Her Smile His Sentence Chapter 3: Chaotic First Day

The male prisoner, who could no longer stand Selene's indifference towards him, imdiately made a fist and swung it at the woman.

However, Selene's reflexes were much faster and she used the iron tray she was holding to kick the man's butt.

The man was instantly knocked backwards, feeling the imnse pain on his face from the heavy blow from her. However, she did not stop there.

Using the sharp side of the iron tray, Selena again beat the man's face until it was battered and even bleeding.

Everyone in the cafeteria was shocked to witness this horrific scene. Moreover, the warders who had witnessed, did not dare to break them up because Selene looked like a monster who attacked rcilessly.

"Stop! Please stop, I'm sorry!" said the male prisoner who had invited her to fight.

However, the fight did not end and the other prisoners cheered as well. Encouraging Selene to beat them up even further.

The sound of a bullet being fired made the canteen beco very quiet, after the sound of a big commotion had filled it.

Selene imdiately stopped, turning her head to the origin of the gunshots not far from them. She saw a man dressed in full uniform and wearing a cloak.

The man's face looked cold, and also showed his authoritarianism, that he was the one in charge of the prison.

"It's Chief Rothwell!" called out one of the prisoners, causing the crowd to whisper his na again.

So of them showed fear when the man arrived, others disliked his presence.

"Chief Rothwell, huh? So he's the chief warden here," Selene muttered.

She let go of the man she was beating, and dropped the iron tray that was already covered in blood from her hands onto the floor.

The sound of the tal hitting the floor made the nearby prisoners gasp in shock. Rembering those who clearly witnessed what happened a few minutes ago.

The sound of heavy footsteps could be heard, walking towards her. The now silent canteen, as the defense held their breath, saw how Chief Rothwell walked towards the new prisoner who had already made a scene on her first day in prison.

His steps then stopped right in front of Selene, making the two of them exchange glances.

"Prisoner 5621, you're making a scene in my prison. Do you know the consequences of that? Maybe you don't know yet because you're still new to this prison. But this ti I will tell you the rules and also the consequences you will receive if you make the sa mistake," he said in a firm and cold tone.

Everyone was silent waiting for Selena's reaction, when she ca face to face with the notoriously cold and cruel Chief Warden.

However, instead of the fearful reaction they got, a smile was etched on the woman's face. She walked closer, cutting the distance between them, until she was right in front of him. Allowing their bodies to touch each other.

"I didn't expect that in this boring prison with prisoners with disgusting faces. I can find a handso demon in front of ," she said which instantly made those who heard her startled.

'Did she just flirt with the Chief Warden of this dangerous prison?!'

That was what they thought when they saw the smile on Selene's face that she had not even shown since she ca to the prison.

Her beautiful blue eyes glanced at the natag worn by the chief and revealed that his na was Caelum Rothwell.

"She must be out of her mind trying to seduce Chief Rothwell!"

"I don't understand, either she's doing it on purpose or she's too stupid to realize who Chief Rothwell is!"

"That new kid has a lot of guts!"

They whispered again, watching how the Chief Warden was dealing with the female criminal who was currently trying to seduce him.

His eyes stared intently at Selene, looking at her from the top of her head to her feet. It was as if he was observing a criminal in prison who currently dared to speak to him without showing any fear at all.

There was silence between them, as well as all the prisoners in the canteen who did not dare to utter a single word.

This breakfast, which was usually so calm, had beco very tense just because of a female prisoner who had just arrived yesterday afternoon.

"My office, NOW."

Without saying another word, Caelum turned around and he walked out of the canteen with Selene following behind. A smirk appeared on her face, accompanying her as she walked towards the Chief Warden's office.

Once they were inside Caelum's office, he sat down in his chair and looked at Selene standing in front of his desk.

She was still smiling seductively at him.

"So prisoner 5261..."

"Selene, I have a na." She cut him off and walked closer until her body touched the edge of his desk. "And I like how you call my na with that voice of yours."

Caelum's eyes stared at her for a mont then he looked at Selene's file on the contents of her cris.

"Selene Blackwell, 24 years and 8 months. Born on November 14, 2000. You have killed at least 29 people in the 2 years since you were 22 years old. You were just brought here yesterday afternoon January 26, 2025. And you're already making a scene in my prison?"

She didn't answer but showed a proud smile.

Caelum leaned back in his seat. "Can you tell why you committed all those cris?"

"I think it's all written in the note," Selene replied.

"I know, but I want to hear it from you. Because sotis the record sounds different when the perpetrator himself admits it."

Selene spinned her body, leaning back against his desk. "The obvious reason is because I can do it. Because it's not hard for to figure out who should be the victims of my cris."

She paused for a mont, before finally continuing her sentence. "I love children so much. They are like innocent dolls born with a white color. Their color will co after the formation of the environnt as well as the love that cos from their family and loved ones."

The woman explained that she only eliminates people who abuse children. To her, such people are those who give black color to tarnish the beauty and innocence of a child.

She couldn't let it continue, because she felt that she had to do sothing to save them. If the law couldn't protect them without evidence, because the children couldn't co forward, it ant that soone had to do sothing for them.

"So you're saying you're trying to beco the law itself by eliminating those 29 people?" Caelum asked again with a sharpened gaze after hearing her direct confession.

"That's right." Selene sounded so relaxed when she said it. Her eyes were closed with a beautiful smile on her face.

When her eyes slowly opened again, revealing her blue eyes. Her smile faded away, turning into a cold face with a calmly restrained anger.

"Is it wrong if I try to protect in that way?"
