"Jason... Jason..." Valentina called making him co out of his own world.
"Huh?" Jason asked.
"Where you zoned out?" Valentina asked.
"Ahhh... Sorry about that!" Jason answered.
"It's fine... Don't worry!" Valentina replied as she smiled at him. He smiled back seeing her smile making his heart smile and he felt butterflies in his stomach... Yes, butterflies... He felt butterflies in his stomach seeing her smile that making his heartbeat race like crazily. Only this woman can make him go crazy for her like this... Only she has this audacity to get him on his knees for her.
"Jason... Where are you getting lost?" Valentina asked as she shook him by his shoulder.
"Sorry..." Jason said again scratching the back of his neck nervously as his parents look at him.
"Umm... Yeah... You were talking about?" Jason asked.
"Huh? We were not talking about anything!" Valentina answered.
"Umm... Ohh... Okay!" Jason replied.
"Jason, is sothing bothering you?" Valentine asked and Jason smiled at her as he shook his head at her.
"Are you sure?" Valentine asked and Jason kept his hand on her cheek and caressed her cheek.
"Yes... Don't worry... It's nothing!" Jason answered.
"If you say so!" Valentina replied and Jason nodded his head.
"Kids..." Elijah said making them turn around towards them.
"I am happy for you both... But..." Elijah said making Jason and Valentina frown.
"But?" Jason asked.
"Just think... Think before you take any decision in your life that might matter to your relationship and can affect you so badly to your relationship. We don't know how things will be in the future. So you need to be careful with the decision you make in your life. I guess you are understanding what I am trying to tell you... Because I know, you are mature kids and you know-how life struggles are! Things change in a second when the past hit a person so badly... So, I just hope you don't let any past hit you badly which might even hurt your heart in the future! And the past relationship will surely co in between to hurt your current relationship but knowing who is best for you is good for you before you take any step in your relationship. Yes, it's so hard to choose when it's coming between 9 years relationship and the relationship which just started, and it just been a day... Well, I don't know if this should be called a relationship because I think, it has just been a day since he confessed to you... And you just replied to him, that, let's try it... I don't think it's the right answer for his question... I just don't want to see my son get hurt in any way when you choose soone else giving him hopes!" Elijah said making Jason frown with his words.
"Elijah..." Margaret tried to talk but she knows very well that he needs to talk about it but still, seeing his son happy she doesn't want all his talk to make Valentina think about it and she is sure that if Valentina tries to understand his aning behind his words then she will dig every little thing again which already buried deep down in hearts and no one is planning to reveal it any ti soon!
"They need to know about this... It's their future we are talking about, Margaret!" Elijah replied making her sigh.
"I can understand, Uncle Elijah... Of you are worrying that I might hurt your son in any way... I can understand it... Because I hurt many people in my life... It's fine... I can understand your concern... He is your only son... I will never hurt him. I know, he deserves better than but still, I want to get selfish when it cos to love... I am sorry for begin selfish... I am really sorry... I need to accept that I need your son's love right now... I want soone like him to hold on to ... Things changed in my life so easily... I don't even know they changed until I talk about it out... I know it's funny... But... It's fine... Xavier is so different from Jason... I will figure out my feelings soon. It's fine if you don't want to date your son before figuring out my feelings... I can totally understand it... After all, you only look after your son's happiness..." Valentina said as tears rolled in her eyes and she took a deep breath as it's making the so hard to talk about her life.
"Val..." Jason said and Valentina shook her head at him not letting the tears fall down from her eyes.
"It's... Fine!" Valentina said as she got up from the chair.
"Excuse ... I will be right back... I need a fresh air." Valentina said and walked away before they even reply to her.
Jason sighed as he looked at Elijah making him sigh too.
"I am sorry... I know I crossed my limits but it's all for you... I shouldn't talk like that but... I am really sorry!" Elijah said.
"Elijah... I told you to stop talking about it again and again... Whatever it is... Is a past. Can't you just forget about it goddamnit? You are hell adamant about making her hurt again and again!" Margaret replied making Elijah nod his head.
"Because I care for my son more than anyone... I want to be selfish for my son too... I don't want him to get hurt in the future... Because I know, Valentina will be the only reason to hurt everyone in the future. What else, I can do, Margaret?" Elijah asked.
"Are you crazy? Of course, she will be the reason to hurt everyone but why can't you see the hurt she had gone through... The truth is so bad to get hurt at last... Why will not she hurt others?" Margaret asked Jason to frown.
"Excuse ... What are you talking about? Valentina will be the reason for everyone's hurt and who others made her hurt?" Jason asked with a frown and Elijah, Margaret looked at each other.
"Umm... It's nothing... Just talking about sothing... That doesn't concern you... Jason, can you go out and look for Valentina? She might be hurt so badly... Please make her feel good!" Margaret said and Jason nodded his head in yes.
"I really don't understand you guys... You were like really behaving like there is sothing big that we don't know and should be a big dark secret! What the hell is it about you guys are frequently about it? I am getting irritated with it... Just let it out for god's sake." Jason said with a little irritating voice.
"Shut the hell up... When we said that it's doesn't concern you then you need to understand it... You don't have the right to get irritated on this... We will have our things to talk about... So, I hope you will not ask about it again." Elijah said with a stern voice.
"Fine... If it doesn't concern then, please don't bring it into my relationship. And leave everything to and Valentina. If you think that's she will hurt in the future then it's fine... I am ready to take the hurt from her... If she wants Xavier and wants my help... I will her gladly... Because her happiness in what mattered to than anyone else." Jason replied making Elijah sigh.
"Son... Just try to understand things going on right now... We want to tell you about everything too but it's not the ti... It's not at all the ti for you to tell everything. We promise we will tell you everything when the ti cos. You will understand us then but we know that you will be angry for keeping this away from you but we can't do anything... It's how it is... Your lives will get into danger if we keep everything out in front... We are accepting that there is sothing which we are keeping away but I hope you don't dig anything related to it from us or do anything to know about it... Or force us to yell you!" Margaret said making Jason take a deep breath.
"Mom... I don't have any words to talk to you right now... I don't know what to say too... If you are keeping sothing away from which is not at all good... Then it's fine... You don't have to explain to anything... I know whatever you do will be the best for and my future... I trust you both... I really do. It's fine about whatever you keep away from but please know that I will try to understand every little thing you tell to about anything. I will fo my best in understanding things... Just know this! But please Dad, don't talk with Valentina like that again... Leave how our relationship goes to us... We will figure out sothing later on!" Jason replied making Elijah sigh and Margaret took a deep breath.
"Fine... If you say so... Nothing is important to than my son's happiness. Whatever happens, will happen... Let's think about it later!" Elijah said making Jason smile.
"Thank you, Dad." Jason replied with a smile and he nodded his head.
"I will go and talk to her!" Jason said as he got up from the chair and Margaret nodded her head with a smile.
