Help! I'm in Another World and the Dragon Man Want Me To Get Pregnant! Chapter 73: A Change in Plans
"Ainzach."
"So, what’s your plan? Keeping him with you? If that’s the case, you might wanna rethink the whole adventurer thing. Depending on his skills, it could be risky. You’re Rank A Adventurer, you’ll get him hurt."
That was the problem.
His current lifestyle ant being on the road nearly all year round.
Just looking at Shen Xinghui’s status made it clear—he wasn’t suited for such a life.
Moreover, not all of Ignatius’s quests took place in human territory.
He often traveled to Beast Man nations, where things could get complicated.
So Beast Man, like the lion clans, practiced polygamy, and their males were known to take partners by force if they were interested.
There was no way he would take Shen Xinghui sowhere like that.
"...Maybe it’s ti to return to my holand."
Ignatius had never considered being an adventurer his calling.
If he returned to his holand, there was work waiting for him as a prince.
He had enjoyed the freedom of adventuring, avoiding the constant pressure of marriage and producing heirs that surrounded him back ho.
But perhaps it was ti to reconsider.
More than anything, he wanted Shen Xinghui.
He wanted the ti and stability to court him properly.
He didn’t wish to force anything—he wanted to build their relationship naturally, through conversation, shared experiences, and ti spent together.
If they could gradually beco lovers in a peaceful way, that would be ideal.
Thinking about this, he was reminded of his childhood friend, Augustine.
About two years ago, Augustine had claid to have found his "perfect wife" and had practically abducted them and locking them away in his estate.
It had caused all sorts of problems and scandals, yet sohow, things had worked out—his wife had eventually accepted him, and they had even started a family.
Now, they seed... happy, in their own way.
That relationship likely owed its success to his wife’s remarkable patience.
At the ti, Ignatius had been shocked by Augustine’s actions and found him hard to condone.
But now, he understood—at least a little.
He had no intention of imprisoning Shen Xinghui like Augustine had, but the urge to take him back to his holand was undeniable.
The question was, how could he convince Shen Xinghui to co with him?
If he acted too forcefully, he’d be no different from Augustine.
"You’re really going back to your country?"
"Yeah, I think it’s ti."
"That’s a sha," Ainzach said, though his expression was calm and understanding as he smiled.
After spending so ti discussing his future plans with Ainzach, Ignatius headed to the church to wait for Shen Xinghui.
When Shen Xinghui finally erged, his expression was troubled, as if he had been deeply contemplating sothing.
Had the results been unexpected?
Did he not receive the skills he had hoped for?
A sense of unease crept into Ignatius.
He wanted to embrace Shen Xinghui, to reassure him—but that would only confuse him.
In the end, all he could do was greet him as calmly as possible.
"How did it go?"
Shen Xinghui hesitated, thinking for a long ti.
His face was filled with frustration, even pain.
Ignatius didn’t want to see him like this—he wanted Shen Xinghui to smile.
"Shen Xinghui?"
"...I don’t have any skills," Shen Xinghui admitted quietly. "They checked thoroughly, but there was nothing. They even went over it multiple tis, thinking it might be a mistake... but still, nothing."
That was unexpected.
Ignatius had assud Shen Xinghui would have at least so kind of skill.
But then, another thought crossed his mind—this ant Shen Xinghui wouldn’t be bound to a master to train in a specific trade.
It was still possible for him to find work, but in human society, it would be much harder without a skill.
That, at least, gave Ignatius a reason to take him along.
Besides, Shen Xinghui’s cooking was exceptional, even without a skill to enhance it.
His work was ticulous and full of care.
"There’s no need to be so discouraged," Ignatius said gently. "Let’s head back to the inn and rest. It’s been a long day—you must be exhausted."
"...Alright."
He spoke in a reassuring tone, but Shen Xinghui still looked deeply dejected.
There was even a sense of desperation in his expression that worried Ignatius.
He’s hiding sothing.
The thought struck him, but he couldn’t tell what it was.
For now, he simply guided Shen Xinghui toward the inn and determined to stay by his side.
...
Ignatius was traveling toward his holand, Drakhtar Dominion, with Shen Xinghui.
He could tell that Shen Xinghui was lost in thought.
He looks troubled by sothing.
However, without knowing exactly what was weighing on his mind, there was little he could do.
He considered asking, but there was a subtle resistance, as if he did not want to be questioned.
In the land of dragons, humans were in high demand.
They could secure well-paying jobs with favorable conditions.
Using that as an incentive, Ignatius had convinced him to co along.
It wasn’t a lie—humans were indeed highly regarded in dragon territory.
Their small stature, dexterity, and lack of an imposing presence made them appealing.
But in truth, Ignatius had no intention of making Shen Xinghui work.
His real goal was to court him in this country.
First, he would take him to his estate, show him around the city, and spend ti together over tea.
He would share stories, close the distance between them little by little.
As for a place to stay, Ignatius wanted him to live in his own residence.
Renting a house would require money, and he knew Shen Xinghui was sensitive about financial matters.
He pretty sure that he would preferring to avoid borrowing when possible.
That was why he planned to offer him an unused room, suggesting that, in return, he simply cook for him occasionally.
That way, it would seem like a fair exchange.
It was a rather cunning plan, but he couldn’t stop himself.
They say love is blind, and it was proving to be true.
