They arrived at the city’s most exclusive shopping district, where high-end boutiques lined the pristine streets. Soren had arranged for one of the most luxurious stores to be closed for their private shopping experience. As they entered, the staff greeted them with polite bows, and the store manager approached with a warm smile.
"Welco, Mr. Soren. Everything is prepared as per your instructions."
Riven looked around in awe. "You rented out the entire store?"
Soren smirked, "Of course, how else would one shop?"
Riven had to avert his eyes imdiately. Soren seed to be shining too brightly. Is this how rich people live?
As Riven tried on various outfits, Soren watched with appreciation, nodding approvingly at each selection. "We’ll take them all," he declared after each fitting.
"Just how much money do you have?" Riven yelped.
He was an ordinary person in his last life, such luxury was sothing he could never experience.
"Enough to pamper you, now let’s go to the next place." Soren dismissed him as if spending this much was an everyday thing for him.
After hours of shopping and nurous bags later, after hours of shopping and nurous bags later, Soren led Riven to an upscale jewellery boutique.
The jewellery store was nestled at the heart of the luxury district, its glass façade gleaming under the soft overhead lights. The mont Riven and Soren stepped inside, the atmosphere shifted—cool, quiet, and absolutely drenched in opulence. There were no loud salespeople, just gentle music and rows of glittering pieces that sparkled behind pristine glass displays.
An elegantly dressed attendant bowed politely. "Welco, Mr. Soren. Everything is ready. Please, this way."
They were led to a private section at the back, curtained off from the main gallery. On a velvet-covered table, a curated selection of pieces awaited—bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces, most of them featuring moonstone, obsidian, and other rare gems from the mountainous regions.
Riven leaned in over the table, gasping softly. "These are... Stunning."
Riven’s eyes widened as he admired the sparkling gems. "This place is incredible."
Soren guided him to a display case. "Pick anything you like."
Riven hesitated, then pointed to a delicate silver bracelet adorned with moonstones. "This one."
Soren nodded. "We’ll take it."
"Good eye," Soren murmured. "It suits you. Elegant and rare."
Riven smiled, slipping it around his wrist. "What about you? Shouldn’t you get sothing too?"
Soren tilted his head. "Are you suggesting I wear jewellery?"
"Why not? I want to pick sothing for you."
With a pleased hum, Riven wandered over to the nearby case and plucked out a black obsidian ring, its surface sleek and matte. "This. Very you. Dark, dramatic, and probably cursed."
Soren laughed, the rare sound warm. "Cursed, huh?"
"Cursed with extrely good looks," Riven anded with a wink, slipping the ring onto Soren’s finger. "Perfect fit."
They continued to a hat and accessories store, where Riven tried on various hats, laughing as he modelled each one.
"You should try sothing on too," Riven suggested, handing Soren a sleek fedora. This leopard only focused on him! Why won’t he buy sothing for himself? Riven took it upon himself to get Soren so stuff too.
Soren obliged, adjusting the hat on his head. "How do I look?"
"Devastatingly handso," Riven teased.
They spent the afternoon exploring boutiques, selecting ties, cufflinks, and other accessories. Riven enjoyed choosing items for Soren, delighting in seeing him in different styles. He was dressing up his favourite man! Of course, he was excited!
Soren led Riven to an upscale restaurant with panoramic views of the city. The restaurant sat at the top floor of a towering building, overlooking the glittering skyline. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of the city. The twilight sky was beautiful to watch.
As they settled into their private booth, Riven chuckled, "You know, I thought I’d experience the cliché mont where soone mistakes for a nobody, not knowing I’m sleeping with the boss, and you co in like my saviour."
Soren looked at him, amused. "I would not give them the chance to misunderstand. I made it clear to my people who you are to . No one will make that mistake."
Riven blushed, his heart fluttering at Soren’s words.
Riven was dressed in the outfit Soren insisted he keep from earlier, a fitted cream shirt and soft charcoal pants. He leaned over the table to admire the view. He wanted to shift the topic quickly. He should be the one making others feel flustered, not the other way around!
Their table was set with fine china and polished silverware. The waiter, having taken their order earlier, returned with glasses of wine and a platter of cheeses to try.
Riven reached for a piece, but Soren beat him to it. He started to explain how well that particular type of cheese would go with the bottle of wine he chose.
Riven knew nothing about cheese or wine, he only knew how to eat. But seeing how Soren was talking about it, he stayed quiet and let him explain. Of all the strange hobbies Soren had, he could not have pegged him to be a wine and cheese enthusiast.
The story was too focused on his... Yandere-ness to show his normal side.
Before Riven could comnt on it, their als arrived—Riven’s plate boasted a thick, perfectly seared steak alongside roasted vegetables and truffle mashed potatoes. Soren had the sa. But before Riven could pick up his knife, Soren slid his own chair around the table to sit beside him.
"Hold on." Soren gently nudged Riven’s hand away and began to cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
Riven was gushing internally. He loved being treated like this. At this mont, he wanted nothing but to kiss Soren hard! All over his face for being the perfect male lead!
Once finished, Soren speared a piece of steak and held it up. "Open."
Riven hesitated for a mont before leaning in with a grin. This was what every fujoshi dreams of, ah!
