Chapter 1560: Chapter 1435: Trying On Clothes
The sales assistant pushed forward a row of exquisite racks, then took down clothes one by one to showcase them in front of the two. Given that most were in black, white, and gray, the mother and daughter sitting next door frowned, clearly disagreeing.
Song Tan could clearly feel the gazes of the two lingering on her face, then withdrawing dejectedly.
She couldn’t help but glance back at them, noticing that the mother and daughter had delicate features, fair skin, and an overall gentle temperant. It’s normal that they didn’t fancy the black, white, and gray.
Actually, she felt any color would suit her. The creamy yellow sweater dress that Lun Chuan bought last ti also looked great!
But she didn’t have much authority when it ca to fashion, so she just smiled at them. The girl across couldn’t help but return a smile, while the mother sat there pretending to be composed, altogether a bit awkward.
Song Tan thought: The supplier with the green hat was being looked down upon without realizing it, why not talk more about it? Listening to gossip halfway through is so frustrating!
Luckily, Lun Chuan soon pointed at the clothes opposite and asked her, "Do you like this set?"
It was a set of fitted long-sleeve black cashre with a half-turtleneck. Even just hanging there, you could feel the delicacy and beauty of the fabric. Despite being cashre, it didn’t look overly warm in this weather; it actually looked quite comfortable.
Below it was paired with a silver-black belt.
The white loose pants had a strong draping effect, and the color was very gentle.
The salesperson was there explaining the ratio of cashre to silk, the golden ratio cut of the pants, and its seamless blend of simplicity and fashion. They had endless things to say.
Lun Chuan listened silently, then raised his hand to gesture for a pause, simply adding from the side, "If you wear it, whether it’s high heels, sneakers, or flat shoes, it can all match perfectly."
"Even more casually, you could pair it with seasonal slippers."
Song Tan made a swift decision, "This one!"
Lun Chuan was speechless, "There are still a few sets you haven’t seen."
The sales assistant quickly rotated through the presentation: white shirts, black pants, gray T-shirts... all items that Song Tan had previously bought for 9.9 tis the price in her wardrobe.
She watched silently for a while, realizing that good items looked different but that was about it.
But Lun Chuan was obviously enthusiastic. There were still so clothes he had previously bought back ho, so Song Tan soon wasn’t conflicted: "It’s okay, take them all!"
Wow, the wealthy buy clothes so straightforwardly; she thought she’d be trying on clothes in the fitting room all day!
Nevertheless, Lun Chuan still smiled and said, "Let’s change into this set now, when we’re done with matters later, we should head to the farmhouse."
"Oh, right, get another pair of white pants in the sa style." He said this to the sales assistant.
The sales assistant smiled deeply, "Don’t worry, once the clothes have been worn, we offer maintenance and cleaning services here. You can send them back anyti."
Lun Chuan nodded, clearly already aware; it was Song Tan who recalled she hadn’t seen him doing laundry much (especially since most needed hand washing), and finally understood.
She turned into the fitting room, and the clothes were quickly packed and brought over. When Song Tan put them on, she realized that expensive things were indeed worthwhile.
After changing into the clothes and stepping out, Lun Chuan quietly watched for a while, then smiled, "Very beautiful."
But the girl next to her chirped like a canary, "Sister, be confident! You’re stunning! He was just stunned!"
The mother also nodded earnestly, "Looks good, why don’t you get a set too, dear?"
Song Tan chuckled, "Yes, I noticed."
She twirled around, "Should I wear this set?"
Lun Chuan’s cheeks were slightly flushed, but he nodded nonetheless. He looked at the girl across, "I suggest you try cal colors, cal and white suit you better."
The girl was a bit hesitant, but after a glance at Song Tan, she resolutely told the sales assistant, "Cal and white!"
The next mont, the sales representative at the door said, "Mr. Lu, the friend you ntioned has arrived."
She gestured slightly, and a middle-aged woman dressed elegantly with a deep smile entered the room, "Mr. Lu."
Lun Chuan stood up, bringing Song Tan to his side, then pointed beside her, "Thank you, it’s such a hassle."
The woman smiled more deeply, placing the safe she carried on the side, "You’re too kind, this is our standard service — you see, these are the styles you selected, and here are so I thought were good for backup reference."
In the black velvet box, jewelry either crystal clear, deeply green, or dazzlingly bright lay quietly, each glint revealing exceptional beauty.
Song Tan was sowhat surprised and subconsciously touched the peach pendant on her neck, "Should I replace this?"
Lun Chuan shook his head, "Wearing just one style is too plain; having more options is better for mixing — do you like any of these?"
Inside were various jade pieces, but their quality was incomparable to those seen on regular counters and even far surpassed the one she wore around her neck; just one look and you knew they were pricey.
Honestly, given enough ti, Song Tan could infuse spiritual energy into the stones to nurture them into that rich, glossy, and luminous state, but now...
"Alright, I’ll try them on!" She was eager.
And during the process of trying them on, she ca to understand that Lun Chuan’s choice for the black top was not just for style, but also because, like white, the color best highlighted the jewelry’s beauty.
This guy...
Song Tan glanced at him: probably no girl could refuse soone like this, right?
Beautiful faces and jewelry complented each other perfectly, making the process particularly gratifying. The middle-aged woman sitting nearby was also restless, staring wide-eyed, even ignoring her daughter who ca out in new clothes.
The safe wasn’t big, but the items inside were packed full: from bracelets with such a dense green hue they seed to drip jade, to earrings and rings, everything was there.
After looking around, Song Tan found they were all quite beautiful, each with its own charm. So she simply left the decision to Lun Chuan:
"You choose."
During the selection process, the woman who delivered the goods kept sneaking glances at Song Tan. Expensive clothes and jewelry indeed required a person’s temperant to complent. If not sufficiently poised and relaxed, these items served only as decoration, producing not much effect, or even appearing like fake goods.
And although the girl in front displayed amazent at first sighting the jewelry — likely never having seen it before — she quickly embraced it with gusto, relaxed and poised, without a trace of awkwardness.
At this mont, Song Tan also t her gaze.
The next mont, the middle-aged woman smiled, reaching into the box to pick out a bracelet, "Miss Song, would you like to try this one? Although it’s not the most expensive in here, I think it particularly complents you."
