Chapter 1520: Chapter 1395: Classmate

The fans were like fish blown out of the water, dazedly flapping on the shore and clamoring for links, but Qiaoqiao was a good child who never procrastinated on howork, so how could he pay attention to them now?

Instead, he had a video call open on his phone, and on the other end, Yang Zhengxi was rambling: “Don’t look at the conditions after this question yet…”

Not having to take the college entrance exam and being exempted just feels so relaxing.

Most of his chats with Qiaoqiao would end up focusing on problem-solving guidance. Although Teacher Xin was also patient and ticulous, Qiaoqiao often felt that having a genius classmate was pretty good too.

Now, with his genius classmate providing guidance from afar, Qiaoqiao read the questions twice in silence before carefully working through them. Although Yang Zhengxi thought these mathematical problems were sowhat unnecessary for him, he never said so and explained even more thoroughly.

After Qiaoqiao finished all the questions, he finally shifted his attention from the ga and asked, “I still have plenty of ti before school starts in September, and two competitions in between—so are you not going to invite

to your house yet?”

Qiaoqiao hesitated: “But I’ve already invited a lot of other kids over, and if I invite more, my sister will be very busy.”

Yang Zhengxi couldn’t stand it: “Baobao, do you call that inviting? You’re clearly recruiting!”

“If you’re recruiting employees for your ho, how would that tire our sister out? I said I could have my dad send a small excavator from the mountains, and you guys wouldn’t even accept it… Qiao Bao, I really want to visit your ho! How about I bring so of our farm machinery models for you?”

“Think about it, we’re classmates! I can also help you with howork! We can play together!”

This last sentence moved Qiaoqiao—although he had many little friends and he himself was a teacher, he really didn’t have classmates.

He hesitated: “Well, I’ll ask my sister…”

“Hurry up!”

Yang Zhengxi, already holding another phone and hurriedly buying a ticket, said: “Don’t delay, if you delay any longer, tomorrow I’ll co to your house, and all the beef will be eaten up!”

“At that ti, to entertain , if you have to slaughter pigs and sheep, wouldn’t that be so embarrassing?”

Qiaoqiao widened his eyes in confusion: “Our family doesn’t entertain like that!”

But Yang Zhengxi wasn’t paying attention to him anymore; at this mont, he was looking at the routes of planes, high-speed trains, and transfer buses, using his lifelong knowledge to calculate ti and improve efficiency.

In any case, he must have this beef!!!

Even though Qiaoqiao hadn’t replied, Yang Zhengxi was already busy packing in his villa, calling his dad: “Dad, can we send out one of each model from the company and mail them out today?”

This amused Mr. Yang: “Do you know how many years our company has been established? Do you know how many types of agricultural machinery models there are? You’re just a little rascal who hasn’t earned a cent, yet you’re generous with your instructions.”

Yang Zhengxi wasn’t worried at all: “Nonsense, I’ve won awards in competitions every year, and the prize money and discounts I’ve earned save you money, don’t they?”

“Besides, you send the models over, and I stay at soone else’s house eating and drinking for free; isn’t that saving you money too?”

“Stop embarrassing yourself,” Mr. Yang said displeased, “If you have ti, co to the R&D line and work for a few months. Why run all over the place… And don’t use those models as casual gifts; they are made with special alloys and aren’t cheap.”

Yang Zhengxi thought to himself, if they were cheap, I wouldn’t even want them!

Friendship can’t be asured with money, but crashing at soone else’s place ans showing so sincerity!

At this mont, he asked: “I’m going to the place where they sell strawberries; I heard they slaughtered a cow today—dad, just tell

if you want to eat! If there’s a chance being so close, should I buy them?”

Oh boy!

This hit Mr. Yang’s soft spot.

The strawberries that the kid brought back in the winter, Mr. Yang initially dismissed them, but later he asked around the world to find and buy them, and now they’ve beco his cherished treasure! If he has the chance to eat them again, with his wealth, not buying would be foolish!

Mr. Yang was suddenly frustrated: “You child, why didn’t you tell

earlier when you were visiting soone’s house? Then I could prepare so gift boxes for you to take…”

He was going to go on and on, but Yang Zhengxi cut him off: “Dad, shell out so Gold Coins, I’ll buy whatever’s available when I get there.”

Mr. Yang: …

Having been in business for so long, he tends to maintain so dignity, otherwise, he might have joined his son in acting out.

On the other side, Qiaoqiao didn’t know that Yang Zhengxi had already started packing his luggage; he was just holding onto a sliver of hope for his future classmate and asked, “Sister, can I invite my classmate to stay at our house for a while?”

When he said this, the entire table fell silent, and everyone’s eyes turned to Xin Jun.

Xin Jun was even more bewildered: “Qiaoqiao, are you talking about the people who bought my online course?”

Qiaoqiao shook his head: “No, Teacher Xin, didn’t you say to separate reality from the internet?”

He had indeed separated them well, never looking at what was said about him online, and Brother Yanping praised him for doing it right—for a life without worries.

“It’s Yang Zhengxi!” Seeing that no one could guess, Qiaoqiao had to reveal the answer himself: “He’s been teaching

problem-solving, and we’re classmates. Sister, can I invite my classmate to co and stay?”

Song Tan pondered for a mont.

Qiaoqiao was rarely a little nervous; although he spoke uncertainly, he was actually very eager.

After a mont, Song Tan finally spoke: “Of course you can!”

“This house belongs to mom and dad, to you, and to . We all have the right to invite our friends over—I’ve invited Brother Lun Chuan to stay, and mom and dad have invited grandma, grandpa, and the other grandparents… everyone has invited soone, so it’s only natural that Qiaoqiao should too.”

She smiled: “This will be Qiaoqiao’s first classmate to stay over—did you co to ask us ahead of ti because you wanted to tell Seventh Uncle to cook more food?”

Qiaoqiao nodded heavily, his eyes shining brightly: “Yes!”

Then he turned to Seventh Uncle, who hadn’t said a word: “I’ve almost finished my howork, and once I’m done, I’ll work hard every ti at alti.”

Seventh Uncle suppressed the upturn of his lips: “The kitchen was always another learning area for you; effort is expected.”

However…

“Qiaoqiao, did you tell your classmate our family slaughtered a cow?”

Seventh Uncle calculated silently: “If you’ve already said that, I’m afraid they’ll co over tonight—ask them if they want to reserve a plate of braised beef, if they’re arriving late at night.”

Everyone at the table burst out laughing; there was no need to ask, the answer was obvious.

Only Qiaoqiao was earnest: “I’ll ask now—if he doesn’t want to eat at at night, I’ll learn from Aunt Lun Jing to make him a salad.”
