They both hugged each other and just then, Jason phone went off...
Jason took out his phone from his pants and looked at the caller id and saw his investigator na on the screen.
"Who is it?" Valentina asked as she looked at Jason who frowned at his phone.
"My investigator... Hope he found any news." Jason answered and Valentina nodded her head.
He got up from the couch as he answer then call.
"Hello..." Jason said on the phone as he answered the call and looked out of the glass window.
"Hello Mr. Jason... I found so information about the lawyer who handled Ms. Jackson's father's will." The investigator said and Jason nodded his head.
"Good... Tell everything about him." Jason said as he looked at Valentina.
She didn't know what they talking about so she got up from the couch and stood beside him.
"Okay... The lawyer is an old man nad Mr. William Wells. He was a lawyer in a small law firm and he has been practicing law for a long ti. He still practice law up until he passed away a couple of years ago." The Investigator said on the phone.
"What?" Jason asked with his wide eyes.
"Yeah... I am sorry... But he had passed away a long back ago." The investigator said.
"But how?" Jason asked.
"I don't know... I checked his death certificate and it says he died in a car crash. The date on the certificate is the sa as the one in the will." The investigator explained.
"Wait... Are you sure it's the sa one?" Jason asked.
"Yes... I am sure... If you want, I can send you a copy of the death certificate and you'll know." The investigator said.
"Okay... Send a copy." Jason said and hung up the phone and just then, his phoen pinged with a ssage and he started checking it even before Valentina ask anything to him.
Valentina saw his eyes got wide as soon as he saw sothing on his phone.
"What's the matter?" Valentina asked as she looked at Jason who was still looking at his phone but just then, his Phone again rang.
Jason saw the investigator na on the screen and answered it imdiately.
"Hello..." Jason said on the phone.
"Mr. Jason... I just sent you a copy of the death certificate of that lawyer." The investigator said and Jason nodded his head.
"Yes... I just checked... And the date on the certificate is sa as the one on the will." Jason said.
"Yeah, Mr. Jason... I told you!" The investigator replied.
"I can't believe this." Jason said as he sighed.
"There is sothing else you need to know too!" The investigator said.
"Yes?" Jason asked.
"He died on the sa day... That Mr. Jackson passed away!" The investigator answered.
"What?" Jason yelled.
"Yes." The investor answered.
"Are you sure?" Jason asked as he looked at Valentina.
"Yeah... I am sure Mr. Jason... I double checked everything." The investigator said making Jason sigh.
"I really can't believe this. How can this be possible?" Jason asked.
"I don't know what to tell you Mr. Jason... But this is the truth." The investigator answered.
"So, there is sothing more behind this mystery?" Jason asked.
"Yes... There is sothing more." The investigator answered making Jason sigh.
Mr. Jason... Are you okay?" The investigator asked.
"Yeah... I am fine." Jason answered.
"So, did you find out anything else?" Jason asked.
"Yes... About his family!" The investigator answered.
"That's great! You found out the information about his family?" Jason asked and Valentina frowned at his question. She didn't know why he was asking about the lawyer's family.
"Yeah... I found that his son was an only child and he is living in New York. He runs a small law firm in New York and he is also a lawyer. He also deals with business law." The Investigator said and Jason nodded his head.
"Good... I want you to go and check out the son and find more information about him... I want to know everything about him and his law firm. Find his address, I need his address and his contact number. I want information about his law firm... Who are his clients? What kind of cases he deal with?" Jason said and Valentina frowned at his words.
"Yes sir..." The Investigator said and Jason nodded his head.
"I'll be waiting for your call and I want everything about him..." Jason said and the investigator nodded his head.
"I'll be calling you back in about two hours." The investigator said and Jason nodded his head.
"Good... I'll be waiting for your call." Jason said and end the call.
"Why are you asking about the lawyer's son?" Valentina asked as she looked at Jason with her wide eyes.
"The lawyer passed away a long back ago!" Jason answered making Valantina wide her eyes and she stumble back a few steps back making Jason grab her by her shoulders.
"Valentina... Careful!" Jason said worriedly.
Valentina looked up at Jason with her wide eyes.
"What... What are you saying? The lawyer is dead!" Valentina said.
"Yes... He is dead." Jason answered.
"But... But... How?" Valentina asked.
"He died in a car crash." Jason answered.
"What?" Valentina asked with wide eyes.
"Yeah... I got this information from the investigator." Jason said.
"What?" Valentina asked as she look at Jason with her wide eyes.
"So, the lawyer is dead and he died on the sa day Mr. Jackson passed away." Jason said as he looked at Valantina.
"What?" Valentina asked with her wide eyes as she is really shocked with whatever Jason just told her right now.
She can't believe whatever he just said... The lawyer was the only hope she had to find out about things but he is no more too and the thing is he passed away the sa day when her father passed away...
"I can't believe this." Valentina said as she held her head with her hands.
"What... What else did the investigator say? Is there sothing more?" Valentina asked as she looked at Jason.
Valentina can't believe what is happening right now.
She was really hoping that the lawyer will be the one to tell them everything about her father's will and about his death but after knowing about this, there is no hope left in her.
