Zorat, seeing as there was no reasoning with Ava on her misunderstanding, decided to simply re-emphasize his point.
"That’s not what’s important, Ava, focus.... Do you really want to dislike you ?"
Ava, who was still swooning and smiling, suddenly beca solemn as she swung her head from side to side, indicating to an no.
Zorat grinned."Well, good. I just need so space, you think you can do that ?" He asked in a lighter tone, and Ava nodded in agreent.
Zorat was about to turn and return to his forr position when he noticed Ava was still standing in place, and it seed she had sothing to say.
"Ava, you want to talk about sothing else ?" Zorat really didn’t care what she wanted to talk about, but he knew he had to manage the young lady carefully, unless he was ready to end her and be done with.
Which was also the part that Zorat found quite odd. When he looks at Ava, the usual spontaneous urges he gets to slaughter for the fun of it don’t seem to get triggered for so reason.
He might often contemplate the possibility, but carrying through was a different matter. Zorat felt it might be because she reminds him so much of soone.
Zorat saw Ava seem to struggle a little before she finally spoke." Do you rember.... The thing you promised .... " she said as she turned completely flushed in embarrassnt.
"I hope you ... keep your promise." Blushing, Ava closed her face with the palm of her hands in embarrassnt, and ran away shyly.
A promise ?. Interesting.
However, why can’t I pull on any such mory ?.
Hmmm... unless...
Zorat had a curious expression on his face as he watched Ava run off to join Ariana and Erica in the distance.
Zorat has already gone through the entire collection of mories he inherited from Caleb, and he could say with utmost certainty that there was nothing special between the forr Caleb and this young lady.
And there certainly wasn’t any promise he could recall.
However, another possibility soon occurred to Zorat; what if the forr Caleb’s soul was not actually destroyed and still exists sowhere.
That will cause a lot of things to start making sense.
For lesser beings, mories are usually attached to the mind, and when a soul becos separate from the mind since their souls and body cannot be separated.
However, stronger mories in lesser beings, sotis behave how a higher being’s mories would operate, and are directly imprinted on the soul, skipping the mind entirely.
This is very rare, and unless one becos a higher being, separating the soul from the mind and body is impossible. Which makes incorporating certain pivotal mories in the soul fro lesser beings, a completely useless endeavor.
Although, what if Caleb’s soul had sohow achieved the impossible as a lesser being, and at the mont of the summoning, managed to have his soul separated from his body, and in so doing, leave with those pivotal attached mories of his.
The summoning.... I see.
Zorat muttered in his mind as it dawned on him, even though these heroes were summoned into this world with so rudintary thod; his own summoning, which could transport his soul to an entirely different dinsion, had interfered with Caleb’s summoning; which also computes that Caleb’s soul might not have been destroyed at all during the summoning, and might have been thrown sowhere else.
Lumrheal!
Zorat frowned. It just occurred to him now that since his soul was shot out from his dinsion with his extrely capable summoning ritual into a different dinsion entirely; there exists a possibility that Caleb’s soul might have been sent to his own dinsion as well.
Granted, Caleb’s soul would imdiately perish the nanosecond it appears on hell’s highest plane of existence, but it was also a certainty that ’the one above all’ would have noticed Zorat’s disappearance when he left, and sougth a ans to investigate his destination.
What would then happen when the human soul of Caleb appears in the place of Zorat’s sudden disappearance; would Lumrheal allow the only lead, perish?.
Certainly not. Using the mories of the real Caleb, it’s just a matter of ti until Lumrheal locates Zorat.
That...plicates things.
Zorat had planned for everything, the summoning ritual that would even be veiled from Lumrheal, who sees all, and a soul resonance disrupting runic chain to veil his marked soul.
But he never accounted for how powerful his immortal body which he used to power the summoning would be.
There’s still ti..hehehe.
Zorat smiled as he recalled what he stands to gain in this world.
He had the option of recreating the summoning he did at the ti; though, this ti, he would have to slaughter the entire star system of this corner of the dinsion to achieve a sliver of its forr effect.
But just that sliver would be enough to leave this world that has no doubt been marked by Lumrheal, if his analysis were indeed correct, and the forr Caleb still exists.
Still, it would take Lumrheal quite so ti to arrive. They wouldn’t need millions of years to perform any summoning ritual or anything like that....
But it would still take ti. Ti enough for Zorat to achieve all he plans to in this world, strip it clean to the bone, and finally ascend.
Hehehe... how exciting.
As adrenaline inducing as these events are to Zorat, he still planned to hasten his plans.
Zorat grinned, looking at the gathered heroes in the distance, so were talking, so were eating, so were just ditating and resting, while others were looking in Zorat’s direction furtively.
Zorat grinned as he began murmuring in rhythm, his gaze drifting over them, from one hero to the other...
"Eeny..." Zorat’s gaze drifted from Adrew to Ariana.
"...eny..." his gaze drifted from Roberto to Julia.
"...miny" then jacon to lilly, and finally... Zorat’s grin contorted into sothing devilish...
"Moe" his gaze settled on Broddy.
hehehe.
