Help! My Male Employees Are Having Babies! Chapter 100: Career Change with a Twist of Fate

Zach and Ben were sitting at a table having coffee when Leo and Emma walked to the dining room carrying their trays. Zack motioned for them to co and sit with them. Zack was kind of taken back by the sparse amount of food on the trays—each tray had so sort of salad with a fruit cup along with one slice of cake and a water each.

"Don’t tell you think that al is going to keep you two running," Zack remarked.

"It’s not much but it’s enough to survive on," Leo responded. "I know that the nursing staff said that we had a full al plan here but still we’re not about to take advantage of the generosity of others when there’s even people with less than this to eat."

Ben shook his head in disbelief. How much humbler could a person be, especially a human?

Ben cleared his throat. "Well I guess you two have spoken to Carter and Mrs. Rich. I believe you were given an opportunity that you intend to take advantage of—correct if I’m wrong."

"No Sir, you are very correct. I do intend to take advantage of the situation that has been presented to us in our good fortune," Leo said. "I guess Leo will just have said around the house and babysit until he can find sothing in that area because this is opportunity that I cannot pass up, one chance in a lifeti."

Ben chuckled. "All he’s got a job to do—he’s going to have to design all the walkways, all the gardens, all the florals, everything for the new Museum area plus the two ranches, so he is going be very busy. And don’t worry about childcare—we have that covered there at the ranch. There are people waiting in line to help with Allison, they might be Genn but hey, we’re pretty good when it cos to kids."

Zack smiled. "There’s a lot to be done here. Your house is being renovated right now and there’s been a few alterations done to it to make it accommodating—such as a work area for Leo with drafting tables, and Emma, you’re going to get that chef’s kitchen you always wanted, the kind that you see on those fancy TV programs. And the little princess has to have her own playhouse."

He continued, "Where you’re at has only two hos there and I do know for fact I’m planning sothing with the other one. The young couple that’s going to be there, if they move into it, have a 10-year-old Genn child equivalent and are expecting their first child together. The dad’s a hobody and the father number two in command under Ben here in the construction departnt. In fact, he’s the one that’s renovating both houses as we speak—he doesn’t know who the second ho is for."

As they were speaking and eating, Ed Hawthorne walked up.

"So, what’s the good news—are they going to accept the jobs? Because Carter has got plans, giant plans at that. When he is finished doing the revisions to the planned site plans, people are going to say the tropolitan Museum of What? I didn’t know anything existed by that na."

Leo and Emma both thanked the three n for the opportunities they were being given, but it might be a little while before they could break loose from the hospital and make the trip out there since it was so far away.

"Far? Heck, it is just a hop, skip and jump for one of my cruisers—we’ll be out there in 30 minutes," Ed said. "The two of you can tour the place to get a feel of the area, see your new ho, where you’ll be living, check out the plans for the museum and Leo here can check and see what’s been done so far. He might even et young Jared and go over a few of his plans that he’s had for the gardens."

Leo and Emma were very excited at the prospects of getting to see their future ho but Allison was still in the NNICU and they couldn’t walk off and leave her.

"Alone? Allison is never going to be alone as long as Daniel and Hyden are up there, plus the nurses are just crazy about that little girl. She’ll be well taken care of—they will have a video monitor station system set up so that you can view her at any ti on a special link," Ed replied.

Zack grabbed his napkin, wiped his mouth and dusted his hands off and looked at Ben. "Hurry up slowpoke, we’re going to wait known you in a minute."

"Not by a long shot—I’m used to eating on the run," Ben chuckled.

They were on their way when Ben’s phone rang—it was Claude.

"Ben, where are you? We need to talk. I’m afraid Reggie has lost his mind—you would not believe the things he’s been saying today."

"Okay Claude, I’ll bite. Would you like to tell ? I need to put my ear piece in because we’re in the jumper cruiser headed your way right now to the ranch with a couple of the VIPs."

"He is saying, Ben, that Erin isn’t going to be your child—his father is sobody by the na of Leo. He’s already told Max that he should hold out and wait for Leo so that Erin can be converted to a hybrid. He’s been rattling on all morning, that you were only the way keeper, you were to start the process through an act of evil portrayed on both of you so that the chosen could co and lead the people out of the darkness and into the light." Claude paused. "Ben, what worries is, this is the prophecy being fulfilled from over 1000 years ago by the archives."

"Claude, I need you to repeat this to Zach. Give my ear bud and I need you to repeat exactly what you told about Reggie and Erin."

Reggie walked into the room. "If that’s daddy on the phone, tell him I know that he has Leo and they’re on their way with Emma. And I need to talk to both of them when they get here so that they can understand the importance that Max survives along with Erin."

"Did you hear that Ben? He’s starting to scare the hell out of and I don’t frighten easily. What the hell is going on with this child?"

"Repeat everything to Zach now—here he’s now got the com."

Zack listened as Claude repeated everything word for word. He could even hear Reggie telling Claude specific details of what should take place as soon as possible between Max and Leo. He also told them that Emma had kept a secret from her husband after Allison was born, and he had to know soon or it would destroy their marriage and that could not be allowed because Erin needed his mom to be in his life along with his father and his dad as a family.

"Claude, tell Reggie that we are all on our way, and he will have ti to sit down with the two parties individually and explain to them what the future holds. We’ll be there within 10 minutes," Claude told him and hung up the phone.

Reggie was very pleased that Leo was on his way and he went to go tell Max to close himself off until his future arrived.

Ben looked at Zack and Zack looked at Ben—this was going to be an interesting day after all. Ed looked at the two of them. "What’s up?"

"Tell you when we get landed and it is going to be a ga changer," Zach replied.
