After fainting due to hypothermia, Selene slowly woke up after she felt her body so warm. She felt sothing touching her skin, and it made her feel like she was getting her strength back.

She could also sll the scent of soone’s body that felt familiar to her, and the scent of that body made her feel calr.

"It feels so warm, don’t let go of ," she said in a trembling voice. But her eyes were still closed without her knowing who was currently near her.

"I won’t let you go," whispered a man Selene recognized.

His whisper soothed her, making Selene sink further into sleep. However, she knew she couldn’t go on like this and slowly opened her eyes.

With her heavy breathing, she saw Caelum right in front of her face with the man hugging her. Their skin was touching, with neither of them wearing any clothes.

"Caelum... What are you doing here?" she asked in a weak voice.

"Saving my woman. Your body is so cold, you got hypothermia from being in the isolation room. That’s why I brought you here," he replied.

She finally realized that she was in Caelum’s room. Her blue eyes looked around, trying to confirm that she wasn’t hallucinating anymore.

He tightened his embrace, as if feeling guilty for leaving her in such a cold room. The man never cared about anyone he threw into isolation, but not her.

As soon as Caelum found Selene unconscious in the isolation room when he finally ca to check on her, he imdiately took off his long coat and uniform coat to cover her.

Without thinking, he carried her away from there to his room to warm her up with his body.

Luckily he arrived in ti before things got worse.

"How are you feeling, feeling better?" he asked.

She nodded slowly then spoke in a voice that still sounded so weak. "Yes, it’s much better now. Thank you."

The man fell silent when he heard her thanks. Then he buried his face into her neck to warm her up. He slowly whispered sothing that made Selene imdiately open her eyes wide.

"I’m sorry."

She imdiately widened her previously closed eyes. She did not expect to hear such a whisper coming out of his mouth, because she thought soone like Caelum had a high ego.

But apparently, that ego goes down when his woman gets hurt.

"I shouldn’t have let you in that room. I shouldn’t have let my woman get hurt in a place like that," he said quietly and only Selene could hear him.

At first he was very hesitant to go there, as he did not want to cause a bigger commotion in the prison. It could later beco a big problem when an inspection ca and the prisoners said sothing about their relationship.

He could be deported to another prison, which would be far away from Selene.

"I don’t want to be transferred to another prison and away from you. However, imagining you suffering in that room makes feel miserable as well."

That was why for two days, he deliberately did not visit Selene because it was better to let Selene freeze for a few days than not see her again forever.

But he felt grateful that he decided to co and check on Selene, otherwise she would have died of hypothermia.

Hearing his explanation, Selene knew their relationship wasn’t that easy.

Although at first, she approached Caelum only to benefit from the man’s imprisonnt. However, she was trapped twice not only in Redboiler Prison but also in his heart.

"I don’t want to part with you either. I may have my body now but my heart and mind are imprisoned in yours," she said.

"It’s your own fault for stealing my heart and mind in the first place," he retorted.

She chuckled at that, teasing that Caelum had the ability to tease soone like that.

"My nature may be cold and my face may look flat. But I’m still a human being with feelings for soone," he said.

He had tried several tis to open up to the won he had been set up with when his parents were alive.

However, it all ended with them liking Cyrus more than him. That’s why he thought, it was useless if he had to open himself and his feelings if in the end he only beca the shadow of his own younger brother.

"Deep inside , I’m still a man who likes won. But they don’t like cold n like , they prefer soone like him who looks bright," he explained.

"To you’re much more attractive than a guy like Cyrus. You have a firm and dominant side, and that can make every woman’s legs so weak to kneel before you including ," Selene said with a sly grin on her face.

Hearing her explanation, Caelum felt much calr than before. He thought that there was still soone who might really like the real him and that person was Selene.

A turmoil arose within him, as soon as he heard sothing he wasn’t used to hearing. That turmoil would be wanting to possess Selene completely so that he would not have to lose soone like her.

Reflexively, he pushed Selene down on the bed when they had been sitting on it. Both of them were not wearing any clothes, other than a blanket that covered their bodies after Caelum had ward her up.

"What’s wrong? Do you intend to warm my body in so other way?" she asked in a teasing tone.

"I think so." He leaned down and kissed her deeply. Their fingers crossed over each other.

Selene closed her eyes as she kissed him back. Her lips felt so warm, let alone the body in front of her right now. A body with six pack abs, hairless but pure white.

Only, there were tons of scars left behind. Scars from his hard work in the military and learning to beco the head of the Rothwell family as expected.

As she broke the kiss, a sly grin appeared on her face. "Looks like soone is already very excited down there. I can feel the tip just keep touching ."

He gasped as Selene touched his cock, his hips feeling shaky.

"You know you’re playing with fire with a Rothwell, right? And you can’t run away from that except to take responsibility for what you’ve done," he said in a husky voice.

"If taking responsibility ans staying with you." Selene wrapped her arms around Caelum’s neck.

"Then I’ll accept it."
