Hours later Lucius walked into his room with a book in his hand and breathed a sigh.
Today was interesting to say the least.
He had beaten up Xander but he wasn't the least bit proud.
If Xander had more experience or had been fighting with full power, Lucius would have been easily crushed.
He knew that his strength was inadequate so he could only train and get stronger. For that, Lucius knew he had to do two things:
Practise hard and seduce more won!
The saying that 'behind every successful man there is a strong woman' couldn't be more applicable to Lucius!
Right now these won would be the cornerstone of Lucius's growth.
Of course, he couldn't just play around with won. His practice would I'll d have to be just as, if not even more, vital.
Thinking like this Lucius brought out the book he had taken away from the library
"The Essence absorbing art.." muttered Lucius as he looked at the book.
He observed the several drawings inside of the book about the Essence gathering techniques and was familiar with the process in which he should move the mana inside his body.
Lucius sat down at the edge of his bed and closed his eyes.
Slowly, Lucius began to control his body and entered into a specific breathing pattern.
Several seconds passed and, at first he could feel nothing but he didn't panic.
He continued in the strange state, following the breathing pattern perfectly when his body suddenly began to feel warm.
In that mont Lucius could feel a warm sensation coming from deep within his body. The sensation didn't just end there as Lucius could feel the sensation also coming from all around him as if it was in the cry air.
He instantly knew what this feeling was
Mana!
Lucius knew at that mont he was feeling the man flowing all around him but he only let himself feel excited for a little bit before calming down.
Too much excitent could lead him to ss up the mana technique and even if the Essence gathering technique had no major cost for failure. Lucius didn't want to waste more ti getting back into their state.
Concentrating, Lucius slowly guided the ambient mana into his body with each subsequent breath.
Lucius didn't slack off, concentrating to the max, he slowly guided the mana inside of his body and moved it upwards towards his chest.
His breaths grew deeper and deeper as he tried to take on as much mana as possible whilst compressing it all towards his chest.
The spelling man in his Jody grew more and more as Lucius used his ntal strength to condense it.
The mana naturally resisted this thod of compressing and tried to break free, causing Lucius to engage in a little battle over control of the mana.
But the wild ambient mana was no match for Lucius will power and could only be further compressed until…
Pop!
Lucius instinctively felt that limit had been broken as a massive change started taking place in his body.I think you should take a look at
The man in his chest instantly condensed forming a core as the force he felt from the mana gathered around him changed from repulsion to attraction.
Before, if moving mana felt like he was trying to swim upstream, now with this newly ford core it felt as if he was flying with the wind!
Lucius took ti and ditated and he didn't even realise what was happening as ti passed by.
Seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours but Lucius didn't move com;etley imrsed in the Essence Gathering technique
When Lucius's next opened his eyes he didn't know how much ti had passed.
Lucius could feel the warm sensation in his chest.
Clenching his fist Lucius could feel the power coursing through his body.
"This... this is power!"
After feeling the new overwhelming power in his body, Lucius felt like he could move a mountain.
Of course, this was just an illusion caused by suddenly gained newfound power but it still made Lucius feel extrely satisfied
"Congratulations young leader."
"The Fuck!" cursed Lucius
Lucius jumped when he heard this voice suddenly appear beside him.
As Lucius looked over he could see a pair of calm purple eyes looking back at him.
Lucius' heart quickly cald down after seeing the familiar face but the sudden jump scare made him want to curse.
'Fuck!this ghost-like woman is at it again! How the fuck did she even get in here!'
"Camilla."
"Yes Young Leader."
"How did you get in here? I locked the door and left the key inside."
"Young Leader, I used the window"
Lucius: ???
"The Window?"
"Yes young Leader."
"But this is the 2nd floor?"
"Young leader, is that supposed to make a difference?"
Lucius was left speechless.
He really didn't know what to say to this crazy woman.
He could only sigh as he rubbed his brows in frustration
"Why were you so desperate to get into the room, anyway?" asked Lucius
"Young leader, you had a duel today. I was worried that sothing may have happened to you, so I ca to see if you were okay."
Hearing this, Lucius's heart felt a little warm.
Knowing that soone cared about him was nice, but knowing that soone cared about him that much, but it was still unsettling that soone sneaked into his room!
