinching a glass, began to mix a drink for Qin Chu while narrating the recent movents of the Demons.
The specifics were more or less what Qin Chu knew, but there were subtle differences, so of which were very important.
"Additionally, by killing Benson, a mber of the Hero Team, Luo ng’s status among the Demons has risen dramatically," Candice’s lips curled in a sneer. That foolish Seventh Prince didn’t realize he was just a pawn being manipulated by Mr. Brave and Lord Horus, gaining so benefit only because he was still of use.
Once Luo ng had outlived his usefulness, it would be his ti to die.
"That foolish Demon seems to have gotten a bit too full of himself from all the flattery around him, becoming more ostentatious in his actions, and even starting to disregard other Princes with deeper histories."
"After all, killing a mber of the Hero Team is a first."
"Lately, Luo ng has set his sights on another mber of the Hero Team. He has heard from sowhere that a mber of the Hero Team is now within the Demon territory, and he wants to gather information, to find out who that person is, and where..." Candice looked a bit troubled.
This Luo ng was really going too far.
Headless and clueless, how was she supposed to investigate on her own? And, like before, he only promised that if she completed the task, he would be her strong backing, allowing her to gain recognition and acceptance among the Demons, without offering any tangible benefits.
Empty promises. She had already heard far too many, none of which had ever been fulfilled.
