Tam-Tam had gotten strong enough to defeat a Demon Great General. Its manner of speech had also improved and could hold a conversation.

The 5 Pentapods helped defeat the monsters, having no issues using close range and long range attacks, as well as everything in between. Even the S Rank monsters were no match.

Allen's heart fluttered with each new Function.

Kurena was surprised by rle's growth.

(She is really strong. It also helps that Tam-Tam can act on his own accord now.)

The Pentapods defended all angles, easily defeating enemies on rle's blind spots.

Tam-Tam had also morized the best way to deal with various monsters.

Sothing was still shining where the monster died. All the other monsters in the area had been defeated as well, so Kiel ran up to the shining object, and the rest of the group followed shortly.

"What's that? Could I get a look at it?"

Allen took it from Kiel's hands. Its dinsions seed off, looking the size of two fists, like a caricature of a staff. Allen decided to try storing it in his Inventory.

'You have stored the Magician's Divine Technique.'

(Magician's Divine Technique? Is that really what it's called?)

Allen was convinced it was a special item. He took it out from his Inventory again and held it up, but it only continued glinting brightly.

"I wonder what that's used for?"

Sophie was also perplexed.

"That's a staff, isn't it?! Give it to !!"

Without waiting for Allen to say anything, Cecile snatched it from his hands.

The staff began to shine more brightly, almost blinding the group.

Kiel was baffled by that.

The light spread to Cecile, before turning into a column that stretched up to the ceiling.

Various symbols appeared inside the light and Cecile was lifted into the air.

Cecile started screaming, kicking around helplessly.

After a while the light vanished and Cecile landed again, the Magician's Divine Technique gone.

"Cecile, are you alright?"

Allen spoke to Cecile.

"Y-yes. But I keep hearing that."

She was still hearing a strange voice.

"What are you hearing?"

Cecile repeated what she had heard.

"Umm, sothing like I'll give you power. She said she was making it easier to use or sothing like that. And uhh…Ultimate Magic Wizard?"

As she said that, her body started glowing, and various symbols of light appeared around her.

Allen opened his Grimoire to check on Cecile.

"Ultimate Magic Wizard..? Is that so sort of special Skill?"

"Hey! Why are you looking there at a mont like this!!"

Cecile was starting to get nervous about her situation.

"You should be happy. It seems you've obtained a new power."

(Cecile has a new Extra Skill.)

They had already found orichalcum equipnt, as well as valuable accessories, but Allen had not expected to find Extra Skills as well.

"Limited, huh. I think those are usually equivalent to Extra Skills."

Those Skills could only be used under special circumstances.

"Let test them!"

Cecile sounded just like Allen.

"Sure, we can do that while we move through the dungeon."

They decided to test the effects of the Skills, and the conditions to activate them.

A few days passed after that. Cecile and Allen were together on a Bird B summon.

They were fighting S Rank armor monsters.

"Flare!!"

Cecile raised her hands, created two fireballs, and shot them at the enemy.

The armor monster raised its shield that was tens of ters tall to defend itself.

But one of the fireballs lted its head, and the other went straight through the shield and made a hole on its torso.

'You defeated 1 Grand Armor. You obtained 160'000'000 Experience points.'

"Ohh! You got that S Rank monster in one hit."

Kiel praised Cecile's magic.

"Heheheh, I obtained the Ultimate Magic!!"

Cecile stood up imposingly, rejoicing in her victory.

(I think this concludes the tests. It took a few days because of the cooldowns, but the Twin Magic Staff helped a lot.)

Allen and Cecile were done testing the new Skills.

-Divine Technique Activation allows the use of Mana Accumulation and Intelligence Boost for one hour.

-Divine Technique Activation has a 24 hour cooldown, and no Mana cost

-The other Skills consud 10000 Mana

-Intelligence Boost added 10000 to Intelligence

-Mana Accumulation required a spell's chant to be twice as long

-A chant could not be shortened when Mana Accumulation was used

-Mana Accumulation doubled the damage of a Skill

-The Twin Magic Staff allowed the casting of two Skills with double damage

-Mana Accumulation could not be used with the Extra Skill [Small teorite]

Allen wrote down what they had learned, and Cecile grinned even more.

"gadeth ntioned that Isiris' power also supports the Gates of Trials."

Allen recalled what gadeth told them before fighting the first Gatekeeper.

"Do you think there are other Divine Techniques around then?"

"Probably. Let's keep our eyes peeled from now on."

Cecile had obtained a second Extra Skill on the second level of the Gate of Scale.
