"Alright... Don't get emotional right now... And don't make us get emotional." Margaret said making Valentina chuckle.
"Fine..." Valentina replied with a smile.
"Let's go..." Margaret said and everyone nodded and got on their cycle.
Just then, Valentina's phone rang and the three looked at her. Valentina took out her phone from her bag and looked at the caller id.
"I need to take this." Valentina said and Elijah nodded.
"We both will leave. You take the call. Jason will wait for you." Margaret replied and Valentina, Jason nodded their head. Elijah and Margaret left from there. While Valentina nodded her head at Jason and walked a little far and answered the call.
"Hello..." Valentina said on the phone.
"I am really so sorry, Ms. Jackson. But I should have to call you on this." Valentina PA said.
"Yeah... Tell ?" Valentina asked.
"Mr. Morton... I an, Mr. Edward Morton wants your appointnt." Tania, Valentina's PA said.
"What?" Valentina asked on the phone.
"Umm... Yes, Ms. Jackson... His PA is continuously calling asking for your appointnt as she got to know that you are coming back to new york tomorrow." Tania answered.
"Did you ask the reason why he wants my appointnt?" Valentina asked.
"Yes, Ms. Jackson... But she is not telling anything and just asking for an appointnt with you. So, that you and Mr. Morton can talk personally." Tania answered.
"Personally?" Valentina asked.
"Yes, Ms. Jackson." Tania answered.
"What does personally an? Ask her that first. God damn... Do she think, I will give my appointnt so easily to anyone?" Valentina asked.
"I told her many tis that I can't give her your appointnt. But she is not at all listening to . And telling that her boss will directly contact you... So, I had to call you." Tania answered.
"Tania... You know well. You know that I really hate Edward and his family... So, do you think I will give him my appointnt?" Valentina asked calmly making Tania shock. Because Valentina never talked so calmly with Tania ever before... Even though, Valentina was rude to Tania still she cares about her employees.
"I know, Ms. Jackson... But, I wanted you to et Mr. Morton. Because we still don't know for what he is going to et you. You didn't ever et him... And you never gave him any chance... Let's see, what he is going to ask for. If he is asking from you for any business deal then you have him in your hands... I don't think, I have to tell you all this... Because, I am beside you for the past 8 years... I have learned all these tricky things from you... So, you know what is good and bad to do right now... It's all your wish at last." Tania answered.
"Wow... You finally proved to that you are the best PA I can ever get... My favorite PA. Give him my appointnt and let's see what he asks for." Valentina said making Tania smile.
"Yes. Anything else?" Tania asked on the phone.
"Yes... Get the information about the new and recent deals of Edward's companies. Email them all... I want to go through all those deals... I want to see what and where he wants my help in sowhere or anywhere... Maybe, I will have an idea about what he is going to ask ." Valentina answered.
"Yes, Ms. Jackson... I am on it... I already collected a few... I need to collect a little more and I will be done... Just give a few hours... I will collect every little thing and mail you everything about him." Tania said and Valentina nodded her head.
"Yes. And until I co... Tell our investigator to keep an eye on him. Okay?" Valentina asked on the phone.
"Yes, Ms. Jackson. Anything else?" Tania asked.
"Yes... How is everything going on there? All good?" Valentina asked.
"All good, Ms. Jackson. Don't at all worry about anything... Things are going really well. We have got a few new deals though... You need to have a look at them before accepting... No big deals until now though... But there is information that there is going to be a new collection is going to be released by the big brand." Tania answered.
"Ahhh! No... I am not going to accept any... I have got an idea for our new collection. I will let you guys know about it as soon as I co there and we will get on the work for this project. This should beco a grand success of the year for Jackson Companies." Valentina said.
"As you say, Ms. Jackson." Tania replied.
"Anything else?" Valentina asked.
"No, Ms. Jackson. I am really sorry once again for disturbing you." Tania said.
"It's fine, Love. See you soon." Valentina said.
"See you soon, Ms. Jackson." Tania replied with a frown and Valentina ended the call with a smirk.
"Edward... Do you want my appointnt? Let's see what you want from ." Valentina said as she chuckled to herself.
"I will surely take an advantage of this." Valentina said as she smirked and turned around to see Jason looking at her.
"Jason..." Valentina called.
"Edward? That is Rose's Dad?" Jason asked.
"Yes..." Valentina answered.
"Why does he wants to et you?" Jason asked.
"You heard everything?" Valentina asked with a stern face.
"I don't care about whatever you called about business with your PA. But I care about Edward eting you without any reason." Jason answered.
"Umm... How would I know why he wants to et ?" Valentina asked.
"What will you do if he asks you for a favor or any help?" Jason asked making Valentina smirk.
"I think, you already know the answer." Valentina answered.
"Val..." Jason called her na sternly with a serious face.
"What?" Valentina asked.
"What are you gonna do?" Jason asked.
"I will use him for any of my future deals." Valentina answered.
"I didn't ask you what you are gonna do with him... I asked you what you will do if he asks you for a favor?" Jason asked and Valentina shrugged her shoulder.
"Depends on what favor he asks ... I will think about it... If I can do it... I will do it... If I can't... Then I can't do anything..." Valentina answered.
"And should I believe whatever you are telling right now?" Jason asked.
"Don't believe then... I can't make you believe in everything I do..." Valentina answered as she kept her phone in her bag and got on her cycle and started cycling.
Jason shook his head and soon, he caught her.
"Val..." Jason called as he moved along with her in the peaceful and silent area.
"Yes?" Valentina asked.
"I just want you to be careful... I didn't et him before too... But I heard Mom and Dad said he is so dangerous and can get to so low for anything he wanted in his life." Jason answered.
"Jason, I know about Edward more than what your parents know him... Heck, the whole world knows how bad and sick he is... Still, he keeps his head high." Valentina replied making Jason sigh.
"I don't care about his things... But you... I don't want you to get into any trouble... I want you safe and sound." Jason said making Valentina laugh out loud.
"I am good, Jason. Don't worry about . I will be alright." Valentina replied with a smile looking at him. Jason sighed and nodded his head.
"Did you try to talk to Xavier?" Jason asked and Valentina shook her head in no.
"We are leaving for New York tomorrow. You know that right?" Jason asked and Valentina nodded her head in yes.
"Are you ready to face the things again?" Jason asked and Valentina shrugged her shoulders.
"I need to be ready for everything." Valentina answered and Jason nodded his head.
"You should..." Jason replied.
"Maybe... I will bury myself in work for a few months..." Valentina said and Jason nodded his head in yes.
"So, you didn't plan on talking with Xavier?" Jason asked.
"I don't know... I want to talk to him and let the things clear but at the sa ti... I don't know... I don't want to et him because..." Valentina cut off in mid-sentence as she realized what was she about to say.
"Because?" Jason asked as looked at her.
"Because... I am scared of getting attached to him again..." Valentina answered and Jason nodded his head.
"Will you go back to him if you think that he is the only one for you?" Jason asked with his heavy heart wanting to hear from her 'No.' But seeing her silence... Make him understand the answer. He nodded his head and didn't talk anything again. They just let themselves be comfortable with their atmosphere... But Jason's heart is on fire... And his brain is making him go crazier... He wants to ask her the question again and again until she says yes... But he knows, he doesn't have any right to force her in any way.
