The Wind God Vess seed interested in the sealed Awakened Skill Luvanka had.

'I wouldn't mind receiving a bigger reward. Can you undo the seal?'

Luvanka asked the Wind God Vess to unseal the Awakened Skill.

'Just to confirm, who created you? Though I suppose everything in the New World was created by Ela.'

"Hm? That's right. However, the settings for the summoned beasts were made by the First Angel rus. I heard his sibling, Lupto, took over after him."

The Wind God Vess had been imprisoned there, and he muttered into his wind, that had not been made by the God of Creation Ela, hoping he would not hear that way.

'...Well, no matter. I brought this up, so I might as well finish it. You might find an answer within it too after all.'

'An answer?'

Luvanka, confused by the cryptic words, was beckoned by Vess.

'...I can't make you a god, but I can give you new fangs and claws. Let them rage wildly.'

Floating in mid-air, Vess placed his hand on Luvanka's chest and began to pour divine power into him.

'Oh, ohhhh!!'

The Grimoire was not there to see if a new log entry had appeared, but Luvanka could hear it announcing that an Awakened Skill had been unsealed within him.

'Awakened Skill [Storm Beast Mode] unsealed for Beast S summon.'

There was no Grimoire there to see the log entry, but Luvanka knew he had heard it in his mind.

-Luvanka's stats (only Awakened Skills)

[Awakened Skills] Mythical Beast Mode, Sacred Bead Creation, Storm Beast Mode

The S Rank summon Luvanka had one of his Awakened Skills unsealed.

Then the Wind God Vess continued pouring divine power into his hand.

'Take this as well. This is the [mory of Wind]. It should fit in the bag tied to your waist. They're my mories, my thoughts. My brother will surely understand.'

A sphere of whirling wind appeared above Vess' hand.

\*The visual effect is like a rasengan.

'Your brother?'

'His na is long forgotten. The Thunder God Sodi. I'm sure he'll be of help.'

'Do you know where he is?'

'Sadly no. We parted ways in battle. Find him, he might be at Lady Amante's side.'

Shea obtained the [mory of Wind].

"And why are you here, Wind God Vess?"

Shea asked why he was there. The Wind God Vess was serving the God of Light Amante, so it was strange for him to be in this place now.

'Right, we agreed I'd tell you. But to be honest I don't know why.'

"Hm?"

They had agreed that he would tell them if they overca his trial, but Vess' reply made Shea gulp, wondering what else he would say.

'So you just awoke trapped in here all of a sudden?'

'That isn't it. We just lost the war.'

Luvanka joined the conversation, trying to prod at the Wind God Vess' mories.

"You an you lost to the God of Creation Ela?"

'Yes. Lady Amante's power was trendous, so we were just one step away from victory.'

It was known that the God of Creation's faction had fought against the factions of the God of Light Amante and the God of Law Axilion. The three supre gods each had high-ranking subordinates: the Three Combat God Sisters, the Eight Light Gods, and the Twelve Beast Gods, all ford into high-ranking divine forces that fought in the Paradise of Primordial Beasts.

The God of Creation's faction was defeated by the overwhelming number of supre and high-ranking gods in the factions of the God of Light and the God of Law.

"So there was an unexpected turn in the middle of the war? You seem to resent the Beast God Garm quite a lot, was he involved?"

'...He betrayed us! Garm suddenly turned against us!!'

'Ghm?!'

The Wind God Vess' anger beca evident with a violent storm around his body. The gusts were so strong that Luvanka was nearly blown away.

"Wind God Vess, please calm down! You an the God of Law betrayed you!!"

The intensity of his anger made it easy to imagine the situation. The God of Light Amante's faction was destroyed by the combined forces of the God of Creation and the God of Law and was driven into the dark world.

'...Axilion was not there. Because he was defeated by Ela.'

The God of Law defeated first, leaving the God of Creation and the God of Darkness to fight one on one. Then the Twelve Beast Gods joined the God of Creation's side.

'I'm not very familiar with conflicts or politics. What do you think, Shea?'

"...Was the defeated Axillion still alive?"

Shea was a princess of Albahar, so she knew more about those things than Luvanka, who had been born as a commoner in the countryside.

'He was not. His body was torn apart, rendering him unable to fight. It was a monstrous act.'

He expressed disdain for the treatnt of the defeated God of Law. His body was torn apart, completely preventing any chance of recovery.

"By taking the life of the God of Law hostage, the Twelve Beast Gods would be forced to defect, crippling Lady Amante's forces."

'Shea…'

Luvanka sounded terrified, wondering if Shea would do that if she was in such a position.

Especially now that they held a deeper understanding about each other.

Usually, Allen handled the analysis and strategy, and Shea, recognizing Allen's ability, focused on support. Sophie was responsible for correcting the course when things went too far, as Shea prioritized her comrades over executing plans.

There was a hint of the fierce beast within Shea.

'Yes, I rember Garm looking desperate as he fought. I see, so he was fighting for his master's life.'

Vess seed to accept Shea's theory.

"I'm shocked you accepted that so easily. Did you really lack so much information? Was there anything else that struck you as odd?"

Shea continued asking, in case there was sothing that could be of help later.

'Not really.'

"Then was the God of Creation Ela more powerful than the God of Law Axilion?"

'No, that shouldn't be the case. Axilion was the God of Law. Law is unmoving. He should've been almighty. I see, I don't know how Ela defeated him…'

Vess questioned that for the first ti.

"I'm not sure I can picture that… But at least it's clear that there was sothing strange there…"

Vess's explanation beca increasingly unclear. Shea dug deeper, asking various questions, but Vess's thoughts went in circles, providing no new information. She looked at Luvanka, who had a closer and longer association with the Beast God Garm, for any insights, but there were none.

'We must move forward now.'

Despite asking various questions, Ves's mory was vague and unhelpful.

There was little known about Axilion's faction, as he was on Amante's side. But now they needed to hurry and complete the challenge against Zew.

"Indeed. Thank you, Lord Vess. Show us the path to the upper levels."

'A new trial awaits those who overco a trial. That's the law.'

*Clap*

"That's pretty standard. Hm? Hmm? Ohh?!"

Reacting to Shea's words, the Wind God Vess clapped his hands as if activating a switch. The narrow platform began to vibrate, growing stronger and stronger. Furthermore, they were assaulted by violent winds, blowing the platform away like a tornado lifting cars and houses.

The platform, spreading like a net over the abyss, was completely blown away.

'Shea!'

Luvanka tried to reach Shea but was already blinded by the strong winds. Covering his face with both hands, he couldn't move a step.

Despite losing the platform, Shea and Luvanka found themselves standing on the spot, confused and cautiously opening their eyes.

"What does this an? Were we in a dream?"

'It seems so. Maybe it was an illusion…'

The 2 saw the stone walls of the 3rd floor.

Looking around they found Vess floating in mid-air, and the stairs leading to the 4th floor behind him. Them falling to the abyss had just been an illusion.

'...Move forward. The answers aren't always things you can see. Though knowing there's soone aware of the contradictions of this world is enough hope for .'

Vess continued muttering, but he was not looking at Shea, but far into the distance.

"Thank you. Luvanka! Let's go up!!"

'Right!'

After half a month completing the challenge, Shea and Luvanka moved much smoothly.

Both of them ran up the stairs as fast as they could. On the next floor, they saw a small figure sitting on the stone floor.

It was the elderly, frail, monkey-like beastman they had seen on the first floor a month ago.

"Beast God Garm!"

"Beast God Garm!"

As soon as Shea called out to him, another voice overlapped hers.

It was her brother, who had always looked out for her since they were small.

"Zew?!"

"Shea?!"

Zew and Shea reached Garm simultaneously. Following Sia, Luvanka and the Ten Heroic Beasts were also present. It seed everyone had reached the fourth level where Garm was without losing a single person.

'Wow!? What is this? For two people to arrive at exactly the sa ti, such a coincidence actually happens...'

Garm covered his mouth with both hands in astonishnt and began to tremble.

Shea and Zew had each taken separate stairs and overco trials on two different levels.

To pass in such synchronized timing was an incredible coincidence.

"Garm, you must be joking. We competed against each other, yet we achieved this result."

'Huh? What are you talking about?'

Zew assud that Garm had planned for the coincidence to happen, but he just played dumb.

"There's still a trial left, right?"

'I was torn on who to give the trial to. I never expected such excellent beastn to appear at once. I'm astonished!'

Garm's playful behavior puzzled Luvanka and the Ten Heroic Beasts.

"Then we can both receive a reward. I won't complain if I get the tail and shard."

Shea declared her desires.

'There's no way I can do that.'

"Then?"

'You two can fight. Whoever wins gets the reward.'

Before Zew could finish his sentence, Garm proposed an outrageous idea.

A battle between Shea and Zew was about to begin.
